Welcome to Moss Bank Farm. Our names are Amy and Shaun and we live at the back of the farm with our cockerspaniel Ruby. We bought this old Dairy Farm in 2019 and sadly it was in a bad way. So we knocked some things down and built some things up. We are very proud of what we have done. This was the now renovated, farmhouse. The nicest Air BnB we’ve ever stayed in! We could not fault our stay at Matt and Claire’s place! My wife has been unwell for some time and we needed a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The Oaks absolutely hit the spot. Very easy check in where we actually met Matt, Claire, their lovely daughter and 2 gorgeous dogs! When we got inside it totally exceeded our expectations, the photos do not do it justice! Being a clean freak myself the oaks was cleaned to perfection and everything looks pristine, in order and ready for use. There were booklets with multiples recommendations of which we sought out (we would recommend the gorge little book shops). It was just so welcoming and relaxing, we loved the privacy of the hot tub which was immaculate, and checked daily to ensure safety. Matt and Claire were amazing hosts and we can’t wait to stay again, only for longer next time! Looking to head back over in summer! Total perfection and worth every penny!! Thanks again both of you xx

David was an excellent host! He was incredibly helpful and gave us plenty of suggestions of where to eat, and kept in touch on the days leading to our visit. The cottage is lovely - incredibly private, quaint and very comfortable. We even had chocolates on our bed and jelly babies for our little girl. Would definitely stay again!

We were thrilled with this airbnb. It was beautiful and spacious. One of our party was in a wheelchair and was able to get around downstairs with ease. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for them (which is a room in it's own right, not the lounge with sofa beds as I thought from the pictures). The downstairs bathroom was also great for them. Gemma had put out ramps for the slight step on the entry door, and a step inside approaching the lounge. She had also rolled up the rugs to make it easier for them to get around. She was proactive and always responsive to texts. There was room for our four cars outside! We often saw Gemma go past with her beautiful horses and she stopped for a chat. I can recommend this place with enthusiasm, it is a haven of peace and comfort. (You don't need a code to get into the gate even though it looks like it from the pictures, but you will get a key-box code for the front door key a day or two before you get there).

Buttercup Cottage is an absolute gem! We had a truly wonderful weekend stay here. The cottage is beautifully appointed, with everything you could possibly need—plus some thoughtful extra touches that made it feel even more special. The photos honestly don’t do it justice. The location is exceptional, offering breathtaking views you could gaze at all day, while still being conveniently close to town and scenic countryside walks. I booked the retreat for a university club holiday and it certainly did not disappoint! The hosts Derek and Janet were super helpful when booking their place and when we arrived we received the warmest of welcomes. The retreat is in immaculate condition, all the facilities and rooms were perfect and it’s so quirky. It was a peaceful and calming environment and Derek and Janet elevated our experience with their welcoming presence and made us feel at home. It is a short walk away from a lovely local pub and there are some beautiful walks to do near by. I would thoroughly recommend visiting here!

Stayed with a group of 14 friends. The house is brilliant, plenty of rooms all clean and tidy. Well stocked kitchen. Great entertainments area downstairs with the TV pool table and darts board. The house worked as a great base of operations for local outdoor activities and local pubs. Managed to fit 5 cars on the drive with some pay and display car parks near by if needed. Right next to a coop which was also useful! Highly recommended!
