Such a great spot if you want to be close to the center. We felt very safe and secure in the gated space, while also being surrounded by a beautiful garden.

We loved our stay at Maribel’s place. She is an excellent hosts. The pool and views were great. She was so helpful to arrange transportation for us from the airport and then greet us for a tour of the house and to answer any questions. Her family even took us to the grocery store! We loved having a full kitchen as well. One thing to note but is nothing negative about the host or their property, if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The dogs and roosters in the neighborhood get a little excited early in the morning. That’s typical for most non-city stays in Ecuador. 5 stars all around!

Nice private home with beautiful gardens. Difficult to find and set in transitional neighborhood but safe. Nice music system and terrace. Open and bright. Highly recommend.

A home to make you feel at home. The excellent location with a spectacular view we fell in love with my family of the place and undoubtedly Paul's excellent treatment, always pending.

Magical experience. Casita located in a nature with stunning views and probably best sunset view right from the terrace. 10 minutes walk to to town. Perfectly located, facing the valley instead of town therefore peaceful and very quiet. Spacious, very comfortable bed, hot water, good pressure, well equipped kitchen , good internet, working desk, huge garden. Host very friendly and helpful with recommendations. 100 meter away- space in lush gardens to practice yoga, meditation and many other kind of wellness activities. Jacuzzi in the garden big benefit and shared between two houses, fireplace. Highly recommend for short escapes or long stays:

You have the whole mountainside to yourself here!. It is very peaceful and beautiful. There are short hiking trails right on the property and the river is 5 minutes away. It is steep to get back from the river but Rowins gave me a number for a local taxi driver with 4x4 that can be used to avoid the steep climb. Everything was clean and working well, there was no hot water in the shower but it is okay when the weather is warm. The pool was under construction but hopefully that is fixed soon. Rowins was very friendly and accommodating !

Excellent place to stay and in an accessible location in Loja and Vilcabamba. A very good weather
