Our hostel is located in Ikseon-dong. Ikseon-dong Hanok Village is a peaceful and beautiful space where the history of the Joseon Dynasty remains. It is famous for its alleys. The narrow alleyways are lined with uniquely decorated trandy shops and cafes. Also there are a lot of tourist attractions such as Insadong, Bukchon Hanok Village and Gyeongbok Palace around the hostel.

The place was relatively easy to find and get to with comprehensive instructions and, and was convenient and walkable to all the action. I felt safe at all times even when I was returning at night. They allowed flexible check in/out timings for me as the room was available and the room was really clean and neat. I highly recommend travellers who tend to do quite a bit of shopping to book one of the bigger rooms as the space is more accommodating for people with huge luggages, even for solo travellers. There were adequate amenities provided as well. The only con was the thin walls, which might pose as quite a problem from light sleepers especially during the weekends. My housemates were generally considerate but you could still hear them in the common areas. People in the guesthouse above may also contribute to the noise as I happened to come across a rowdy group on Sunday night. All in all, the pros far outweigh the cons for me and I wouldn't hesitate to book this again for my next t

Awesome place, not too far from anything, shops, subway, top facilities plus free laundry and drying facilities which is rare these days, the house manager JJ is an A* host, very helpful and accommodating, any questions he is will to answer and help and offer recommendations, directions of location are not very clear especially if you arrive in the area at night,

Mr. Lee was a great host. He kept himself updated before my flight and after I landed. He even fetched us at the bus stop because of the cold weather and drove to the place. The place was neat and suitable for 2 people, I have nothing against it. It was also a comfortable experience staying there. He's very accommodating and fluent in English. No language barrier for us, even if I was with my Korean girlfriend to translate. Overall, it was a superb experience since it wasn't a hassle going to Geumho station and it was easy for us to roam the whole city. There are a lot of restaurants to around, so if you are too lazy to go to the busy districts of Seoul you can just roam the area and eat delicious Korean cuisine. I will definitely book Geumho Luxtel next year when I'll visit my girlfriend again and recommend it to my friends who are planning to visit Korea.

I’ve stayed here 3 times because of the perfect location. You can walk to Insadong and Myeongdong. The subway station is nearby. The music outside can be a little loud if you are a light sleeper, but it was no problem for us. It also has a bus stop for the shuttle bus to Incheon airport nearby so it’s perfect if you need to take the bus to the airport.
