Places to stay in Wyandotte

This is the 2nd time I’ve been lucky enough to stay at Dave’s place while in Detroit for a concert & this is one of my absolute favorite BnBs of any city. The home is unique, full of history & fun- also really comfortable & easy to find. The neighborhood is safe and has the most amazing vibe. The backyard gate makes it easy to get to downtown Ferndale where you’ll find some amazing food (I had Anita’s Kitchen this time- the falafel & rice pudding were amazing), fun bars & the nicest people. The closed in balcony is my favorite part of this space- that and the vintage naughty wallpaper in the bathroom. Can’t wait to come back!

Marie’s place is super peaceful and filled with gorgeous natural light. Loved that the river was at the end of the street, really nice to walk in the evenings. The flat is spacious and comfortable for two people. The kitchen is well stocked and clean as was the bathroom. Central AC worked well when there were some hot days. Always found street parking just outside the house. Marie was easy to communicate with and asked a few times if I needed anything else which was appreciated, as well as gave a few suggestions of cafes nearby and things to do. Would happily stay here again if I’m back in Windsor!

I visit family often in this area and this was a perfect spot to stay! Will definitely be staying again and recommend to anyone needing a place in this area 😊 Friendly and walkable neighborhood and so close to all the cute Royal Oak shops and restaurants. I had zero issues while staying here and Bomfi is a great, communicative host!

This two bedroom apartment is great - especially on the east side and within the Pointes! It is clean and cozy and had just what we needed. It was nice to have our own parking spot, too! A really nice bonus is the market across the street. Had everything we needed including a small, fresh buffet of grab and go yumminess. Their rottiserie chicken was also delicious. We lived in this area many years ago and it was nice to be back. The apartment is super convenient to the city and there are many great local restaurants and bars within each of the Pointes. The drive along the shoreline of Lake St Clair is lovely. We had a relaxing stay and everything worked as it should.

Great and super walkable location. There’s 3 excellent coffee houses within 4 blocks of the house. I didn’t count the restaurants within that distance. Amtrak train station is 5 mins walk.

An Unforgettable Stay – Truly One of a Kind! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the incredible attention to detail in this Airbnb. The decor is nothing short of stunning—every corner feels like a carefully curated work of art, full of personality and charm. It’s clear the host put their heart into creating a unique and welcoming space. On top of the jaw-dropping aesthetics, the hospitality was unparalleled. The kitchen was stocked with an abundance of snacks and beverages—all complimentary! It’s such a thoughtful touch that made us feel immediately at home. The vibe of this place is unmatched. If you’re looking for a stay that’s as comfortable as it is unforgettable, this is it. We can’t recommend it enough—absolutely 5 stars!

Marlon’s place was everything we had hoped for. Very smart and well decorated. We look forward to possibly coming back in the spring or summer. We were there during a blizzard and Marlon kept access to our vehicle clear and available.
