The accommodation was nice and clean, the heater was very warm and the bath was clean as well, we had a comfortable bath

Such an energetic positive person, we felt so welcomed throughout our stay. Picked us up from the port and took us to places that were tricky to reach. I will definitely return to his place in the future. I wish him the best until we meet again.

Me and my Fiancee had a fantastic time in and around Kobe and this apartment is big enough for two with great facilities, I especially enjoyed having a washing machine and not needing to use the local laundry shops, which I have had to do on previous visits. It has great links, as Kobe station is and easy walk as well as the subway. there are many local restaurants, shops, convinces stores and a supermarket less then 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Everything was set up for our arrival and staying in a more traditional style apartment was a nice change for this trip. Toki's communication was fantastic and all the information in the apartment was useful. I hope others take the opportunity to stay at Toki's accommodation as we had a really good time and a wonderful experience

I would give 6 stars if I could - Extremely friendly hosts, very beautiful traditional guest house and the island is amazing as well. You will meet many interesting and kind people staying at the guest house as well. I would recommend joining in on the shared meals too, it's a lot of fun helping out with them and eating communally.

There were a lot of children's play equipment, and I enjoyed it!We'd love to stay again soon if we get the chance!

The accommodation is located 20 minutes by train from the center. It was nice to see a quiet neighborhood and experience a traditional Japanese house.

It was a beautiful room that had just been renovated. There were two toilets and two washstands and air conditioners on the first floor. It was a 2-minute walk to the sea. I was able to walk to the sea many times. I also enjoyed searching for cats in the city. The wifi was also smooth for children to play games and watch videos. It was a nice kitchen and well equipped with tools. I was able to use a large refrigerator for five days and three meals. It was a 2-minute walk to the neighborhood rental car for 2,500 yen. I was able to stay in a room that I wanted to stay three years ago. I was able to stay in a room. I was able to stay in a room that I wanted to stay three years ago. I was able to stay there. Takaaki San was extremely helpful and considerate. The airbnb was easy to find and the location is amazing, right near the train station, walking distance to Okayama castle and gardens, near the tram also. The airbnb itself is spacious and it was like our own little home. Takaaki San, ありがとうございました！

This stay was such a delight. We were picked up by a taxi from the station and given such incredible treatment and hospitality throughout the entire accommodation. We arrived to find a fresh pot of rice cooked for us from the local garden, as well as enough seaweed and eggs to put a nice breakfast together. We even forgot a few items at the house and they went out of their way to ship it back to us in 1 day at no extra cost. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and sweet. 10/10 host and staff, we loved Uehara san, and Higashihiroshima is a really beautiful place. I’d love to come and stay again. Absolutely recommend.

The host is very friendly and sent me a lot of nearby sightseeing spots and restaurants.The apartment is a certain distance from JR and Wakayama station, about 15 minutes on foot.The apartment is suitable for 2-3 people and it is very easy to rent bicycles downstairs for free.It was a great experience.

2nd time in Japan and Khaki’s was one of my favourite stays/memories!! His place has a unique “cabin in the woods” feel, surrounded by beautiful trees, with a fire pit. Yet has all the amenities to make it comfortable (heating, hot shower etc). Khaki was amazing, super responsive and friendly, he came to pick us up at the station, drive us to the supermarket so we could buy dinner to make on the barbecue (delicious!). We also did pottery with him and cannot recommend enough! It was such a wholesome time, his parents popped in to say hi, and the whole family are not only the loveliest people but also polymaths - potters, carpenters, musicians…there’s nothing they can’t do and have loads of stories to tell!! Highlight of our trip so far if you’re happy to make the easy train/bus ride there from Kurashiki!

Very cozy place and prefect to couple trip

We had a wonderful time at Yoriko's house. Yoriko was an amazing host. The house was very comfortable, well equipped and had very generous breakfast ingredients, including ingredients for home made bread. Yoriko very kindly booked restaurants for us and gave us lots of tips in what to do. The house is within walking distance of the town centre. We enjoyed a hike up mount Bizen, and drove to temple 13 and walked from there to temples 14 and 15. We also visited The Naruto whirlpool. Great place to spend a few days. Wish we had more time.

The check-in procedure was easy to understand, and the room was clean and very comfortable.It's a futon-style bed, so people who usually sleep on soft beds may feel that it is hard.It was nice to have plenty of dishes and tea sets for service.However, regular coffee powder was provided, but the style was to stick a lightweight spoon into the powder, so it may not be suitable for people who are concerned about touching it directly.　I thought the quick reply to messages was very good.

The place is as nice as the pictures show. The host was kind and gave us recommendations for destinations. They also drove us to the station and nearby attractions, so we had a fun trip.

The house is old, but very well taken care of. It’s a bit far from the street but you can easily get to supermarkets with 5min drive. The host is very nice and willing to help. The bath is something you definitely want to try. Near the house there is a park, where people especially children there are very polite and it’s fun to watch them play sports.

A little cheaper would be appreciated.
