We absolutely loved our stay! The place was easy to find and access. It is conveniently located in Luray close to the town and attractions, but also far enough away to unplug and have privacy. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit while star gazing. Would highly recommend and would book again!

Beautiful place inside and out. They warn of connection issues but I really didn’t have a problem at all. Nice fire pit area next to the cottage AND next to the river. I really wish I booked for longer. Fantastic host

This is our second stay at lazy bayse! We love this house. It is so well equipped and our kids love the golden tee, hot tub, fuse ball, and video games. The beds are all comfy and the house is stocked with everything you need. The owners are extremely responsive also!

Upon arrival we were impressed with the clean, open space. Teresa attention to detail was obvious. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were inviting and peaceful. We were able to grill out back and enjoyed the sunshine. A walk to town was delightful. The made from scratch Wild Roots cafe was delicious. Try their cinnamon rolls. The shoppers in the family enjoyed discovering a treasure at the local thrift/variety shop and the White House boutique. We plan to return for a ride on the Potomac Eagle when it’s running.

What an amazing view! Every room is perfectly decorated. Anything you could possibly need was available. We visited during a cold spell so enjoyed the indoor fireplace, complete with plenty of fire starters, seasoned logs, and s’mores fixings! Enjoyed meeting Ozzy the tortoise. Also spotted deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, and a rabbit. We had our binoculars but didn’t get them out as Ally supplied a better pair. Ally responded quickly to questions. We had a terrific anniversary and highly recommend you book here.

The house is beautiful and homey, set on a stunning landscape. A mountain ridge from the blue mountains sets to the east, with woods surrounding all other sides. It is quiet and peaceful. The perfect spot if you’re looking to go hiking in the national park, or to just have some peace and quiet. The host was wonderful and kind.

Everything was top notch, pictures don't do the location justice. The ambiance is peaceful quiet fresh air beautiful views, the house is as listed and more, You get what you paid for. Leena is an amazing person very responsive and very hospitable. Don't think twice just book you will not be disappointed.

This is a dream place. Everything was well designed with good taste on appliances, decor, furnitures, linens… You have the feeling of being in a magazine model house. You have everything you need and more! I stayed in contact with Danielle who didn’t measured efforts to quickly give any extra support that we needed. Thank you! The window view was stunning, the bathtub well cleaned, and all the kitchen utensils in great condition. We will definitely come back!

It was amazing! I loved the cabin and the views. The best part was that we didn’t have to pay any additional costs for the kayaks or indoor games. My only concern was that one of the toilets wasn't flushing properly. Overall, the experience was superb, and I would definitely want to go there again.

It’s an amazing stay, will go back again. I made it there with my front wheel drive sedan, but I would suggest going with a high clearance AWD SUV. I was lucky with the dry dirt and gravel road at the time I was there so I didnt get stuck, but I think it did hurt my car’s suspension a little bit lol Other than that, place is really cozy, comfy, peaceful, more than amazing views and really private.

Loved our stay! We were here from DC mainly to hike and relax and the space was perfect for both! Location is close to the north entrance of Shenandoah National Park which was wonderful. We cooked most meals in the unit and it was well equipped for basic meals. Beds were comfy, AC/heaters worked great, and the views were spectacular. Host was lovely and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again!

This is a perfect mountain retreat for those looking to get away for peace and quiet. The views are spectacular, especially at sunset. Tim was great with Communications and responded quickly to any questions/concerns we had. Rich, the property manager, was awesome and checked in to make sure we settled in fine our first night and was only a call away if there were any issues. You're very close to Luray and Skyline Drive. There are also so many things to do at the house if you're just looking to stay in, especially during the colder months. It was just a couples trip this time but I would definitely bring my children here. Highly recommend!

Danielle and Shannon were excellent. They communicated very well prior to and during our stay. When we got bad luck with a flat tire, Shannon went above and beyond the night before we were leaving to make sure she could help in anyway she could. We had a beautiful time at this peaceful chalet.

The nearby town is also very quiet and receptive, where it's easy to buy food and supplies. Su and her husband are amazing people and always willing to help. I can't wait to go back.
