Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Woodstock

Susanna, Sarah, and James were great co-hosts for our trip to the Catskills. We enjoyed the house, the outdoor space, and the proximity to Woodstock and other areas in the Catskills. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at the house again in the future.

We felt immediately at home in Corina's place. The kitchen was more than ample and it was well supplied with pots and pans, dishes, and even serving pieces. It was so nice to turn on the TV and NOT be asked for our personal information for Netflix etc... My 5 year old granddaughter LOVED the tree swing and she and her younger brother enjoyed the bunk bed with the hide away berth. We have a home in the area and used Corina's place for overflow. So we knew the location, walkable to the town of MIllerton and the Rail Trail there would be a plus. If our place is at capacity next holiday then we are likely to return. Thank you Corina

We were looking for a quiet family getaway while visiting family in the area - this was the perfect place. The surrounding area was gorgeous, surrounded by fall leaves with a nearby lake to take in. Robert was a generous and responsive host - would absolutely recommend!

What an amazing stay ! David was super attentive and helpful from inception . A one of a kind host . Me and my family had the please of staying in David’s beautiful home to spend the holiday of thanksgiving and what an experience it was . From the warm cozy cabin feeling , to the luxury of the heated indoor pool and sauna . This was truly a remarkable and beautiful experience for the ages. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a calm getaway in a very quite town where your only true surrounding are the beauty of nature. Thanks again to David and his team for an amazing experience , and we’ll be looking forward to staying here again in the near future . Go ski season !

Well kept clean old house and furnishings. Terrific unobstructed view of the Hudson from two of the bedrooms and living room facing East. I loved sitting by the bay window in the master bedroom with the sun shining in watching barges on the river and with views of the town of Hudson on the far side of the river. The owners stuff was in the closets and refrigerator and freezer full of her food but that did not bother me. I appreciate having condiments, salt, sugar and pepper available. There is a washer/dryer but no dishwasher and only one bathroom. Also no shades on the East facing window in the master bedroom so light streamed in at sunrise.

Beautiful home. Highly recommend booking both sides of the home for additional space during your stay!

Scott hosted my friends and I in a beautiful home on the water. We enjoyed water sport activities, even in November! We were 10 minutes away from New Paltz and 10 minutes away from hiking spots! The house was east to locate, check-in to, and Scott communicated very effectively. We were even granted late check-out! The house was very charming, well-stocked, and clean. One of my favorite touches was the “pet essentials” corner. Scott provided our pup with a bed, food bowls, and a leash - very thoughtful! His rules are clearly explained and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend a stay at Scott’s and would love to return next time I’m looking to stay in the area.

This is our second stay since March, and it’s just as great as we remembered. The place is pristine clean, and the location is perfect for easy access to the ski resort. We’ll definitely be back for our next ski trip!

This is the perfect location for a girl’s getaway. Being above a spa allows for convenient pampering, and we were pampered! We were celebrating a 60th birthday. Everyone loved our experiences at the Bodhi Spa, and downtown Hudson has so much fun that is all just a short walk away. Lots of great restaurants and lots of unique shops to enjoy! This was my third stay, and I’ll be back! The apartment is beautiful and the beds are cozy and the bathrooms are stocked with the Spa’s luxurious products! Treat yourself and your friends! ♥️

We were able to make ourselves right at home. The home is set well back from the road and quiet, but it is only 1 minute by car from a trailhead, 2 minutes from a gas station & convenience store, 4 minutes away from our daughters house, and 6 minutes from downtown! The full-size stove and refrigerator were particularly helpful because we had Thanksgiving provisions! My husband and I both enjoyed the bed and shower. The bedroom could use a reading lamp by one of the easy chairs. We're planning to come back.

Sarah’s place was exactly what we needed. It was in a great spot located within walking distance to an awesome coffee shop and great restaurants. The river was super close, which made walking my dog very pleasant. The folks in the neighborhood were super friendly, and I had many chats with them on my morning walks. The place was pristine, lots of stuff to cook with, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Overall A+ stay in Newburgh.

We so enjoyed our stay at Above Springrise. J and Zoe were super responsive, the space was perfect for our needs, and the location was exactly what we were picturing when planning our stay in the Catskills. Thanks so much for sharing your space with us!

We had a lovely stay at this charming townhouse in Hudson! The space is flooded with natural light, creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout. It's impeccably clean, with every corner thoughtfully maintained. The bright, colorful art adds so much character and personality to the space! The amenities were top-notch, with everything we needed and more, including plenty of fresh linens. The location was also perfect, close to everything Hudson has to offer. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a cozy, stylish, and comfortable getaway!

We just moved to upstate and had to stay a few nights last minute because we didn’t have power at our house (thanks NYSEG …) anyway, Anthony was quick to accept our last minute reservation and his place was the perfect apartment for us and our little baby. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from, stores to explore, and not to mention the DMV was right down the street so we were about to knock a few things off our moving to-do list. Anthony was also super flexible when it came to us staying a couple extra days. The home was clean, the bathtub was great to give baby a bath! And the apartment was in a great location. So thankful for Anthony for opening his home to us. Thank you again!!

Andrea was a great and super responsive host. We loved her apartment and it was a quick walk to downtown Beacon and our pup felt right at home. A perfect spot to explore Beacon without having to do much driving at all. Would stay again.

This condo is absolutely beautiful and comfy! We especially love the bed and pillows.

Came up for a weekend of snowboarding, 15 minutes to Hunter Mountain. Perfect apartment, really enjoyed my stay!!

Luiza was a great host. The place was very clean, and spacious. It was equipped with all the amenities and most of the equipment were new. The place felt very relaxing and comfortable. Luiza was very easy to talk to, responsive, attentive and always willing to help. Her assistance throughout the trip was very appreciated. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Cullen’s place was perfect for what we needed. We were in town for 2 nights, and we enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean, and the kitchen had everything you would need to use for meals. We would definitely book again!

Great 3rd floor walk up with Views of the mountain. The Room is in a historic building built by the Carnegy's in the 1800's if I remember correctly. It was perfect for what I needed. I got in late and they were very flexible with check out

This place works very well for us. It's our second stay, very near family in the neighborhood and we love walking along the river and the Roundout shopping down the hill. Everything is super clean, the beds and linens great, bathroom excellent, the off street parking was a plus. The nearby park and the fact it's a first floor unit is convenient especially with our 2 little dogs. We'd definitely stay there again.

I wasn’t traveling here in the best of circumstances as our son was in the hospital. It would’ve been a challenging time regardless, but there was something about how kind Dan was, how thoughtful and responsive, and how the space was exactly as described that made a difficult situation relaxing! … each time that I returned to the residence it really felt like home! I so looked forward to the steam room and Jacuzzi to the point that I forgot “hey, wait you don’t actually have these things at home” lol! If you’re thinking about booking, don’t hesitate! This place is wonderful and is ideally situated to be a springboard to many unique destinations. I’m a bit of a self-described chef so that cook’s kitchen (Dan owns a restaurant) and all of the accoutrements, supplies, books, and amenities were simply amazing! Super host Dan has left no stone unturned to ensure a fun & funky vacation. Just make sure you really read the instructions ahead of time very carefully that is key! Enjoy!
