Bar none, this is the best AirBnb experience I or my husband have ever had. The cabin is as beautiful as it looks in the photos, and even though it is so close to town, it feels completely private. From the jacuzzi, we watched the most vibrant sunset through the trees, overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. Then, nightfall brought the most amazing starlit sky! We identified four planets and multiple constellations right from the comfort of the hot tub. The place was stocked with everything we could possibly need, and every detail was accounted for, from the fireplace to the window shades. Jessica was super responsive and thoughtful, anticipating our needs and going above and beyond as a hostess. I promise you will not regret booking this cabin!

Absolutely beautiful stay. It was so relaxing and the house was gorgeous. It was super private too. We also loved the fact that it was so close to town. Would definitely stay there again!

Just a quick overnight getaway with my kids and it was great! We had some good hot tub conversations and then came in to comfy furniture to cozy up and watch a movie. The cabin felt tucked away from the world, which I loved, but I drove into Mars Hill for a coffee (at Camden's) and some groceries (at Ingles), and it was so close and convenient. Michael was friendly and a great host. Good stay!

This two-story cabin was quite relaxing, exactly what I was hoping for. This place offers a luxurious view of nature through various windows and offers skylight in a renters most occupied rooms. The hot tub was private as well as majority of the spaces offered for occupancy.

This is a great little cabin in a quite area. The cabin was clean and well stocked with comfortable beds. Kelly is awesome and made sure everything went smooth and we were happy.

Felt so cozy on a snowy day! I enjoyed the layout with two private rooms on the main floor with a loft room above. There is a spiral staircase to access the loft. The restroom was on the main floor and was large. The kitchen was nicely equipped. The hot tub was clean and the dog run secure. We came in at night and got a bit lost but there is a wooden number sign at the end of the driveway. I’m still giving five stars but the only suggestion I’d make is to reinstall the door handle on the second door so we can utilize that entryway to the covered porch free of rain or snow. Would stay here again in the future.

This is a great cabin very near the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is cozy and has very comfortable beds! The kids loved staying in the loft and it was useful to have the second half-bath up there. You just have to watch your head moving around in the A-frame. :-) Many other reviews mention the water pressure. It was lower than we're used to but not bad. It just took a bit longer to wash the dishes and shower, but really only a minor inconvenience. The views and nature far outweigh any issue with that. We saw a lot of squirrels in the trees and even a small black bear in the distance one morning. If you are looking for a cozy mountain cabin feel in near Blue Ridge Parkway this one checks those boxes!

This place felt like home. Clearly there has been a lot of work and love put into this place. My wife and I came with our dog for a nice quiet weekend of reading and relaxation. Josh and Amber delivered.

Our stay at Uncle Joe's Cabin was simply amazing! Garry warmed up the cabin just prior to my arrival. While waiting for my other friends to arrive I started up some coffee and began to explore the cabin. It was beautiful, cozy and just perfect to enjoy some down time. When you step out onto the deck, the water just speaks to you and is so calming. What I really loved was reading a bit about Uncle Joe, his life, seeing family photos and Uncle Joe with that big smile playing the Banjo. Garry is an amazing host and is responsive to any questions you have. I would highly recommend you stay here. The Ladies and I are planning another trip to Uncle Joe's Cabin soon. We love it here! Garry, thank you so very much for such an amazing trip!

Nice location in a great little town right near the Appalachian Trail. Had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend.

We loved staying here with our pup! It was so relaxing and quiet but still a convenient distance to Asheville. We really enjoyed the wood stove and sitting on the balcony overlooking the river.

Beautiful location and lovely cabin! We were so thankful to our hosts for being able to accommodate us and allow us to visit our family for the holidays as WNC recovers from Helene. They were so kind and even left us cookies (+ treats for our pups)! <3

Enjoyed our honeymoon here! The host were attentive and helpful in town they have the best diner of home cooked meals. Beautiful views and a nice hot tub! Definitely will be coming back

This is a wonderfully serene, quiet space set in the beautiful landscape of Black Mountain. Extremely convenient access to Downtown Black Mountain which was greatly appreciated with all the events in town. Very close to one of my favorite music venues made for the perfect experience for those of us who love the area for the music, as well as all of the other attractions. Elisha was proactive and very responsive in terms of communication. Check in was seamless and as described in the app. Definitely one to keep on your short list if you are a frequent visitor like me.

This cabin is a peaceful retreat, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. Surrounded by towering trees and the calming sound of water, it’s perfect for unwinding and recharging. The cozy interior is well-maintained, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture and large windows showcasing stunning views. We loved the outdoor porch and the large rock by the pond for morning coffee and stargazing. The location is ideal for exploring, relaxing by the fire pit, or simply enjoying the quiet. The hosts were welcoming and quick to respond. A truly refreshing escape—we can’t wait to return!

We had an incredible experience staying at Lindsey’s home! The house was exactly as described—and even better—with all the thoughtful amenities. The outdoor patio was a highlight, offering the perfect spot to relax, take in the view, and enjoy the winter atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Sunflower Cottage. The cottage overlooked large fields and the mountains. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and driving the 15-20 mins to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. We attended a wedding at Bearwallow Mountain and this location was very convenient to the wedding events. We brought our fur friend with us and she loved exploring the area. We felt right at home at Sunflower Cottage. We can't wait to return in the future!

I have stayed with Annie and Zan in the past. They always provide a beautiful and clean room/cabin. They go above and beyond each and every time. I truly appreciate that I have found an excellent place to stay for each and every visit I take to the Asheville area.

For my first trip to Asheville, this was such a beautiful cabin to stay in! My boyfriend and I were absolutely thrilled with the view of the river, the deck, and the space this cabin offered which was perfect for us. Ceevah & David were so helpful and even provided us with such a cute custom welcome light board upon entering. We absolutely look forward to coming back in the future, and were happy to see that the hurricane didn’t affect this lovely little cabin ❤️

Stayed here for a few days. It was perfectly comfortable accommodation for multiple nights, had all the amenities we needed, and the hosts were very communicative and helpful. I would definitely stay here again - and recommend the stay to my family and friends.

We came for our annual retreat to disconnect and plan for our year ahead and wish we could have extended our stay. It felt secluded and quiet but not at all hard to get to or far from local shops. We were lucky enough to stay during a snowstorm and appreciate it all cozied up from the grand windows and indoor fireplace. We’ve already decided to make this our stay for next year’s retreat!
