Thanks for the chocolates and fresh eggs. Exactly as described. Beds very comfortable. The cottage had everything you could ever want or need. Peaceful rivers nearby, we saw a platypus. We appreciated the late checkout. Thankyou.

We stayed for a few nights over Christmas. Plenty of space for us to while away the hours. Nice spacious kitchen and dining area. There was even christmas decorations and a Christmas tree Even though its’s on Port Road it was still very quiet. Loved the outdoor shower with hot water after a brisk swim! We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home. Short walk to the beach. This home has everything - even extras like great quality beach towels and some kitchen essentials - tea, coffee, sugar, coffee pods, cooking oil, laundry powder. Packet of chocolate biscuits in the fridge. Views of the water from bedroom. Beautifully appointed. Very clean with high quality finishes. We would definitely return

What a wonderful place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at Lark's place - looking out the expansive windows to the glorious views, cooking up a lovely meal in the well-equipped kitchen and being together in an extended family group. It is truly a lovely house and we will definitely return for future stays. Lark is a great host - nothing is too difficult and she was very responsive to every approach. Our engagement with her could not have been easier.

What a stunning location! Incredibly peacful to just sit and watch the water and the wind transform through the day. We felt so welcome, the kitchen was so generouly stocked and made cooking a breeze. Thank you!

We had a lovely time at the Beach Shack - it was so comfortable and it had everything and more that you could possibly want for a holiday accomodation. Susan had provided extra treats like a block of Toblerone chocolate, and the house was extremely well equipped in all aspects, wanting for nothing. It really felt like home to relax in, rather than just an ordinary Airbnb that only had the bare essentials. We really appreciated the care Susan took with all the little extras and wide range of amenities (even a small blender to make yummy smoothies!) It’s also in a perfect location opposite the beach, and perfect for walking or bike riding, as well as swimming. We would highly recommend The Beach Shack, and hope to return again one day. We loved staying out of the way in Therese’s backyard! What a beautiful space, the kids LOVED feeding the ducks and going on an adventure. Lovely to see their space being shared and enjoyed by themselves and friends as it’s such a nice area

We had a comfortable stay and having the beach across the road was lovely. The house is well appointed with everything thought of. Spare towels and sharp kitchen knives were even provided. The house was great for the family. Though because of the stairs I would avoid if you have little kids. We enjoyed the proximity to Penguin and other local attractions (wings wildlife park was a good visit). The kids enjoyed seeing the train go past a few times a day and the beach was wonderful to explore at high and low tide. Only issue was the very slow internet which is a feature of the area but if you’re on holiday it’s good to get off the screens. Definitely recommend staying here.
