Cannot recommend this place highly enough!!! Page was always available and quick to respond. She takes care of her home and is invested in the experience of her guests. Hands down the best place I’ve stayed in the area. Her attention to detail and comfort are not unseen. Bravo Page! We love you and the place!

Lovely neighborhood with loads of beautiful flowers. Quiet location with great hosts! Lots of history -- town reminded us of a small Williamsburg!

We reserved Enchanted Escapes for Easter weekend to visit our son. He asked his girlfriend for her hand (and she said yes!). We met the future in-laws and had a whirlwind weekend. At the end of the day, we were exhausted and were thrilled to be in a house that was so peaceful and relaxing. It is beautifully decorated, the beds are all very comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. Best of all, any communication I had with Anishnik were responded to quickly. Enchanted Escapes was perfect for our family and we will be staying there on future visits to our son and his fiancé. Thank you for being such a great host!

We wish we’d had more time to spend on site, but we were in the area for our son’s engagement, so we didn’t get to take advantage of the many things to see and do there. The tent was adorable and clean. It was great having our own private bathroom “attached” to the side. The landscaping right in front of the tent made it so welcoming and homey, the Adirondack chairs were a perfect place to sit and enjoy our coffee each morning (there was also a fire pit with wood available to use, which we would have loved if we’d had time in the evening - there were even s’mores supplies in the tent!), and the decor in the tent was perfect. It was truly a great experience, and our family really enjoyed it! The host was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for a great stay!

We loved our stay at the cottage over an extended Easter weekend. It was very comfortable for the 4 of us (teenage son, my wife and sister-in-law). We went there to get away, enjoy nature and each other and the mission was 100% accomplished! Jennifer's gardens are beautiful and the birds sang to us each morning and evening and all day. We got a tour of their yard and gardens and saw the chickens whose eggs Jennifer shared with us. Also, we loved the art around the cottage. They have some great paintings hanging in there as well as board games and books. I take day trips to the area often to visit some wildlife areas and it was so nice to be close by and easily visit those areas for sunrise and sunset. We all really enjoyed our stay . Kitchen was well-supplied. We were comfy and happy.

Katherine was a very responsive host. Even upon arrival, she helped us through the confusion. We only stayed a night due to a teacher conference, but was the perfect location! If I am ever interested in leaving town I would most definitely check this location first.

The place was just as described. Southern charm. It was clean, the host answered all my questions and responded back quickly. If we ever come back to rocky mount I’d definitely consider staying here again.

Absolutely wonderful! Could walk everywhere we wanted to go. She was extremely responsive. The house had everything we needed even things we didn’t think about, like aluminum foil and ziploc bags. We will definitely be back.
