Family-friendly vacation rentals in Woolwich

Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. We had a great weekend at the Brownie! The house was wonderful and just as described. We were able to enjoy the trails out back along the river as well! It snowed while we were there and the plow was there first thing in the morning.

We just returned from a wonderful winter weekend away with friends at Odessa by the Sea. From the moment we booked to the moment we left, this host and property were everything we could have hoped for. It was the perfect house for our group of 16, with a plethora of beds, a well-stocked kitchen, a wonderful hot tub...all just a short 1-minute walk to the beach. The host, Jason, was communicative all along and there were no surprises. His brother-in-law was there when we arrived to let us in and show us around, and he was there when we checked out to say goodbye and ensure our stay was everything we had expected (and probably to check in on us to ensure we left the place in one piece). Overall, no complaints. I'd highly recommend a stay at this house.

Deb was great. From helpful pre instruction arrivals to make it easier to find to greeting us and giving us a tour and helpful information. The loft was great and we loved that we were able to cook breakfast and dinner especially when it snowed. Lots of great restaurants in the area that Deb recommended. The horses were so sweet and as a horse girl, I was very excited about that. Will definitely be staying there again in the figure. Definitely would recommend Deb’s place to anyone!

Such a nice little spot if you’re looking for a relaxing evening. The location is phenomenal. Really close to Brunswick. Hot tub was just what we were looking for. No complaints here.

It was a good thing we stocked up at Hannaford in Bridgton on the way in, because once we got to Paul’s place we did not want to leave! Check in was easy and the house felt lived in. It is set back in the woods and was very quiet, peaceful and private. Perfect for our Christmas adventure. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen. We kept the wood stove burning …so cozy. We were able to use the washer and dryer which was very nice since we were there 4 nights. We used the grill and the hot tub on the snowy deck…beautiful! We loved walking the dog out in the snowy woods…lots of trails. The place was very dog friendly and my pup loved sleeping in front of the wood stove. Paul was quick to respond and we would definitely stay here again.

This home is amazing! It was perfect for our group of ten family members that were in the area to celebrate a wedding for the weekend. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating and we were so impressed with their hospitality!! So many nice touches and such a spacious, comfortable home - no detail overlooked. Enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely return.

It was the perfect location for a group of 6. Plenty of space and comfortable common area with a nice large dining table. Wonderful location and very walkable. Host was proactive with communication and very responsive. Highly recommend! Thanks for a wonderful stay and would absolutely return!

My family and I loved staying at Tanja's home, which is saying something as my family members can be quite particular! Tanja was extremely communicative and amenable to my requests for check-in and check-out. Her place is impeccable and all of us LOVED her collection of artwork and eclectic curios throughout each space--we could come back again and probably find more things we didn't notice after staying for over a week! Tanja had thought of everything, putting a lot of effort into the home's details so that I was left wanting for nothing. My family also loved listening to records throughout the day and evening. A great place for a long-term stay: I found myself saying that I was going back "home" after a long day out. Thanks so much, Tanja! We'd love to come back the next time we're in the area.

What a perfect little getaway! Andy’s place is absolutely beautiful with so many nice little touches, especially for families. My two boys, ages 6 and 2, had such a blast in the pool and in the backyard. Andy had a big bin of toys in the living room that my little guys dug into as soon as we got there, such a nice touch to make kids feel at home. There was an abundance of clean towels for the bathrooms as well as the pool. The kitchen was very well equipped so that we were able to buy groceries and cook meals and have nice, hot coffee every morning. The home itself is beautiful and well thought out with bedrooms that are private and separate from the living space. I have to add that Andy was very easy to communicate with and always available and accommodating. Check in and check out was easy and seamless. The home is in a quiet, peaceful area with other beautiful homes and lots of privacy. A wonderful few days away. Would highly recommend, especially for families.

Great 2-level apartment with terrific deck and beautiful view overlooking the river. Quiet and pretty. Owners were very responsive and the kitchen is very well stocked. Nice rustic touches and great running/walking trail along the river, just down the road. WiFi works well. Recommend upgrading the beds as they are small and not very comfortable. Otherwise a great property!

The house was great for the size of the crowd we had. All 16 of us had plenty of elbow room and a very relaxing stay. The yard is very private and the pool kept the kids busy all day. It was a wonderful experience for the family. Thank you Susan

Maryann was friendly, responsive and quick to reply. She left baked goods and coffee out each morning which was a pleasant surprise. The space was easily accessible, private and spotless. We would definitely stay here again

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. It was very peaceful and was just what we needed to getaway with our pups.
