Family-friendly vacation rentals in Xiulin Township

What a wonderful place! If you're on a budget and want some where super clean, super comfortable, very chill and right on the most beautiful beach, in front of the incredible blue water, this is it. Even better if you have dogs travelling with you. Ours loved the stay as well - one is a cat chaser so had to be kept under control while outside, but was able to relax inside our room, and run free on the beach. The hosts are great - there to meet you and show you around, and then melt away to leave you to enjoy the peace. The house is old - traditional brick with wooden frame, but for such an old place, it's nicely decorated and kept sparkling clean. No mosquitoes, no bugs. Comfortable mattress, and the space is large enough to stretch out and relax. Bonus is the lovely courtyard with picnic tables, and of course, the beach, right out in front. Be prepared - it is right under the takeoff path of the jets, but we didn't find that a problem.

Great location, near the train station, easy access.The house is tidy and the right size.The key is that the host lady is super nice, thoughtful, helped us buy tickets to Taipei in advance, buy early every day, and provide transportation services.Calling a taxi was delayed due to our delay. The host handled it in a timely manner, reflecting the warmth and kindness of the Hualien people. Thank you very much!

The homestay is clean and there are many toys and Netflix, the children are very happy to play with, and the owner is very enthusiastic and super nice . There is a whole row of parking spaces across the street, there are not many homes around, and there is a police station next door that is super safe. I'll stay here next time in Hualien

Great location for us with a big group. 5 bedroom. Nice big common room with a big table. Some places to get food a couple blocks away. Great to have a parking spot across the street. Nice to have an access code for the front door

Great stay.The location was good.There is also plenty of space.The lack of the US and China is because the house is more historical, so the walls are thinner and you can hear the neighbors next door.But basically quiet at night! Push!

Very good environment, beautiful, spacious room, clean and comfortable wifi is fast enough. There are many streaming platforms to choose from. The owner is very kind The breakfast was amazing. The family style smells rich and delicious. Rice with a variety of small dishes, freshly cooked, freshly cut fruit, buns, corn, everything is very satisfying Pet friendly environment, big grass to run Dogs love it

It’s a nice place if you travel with pets. it’s in a port not far from 七星潭風景區。Recommend it.

Pros: It's comfortable, is the double patchwork two-story house that was popular in early Hualien for a while, grinding stone ground, has the kind of front yard and small backyard.It was relaxing to stay, especially loved the old sofa and the large table, and it was very comfortable to stay all day.Although there are mosquitoes in the outside garden, it is okay to send a mosquito coil. Disadvantages: Really to say what's bad, is the common disadvantage of the old house, the pipe line problem on the first floor.The bathroom would have a smell coming from the drain, personally felt like the host had done his best to get this resolved, but the line was not a single household issue.The water pressure is normally large, but it may also get smaller since I stayed for two days and the water pressure was different for two days.But it won't be so small, it's still good enough.

Convenient transportation is convenient location, it is convenient to all attractions.The room was clean, and the host was very helpful. It was a great experience.

Due to availability Lily actually upgraded me to a bigger seaside apartment. This review is more for that one. Very spacious 3 bed room apartment, since it is a corner unit, you have gorgeous ocean view from 2nd br which I used as office. A fully functional kitchen was very handy since I stayed 9 days this time. Lily certain makes you feel welcome and at home, she filled the fridge with all kind of food, in particularly enjoyed the home grown fruits and home made Yuzu Jam！ Lily also provided a detailed list of place I can go to eat, list of sites, and pointed me to local travel programs I participated. Many thx Lily, a great experience!

We were very happy with our room! Everything was clean and we had a nice balcony. We felt very welcome and had a great time in Hualien. The host is super friendly and gave us great suggestions for restaurants and Cafés we could visit. It was a great experience and if we ever visit Hualien again, we will come back to this Airbnb!
