Warm and quiet big house. Good place. House is very warm when it is cold outside. Lots of space in the kitchen, in the hall. Very comfortable mattresses. Clean linen. Lots of channels on TV. Good hosts. They work very quickly and are our saviors. We had to leave the previous house, it was very cold there and the heaters did not work. We booked this house at 8 pm. And the owners quickly contacted us. At 9 o'clock we were already in a new warm house. The owners even turned on the heater for us. This is a super job and super hosts!!! Good price, service, 5-7 minutes from the center. Everything is nearby. Very quiet and good energy!!! I would like to come back!!! THANK YOU!

This house was perfect! It was really cozy and had everything we could have wanted. It was pretty apparent they put a lot of thought into making the house inviting, plus it had an amazing view of Mt. Shasta!

This house is clean, easy to find, and very well stocked. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The upstairs bedroom was beautiful and I slept soundly! I will define stay here again when I visit McCloud.

At Janet’s place, you don’t just stay—you truly feel like you belong. There’s a deep sense of connection, of being part of something bigger. Black Butte stands in its perfect triangular shape outside the kitchen window, and Mt. Shasta sits in full view from the living room, like a quiet guardian blessing the space. Light flows through the house, bringing warmth and a peaceful presence. With open views of Mt. Shasta, it feels like nature is gently holding and guiding you. You can witness sunrises, sunsets, moonrises, and moonsets—all from one spot. That alone is such a gift. The location is ideal—calm and quiet, yet close to town and everything you need. Janet’s local tips were helpful and added to the experience. She communicates with kindness and clarity. The space is clean, peaceful, and energetically aligned. You can feel it’s held with care and intention. The presence of St. Germain’s energy is subtle but strong. Highly recommend—and we’d love to come back.

Absolutely perfect accommodations for our 7 person girls book club weekend ! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Everything was just as described except the kitchen, which absolutely EXCEEDED expectations. Lots of appliances (toaster, multiple coffee machines, waffle maker etc), spices, utensils, and counter space. We made every meal at the house! 3 separate outdoor spaces, the beds were very comfortable, and the electronics were and added bonus. A truly stunning home that offers just as much comfortability as it has in aesthetics. Renters should note it is very close to neighbors and the interstate but that didn’t affect our stay in the slightest. The ladies were already talking about booking it again before we even left!!

My family and I loved our stay at Karen’s cabin. Beautiful sights of Mount Shasta and Black Butte, peaceful, quiet and just a few minutes drive to everything in Shasta. The cabin is very well equipped with everything you would need. We came in the winter, there was snow outside but inside the cabin it was warm and cozy. Perfect!

This place is great, especially for the price. While it's just a 1 bedroom apartment, it feels much bigger than the photos show, especially the bedroom. The bed is super comfy and the bedroom doesn't share a wall with neighbors, just the carports, it's quiet. It's within reasonable walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, etc. The shower has the strongest water pressure of any shower I've ever been in. It's amazing. I'll definitely stay here again if it's available.

Meticulous, well supplied, clear instructions. We traveled with our dog, and the small fenced little "yard" area was perfect for us...eliminating the need to go 'for a walk' in a strange environment. The residence was spectacularly clean and well supplied. Cute touches in design and decor!! My only suggestion would be to change the shower head in the bathroom, as it projects the water at and out the open door when walking in! Water is cold at first (normal), but there is no way to turn it on and get warm water without waiting inside ....with COLD water on you! The shower head won't twist to a side of the cute enclosure so it won't SHOWER the open shower door!! EEEK! Be sure and put the bathmat down first!! Very cute bathroom, well stocked, LOVED the eco toothbrushes provided!!! We had one question for WREN, via the AirBnB app and it was immediately answered!! All around - great place to stay!!!! We definitely would use this residence again.
