5-Star Review: We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful, spacious house near Alma Bay! The location was perfect – just a short walk to the stunning beach, yet tucked away enough to offer complete privacy. The house was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were breathtaking, and we loved sitting on the deck enjoying the serene surroundings. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat close to Alma Bay. We can’t wait to come back!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the airconditioning worked well. With 3 bedrooms, there was plenty of room for the 5 of us. We used all of the facilities, including the pool, gym and BBQ area. The location on the Strand was just what we wanted, with short walks to the Rockpool or the waterpark. Also very close to the local Coles supermarket so we could buy groceries to prepare our own meals. 2 car parking spots in the secure parking area were allocated to our unit, which was handy as we drove up in 2 cars.

Tom’s place was in a great corner apartment so you can see the ocean and boats come in. Nice and close to the shops and cafe. A few things need a little updating but we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We had trouble connecting the internet or hot-spotting to the TV. We loved the wallabies coming to visit.

Apartment was as advertised, the corner apartments at each end of the building are more spacious than the rest of the rooms on that level, so that is a bonus. Great view of the Strand and the ocean.

We had the most enjoyable stay in Marguerites! The Cabana has literally everything we needed with Horse Shoe Bay with in a minute’s walk as well as all the other hiking trails and beaches at our doorstep. Not only was the place amazing so was Marguerite! She couldn’t not have been more welcoming and hospitable to us. Having her fresh chicken eggs and sourdough for our breakfast, letting us feed and get up close to the wallabies that wander the grounds and all her helpful suggestions! We most definitely will be back 😄

Amazing weekend away. Gloria's place is dreamy, very close to the beach and places to visit in Horseshoe bay, but secluded, quiet and with loads of flowers and birdlife. Don't forget the little butterfly forest at the back of the property, which is very special. Also, the cottage is super spacious and has everything you need and more. Very well thought through and cared for. Loved it, will be back :)

Perfect location being that its only 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. Close to great food! Perfect for a family or even just a couple who want a home away from home vibe! Perfect setting for a "wind down" holiday! Everything was clean and tidy and Andrew was fantastic to work with. Would not hesitate to book again in the future.

Had a great time at Bill’s place. Really useful location and everything I needed in the flat. Bill was really helpful and great at communicating and updating in advance of the stay which was very much appreciated. Easy to recommend as a great place to stay if you’re in Townsville.

An absolute delight. I felt at was the moment I walked in. Magnetic Island has a charm, this place only adds value to your time on whilst on the island. Great communication- great people - great memories at a gentle pace. Thank you for the opportunity to experience a calming atmosphere.
