Loved watching sunrise every morning right from the deck and the waves and amazing light of the moon on the waves at night was amazing !! Loved walking on the beach with no Hotels or buildings on the am - just a gorgeous part of the island !

I am not sure that the other reviews do a good enough job of explaining how great this place is. If you look at a map and had to pick the center of the Riverwalk, the balcony would be that center point. I honestly don't think there is a better view on the river. We looked up and down the Riverwalk, and could not find a better vantage point. Your balcony is the one everyone points to when they are walking by and say that view must be awesome. They are correct. Because of that prime location, you are a half block from everything cool & fun. Parking is easy and right next to your building. If your goal is to stay in downtown Wilmington in the center of everything, then this is your place. It is a small one bedroom condo that is expertly appointed. Very comfy bed. Large comfy couch. Kitchen is small but has a full size fridge so it has everything you need and nothing you don't. Also some great instructions on the website link they send you. Really is a great place.

Just wow!! Beautiful views!! Southport has always been on my bucket list of places to stay and explore, and it didn’t disappoint. This was a wonderful Christmas gift from my husband. Loved staying in your amazing condo. Hope to return again in the future. Thank you again.

We travel to Wilmington a few times a year to see my daughter in college. This was by far the nicest airbnb we have stayed in. Yes it can be loud at night but you are right in the middle of everything. Shopping, restaurants, bars, river walk. We had a teenager with us so we were able to walk right downstairs to go to a few bars but not be too far away from her. The balcony back deck is great too. She felt like she was at the club on Friday and Saturday nights. The sound machine in the bedroom was great to override the noise when it was time for bed. Kathleen was so friendly and helpful and communicated throughout our stay. She was even there when we arrived to make sure we knew where to park. The unit came with two parking spots which was great when my older daughter came into downtown to visit. We would love to stay at this spot again!

This was our first experience with Airbnb and we were so pleased! Syndy was incredibly helpful. She let us know about the local holiday flotilla, which was literally right across the street. She even got us an early check-in in anticipation of the traffic associated the event. Syndy responded quickly to any questions we had and just made us feel welcomed. The review provided was actually not the Salty Seahorse, but to a single home in Kure Beach, one block from the ocean. Due to an unforeseen maintenance need, Carrie Ann reached out and offered her newly acquired Kure Beach home for our upcoming stay in Wilmington. Host, Carrie Ann, was very attentive and accommodating and luckily had a location where we could stay. The home was spotless, very nicely decorated with a well stocked kitchen - plenty of everything needed! The bathroom provided toiletries and an ample supply of linens. The furniture was comfortable, including the porch table, chairs and umbrella - where we enjoyed coffee each morning. There was a slight drain issue to which we reached out to Carrie Ann and she immediately responded. The problem was quickly and thoroughly dealt with within about an hour of my reaching out to her. I would highly recommend this home and, Carrie Ann exceeded my definition of a super host or prime host! Excellent experience!

Booked this Airbnb for our wedding ceremony. Went epically. We didn't wanna leave. Luckily we live only 11 min away and will def be booking a return visit. Gerald was very easy to work with and very accommodating.

Gorgeous and well appointed houseboat in the perfect location! We had the best time! The houseboat is beautiful and in the perfect location. We had an amazing view of the battleship and the sunset from the back deck and we spent quite a bit of time there enjoying the tranquil surroundings. We loved playing cards out there and watching the boats come in and out, but also enjoyed how close it was to all that downtown Wilmington has to offer. A gorgeous stroll down the river front (which is just steps from your front door) and you are right in the heart of everything. We will definitely be back!

Even on Thanksgiving day, they were available to answer questions & solve problems. I just can't say enough about how great this place was. Highly recommend!!!

We had unforeseen circumstances that required us to book a new stay last minute late at night on a Friday. The host was responsive immediately and accommodated us. The house was clean and beautiful. It was a short drive to the beach. It was a great space to relax at whole unwinding from from the sand and sun. They provided great recommendations and we would definitely stay there again. Just Wow! This place is incredible! My wife and I have stayed in AirB&B’s all over the globe and Jodi’s home is one of if not the best we have ever visited. Her responsiveness is acute and very friendly, the area is soo relaxing and beautiful with plenty to do and the views of the inlet from everywhere in the home is breathtaking. My wife and I have decided to make this location an annual treat for ourselves….away from the kids and hustle and bustle of our everyday lives, to relax and recharge. Much thanks to Jodi and her family for sharing their “Oasis of Paradise” with us.

This home exceeded our expectations and made our beach trip even more memorable! Very roomy with a great outside space over-looking the marsh so we could watch the wildlife as we drank our coffee. The walk to be beach was close and easy. And it was perfect for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. Bob and Donna were so responsive and quick to help with any question! A definite place to return and spend more time!

We had such a relaxing and lovely stay at Chad’s condo! The location was perfect for us - we could walk out to the beach and local trails right from our door and were just minutes away from local attractions like the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, the aquarium, and 4WD beach access. The condo was very clean and beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Chad is a very responsive and thoughtful host. He welcomed us with a generous gift basket of goodies and provided great recommendations for local restaurants that did not disappoint! We highly recommend staying here if you’re planning to visit Kure Beach! Thanks for your hospitality, Chad, and helping us enjoy our weekend getaway!

We loved our stay! We had the best time. When we arrived on Friday, we didn’t move our car until we left. Everything is very walkable and the Riverwalk is gorgeous. It is far enough away from the nightlife and close enough to the historic district.

Aaron was a great host and the location over the riverwalk is ideal with walkable access to great shops and restaurants.

Great place for our short stay and close to everything! Nice quaint little apartment condo. You can walk to all the restaurants and places downtown. Really liked that there was a parking spot included which was not hard to find and just a block over. The view from the balcony was so beautiful over the water during the day and seeing the Xmas lights at night.

Every year, my wife and I go to Wilmington and stay with these condos and this time we stayed in Taryns condo and it was perfect for our anniversary trip! We are already, making plans for our spring trip back here again

This was a great place to stay! I looked up many places on CB and this was definitely the best. The view is amazing and it is right beside the drive able beach for 4WD vehicles. The Airbnb was spotless and we can’t thank Chris enough for being a great host!
