‘Your place’ on the River!

this place is a gem! such a peaceful weekend from napping in the enclosed porch and reading by the river in front of the fire, to soaking in the hot tub under the sun. the home itself is beautifully decorated with cozy blankets in every corner. we especially loved the large kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook + bake :) they even have a lovely market a 5-min drive away. it's truly an escape from the city with farmland next door and just the sound of birds outside— so if you're looking for a comfy escape into nature, this is a great place. the only thing is i wish it were a tiny bit more private - but luckily we never ran into any neighbors so it was fine during our stay. Jen + Daimon were also so accommodating and warm, we'd love to be back!

I cannot say enough good things about Joel and his beautiful place. The bathtub was definitely the highlight of our trip. The space is actually much bigger than i thought especially with the Murphy bed up. As for Joel, he was very responsive and great communication overall. I can say without a doubt he’s the best host I’ve ever come across. We are planning to stay again in the future!

Being a realtor and my husband an architectural designer our standards are high...this home exceeded our expectation. The floor plan was wonderful for a larger family like ours. Furnishings were well thought out for smaller children including the easy to use baby gates. Adequate space inside and out for plenty of fun for both adults and little ones. Of note, we had 6 children 7 y/o and below. View was spectacular. While you do sometimes see the train and always hear the train it did not take away from our ability to enjoy this airbnb and honestly for the most part it was a delight to the kids. Our family all being in the profession of real estate appreciated the overall construction of this home, definitely built with quality items and appears no expense was spared to allow for a very enjoyable vacation home.

We have stayed at this place before and have always received phenomenal service. There was only one small issue during our stay, and Mike got it resolved immediately. He was very communicative, the place was beautiful, and it was spacious for our larger group of 10. Highly recommend and would stay again!

The house is INCREDIBLY renovated. the property itself is gorgeous. I was staying for a work trip, but am totally going to come back with my family for a weekend getaway. Thank you so much!

This house is absolutely exceptional. From the moment you arrive, it feels like stepping into a warm, welcoming home, reminiscent of visiting a beloved aunt's place. The property is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need—and then some. Each bedroom features its own private bathroom, adding a touch of luxury and convenience. The open kitchen, dining, and family room area is well-designed, allowing for togetherness while enjoying separate activities. The views through the windows and from the huge backyard deck are stunning. We enjoyed BBQs, sunbathing, the outdoor hot tub, and the beautiful surroundings for walks, games, swimming, and fishing. The property also boasts a cozy fireplace, perfect for enjoying starry nights with loved ones—don’t forget to bring marshmallows for roasting!Our time here was nothing short of wonderful. Lauren, the host, is incredibly easygoing, kind and quick to respond to any inquiries, making the entire experience even more enjoyable!
