Beachfront vacation rentals in Wittmund

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house on the North Sea. The house and rooms were very cozy and well equipped, so we immediately felt comfortable. Especially great was that our dogs were also welcome – they could enjoy the surroundings as much as we did. The location is perfect for long walks and trips to the sea. All in all, an all-round successful experience. We will be happy to come back!

They were beautiful, quiet & relaxing days in this apartment. The view of the river from above was awesome, there was always something to watch from beautiful sunrises to ship lanterns that "hovered" through the night. The apartment is as described & shown, the surroundings have some beautiful views to offer as well as the small place, all within walking distance. Excursions to Bremen, Bremerhaven & Oldenburg are very doable. Thanks for this lovely break. In the late winter! With best regards, Claudia

The place fully complied with the description and our expectations!We arrived and the fire was already burning. :-) The cabin is very lovingly decorated! There was everything you needed in kitchen utensils and Ingela's coffee was particularly good! The communication with Ingela was excellent and she was always quick to respond. The surroundings are totally quiet and relaxing. Since the location is on the edge of the field, you can eat with a fantastic view of the distance. The nearby lake invites you to take a nice walk and its color is actually incredible! We will be happy to come back!

It was a really super nice stay. All my expectations were surpassed. Gesche is super friendly and helpful. The apartment is furnished with charm and attention to details and very clean. The location is sensational. Quiet and central. Easy to find from any direction. I can only rave and recommend.

I highly recommend the cute apartment and Alina as a host! Immediately after entering the apartment, I felt very comfortable. Everything is lovingly and modernly furnished, with everything you need for a nice vacation. Alina informed me about everything important in advance and was just super sweet and likeable. For my birthday there was even a colorful bouquet of flowers☺️. Alina again here: Thank you so much! You helped make my birthday wonderful. I'll be back for sure. ❤️

We were allowed to live in this great apartment for 10 days at the beginning of January 2024 with 2 children. Due to the fantastic view from the sofa/bed to the sea, we were able to enjoy the island feeling even more. There was a storm on a few days where we would not have seen the sea otherwise. The apartment is nicely divided and very spacious. There is a lot of storage space, so there is no chaos. The furnishings as a whole are of very high quality. The beds were made upon our arrival and towels were provided. In the kitchen there are plenty of dishes and everything you might need. It's also great that there is a washer/dryer. We are very satisfied and look forward to coming back. Thank you for the lovely holiday.

The place is highly recommended. We wanted to unwind with the dogs for a weekend, which was very successful. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and you can reach the dunes within a few minutes. Thank you so much for the nice weekend.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is just great!! From the balcony you can see the North Sea and in three minutes the beach is within walking distance. The furnishings of the apartment are excellent and are exceptionally lovingly furnished!! We were completely satisfied and will be back.

The apartment is well suited for a 3-person getaway. Because the balcony is closed, you can use it all year round. The apartment is modernly furnished. Nothing is missing here.

The apartment really has everything you need and shopping, as well as restaurants, there are several to choose from, just a few minutes by car. Accordingly, everything was super pleasant and just as we had hoped. We were really able to enjoy our stay and would be happy to come back to relax.

We were 2 adults, 2children and had a good time. The pool was the highlight, right now in winter. The living space was very cozy, the space was sufficient, even in the kitchen. There was everything you needed. Definetly recommend.

The Hosts were always friendly and easy to reach. The apartment itself was very clean and nicely furnished. The beach is less than 200m away, the nearest bus stop is within walking distance. A very nice apartment with a great location.

Cuxhaven / Sahlenburg is very nice and a dream for dog owners. The home met expectations. Was a nice and relaxing vacation time. Thanks!!!

We were there as a young family + a friend for an extended weekend and we really liked the apartment! We immediately felt comfortable, the apartment was well heated at the same time, cuddly warm upon arrival but also well ventilated. It matches the photos and really has everything you need for a weekend. Even in the smallest kitchen, we could cook and prepare delicious dishes with some imagination (and some washing up ;) ). We would still like to note two small things... in the “parent room” in front it is quite eavesdropping, as this is in the hallway, where all other guests cross-country skiing. And the wifi & internet connection are actually very poor and slow there!! Sauna and pool area downstairs are really worth it! There are delicious fish rolls at the harbor (5-10 min walk) and a delicious local bakery is also a 5-minute walk away. The nearest shopping is 10 minutes by car. Conclusion : we'd love to come back!!

We had a super nice time at Haus Knut with the Werner family. The apartment is cozily furnished, super clean and has everything you need (and much more). There were sand toys for the kids and we had two wagons and bikes available. We rented two apartments in the house together with friends and had enough space and dishes with 8 people to eat and stay together in the lower apartment. If we travel to Wangerooge again, we will be happy to come back to Haus Knut.

We had a great two weeks in a very clean and homely apartment. When there were issues with the wifi, they responded immediately. We will be back. Also, the rental service was extremely friendly. ☀️

Very good location, just over the dike on the beach or in front of the promenade! Large "living room" in the very cozy and friendly Greek restaurant. Extremely clean! Good communication.

We had a great time at the place. The house was very comfortable and clean and the location was perfect. The large kitchen/living space with windows on three sides and the house being both close to the beach and the village were definitely standout. Can’t wait to go there again and would definitely recommend.

Birgit's descriptions of the apartment fit 100%. It's a great place to explore Wilhelmshaven and have a great time at the lake. Super neat, well equipped and nicely furnished. Let a place to unwind with a direct view of the North Sea.

We were last on Wangerooge 30 years ago. It was nice to stay again. Fewo was a vacation home for us. Right on the beach. Breakfast with panoramic view to the beach and sea. Watching "Pötte" passing by. Short footpaths to shop for everyday needs. Thank you Nicole for letting us have your "sweetheart by the sea" for 2 weeks.

A very lovingly furnished cottage with great amenities and great hosts. We were completely satisfied with our stay there. Very nicely located on the canal and close to the lake. We also appreciated the covered terrace. Thank you for the nice reception with all the important information. Arrival and departure were also very straightforward. Here you could really feel at home, cozy and very clean. We are happy to recommend it!
