Vacation rentals in Woodson County

Very much enjoyed the novelty, comfort, and serenity of this farm home. Very quiet, peaceful, homey and comfy with lots of amenities, including fresh homemade bread and (if the hens are not on strike) fresh farm eggs. Hosts are A+ in responsiveness and proactive with communication (an 8” snowfall came just 3 days before our arrival, and we received timely and helpful status reports about road conditions). Were in town for a February wedding this time but would love to return in the summer or fall!

We came to visit with family, and the size of my family has outgrown my parent’s house. So this was a perfect space for my family to spread out and relax after a days worth of hunting and visiting! There was a slight hiccup with the air, but Shala and Laisen were quick to respond and fix the issue. They left us delicious muffins from a local coffee shop and we just really enjoyed the beautifully redecorated space. We love it there and will 100% go back! We appreciate the very clean, comfortable, and beautifully remodeled space in a location easily accessible to visiting our family. If you are thinking about booking it, don’t hesitate. It was exactly what we hope when we said "getaway." The cozy darling cabin made one feel at home and far away all at once. Just lovely.

I was looking for an out of town country stay, and Eric's home did not disappoint. The home was beautifully appointed with everything you would want and more in a short term stay. If there is a type of cooking appliance that wasn't in that kitchen, dare I say you didn't need it. The home was spacious and the little extras I noticed really made it feel like home. There were even toys and games for families with children. I was there with my husband for work in Yates Center. We set up our office and the internet was fantastic. Seamlessly got all of our contract work done on line. The home was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was artisan soaps in the kitchen and bathrooms to use including shampoo and bath gel. There were the very basic needs in the kitchen for cooking and baking, i.e: seasonings, oils etc. All in all if and when I return to Yates Center for work I will most definitely stay at Eric's cattle farm. Perfect little getaway to be with nature. Felt right at home even if we just stayed for one night. Had all the amenities you could need. Loved everything about this place. Would come back in a heartbeat!

The bunkhouse was perfect for our overnight stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. We would definitely come back if we had the chance.

Had a wonderful experience. The home was absolutely lovely and was very well cleaned and kept. The area is quiet, private and only a few minutes walk from the lake. We had a great time and felt right at home.
