Vacation rentals in Wood Islands

The airbnb of Matt & MJ is great, in terms of facilities, equipment, and decorations. We have a fun time here with our friends. The kitchen is great and the Jacuzzi is fantastic. Matt & MJ are very nice and offer many helps to us during our stay. It is a good rest to stay two nights during our trip to the eastern coast of Canada. I would have no hesitation to recommend this wonderful Airbnb to our friends if they would like to take a trip to PEI next time.

Awesome, peaceful cabin! Clean, large, and had all the needed amenities. Close to an adorable maple cafe and general store. Great location of winter activities (skating, snowshoeing, hiking). One word of warning: if you have a small 2WD car, it will struggle on the steep gravel road and driveway. Seth was very responsive and helpful when my car decided the bottom of the street was as far as it would go on check-in night.

We had an amazing 4 night stay in one of the Chalets - we didn't want to leave! The view from the upper chalets is unbelievable. Kelly was a wonderful host! She was always extremely quick to respond and answer any questions - she was even able to assist us retrieve an item that another member of our party, staying in an adjacent chalet, left behind. On the day of arrival, we were able to check-in early and enjoy the property. There was even a welcome gift with some snacks - such a nice 'added touch!' The chalets were as clean and well appointed as we had remembered from previous stays. There were lots of linens available, but there is also a washer and dryer in the chalet. Gary, the groundskeeper was so friendly and told us about some of the history of the property. On site, there is a small beach with loungers & a fire pit, a pond with a new dock and watercrafts. There's a heated pool, small basketball court, a games room and lots of space for biking. We can't wait to return!

Stayed with my family and had a wonderful week. The home feels much larger than the pictures. The outdoor space had a ton of activities to do and the views were beautiful. Perfect stay for our family and we will definitely be using this space again!

Had a wonderful week in this beautiful accommodation ideally located for easy access to many of the key sights in PEI including being less than 5 minutes from COWS creamery! We indulged in the lovely icecream nearly every day. The house is very comfortable and spacious and the back deck a really idyllic spot. The keylock meant we could come and go as we pleased and there was plenty of room for our 2 cars.

It is an extremely comfortable country home with great views. Everything is well prepared when we arrived and we feel like at home. This is one of best Airbnb homes we ever experienced and highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Dean’s property this Canada Day Weekend. He greeted us, made sure multiple times we had everything we needed for our stay, and had a well maintained unit for us. If we’re ever back in PEI, We will keep Dean’s property in mind. The outdoor space was beautiful with ample outdoor seating and a beautiful, clean hot tub.
