Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Windham

Susanna, Sarah, and James were great co-hosts for our trip to the Catskills. We enjoyed the house, the outdoor space, and the proximity to Woodstock and other areas in the Catskills. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at the house again in the future.

Cozy and practical, the Elliot house was perfect for a family stay. Our hosts made the small conveniences available in their kitchen - items such as condiments, coffee, and tea which were very comforting after a long day of travel or hiking. We also greatly appreciated and enjoyed the thoughtful s'mores goodie basket that our hosts provided. What a treat!

From booking through checkout, Julie (& Pierre) were easily the best hosts that I’ve ever rented from. Communication was friendly, helpful, and without delay. The home was perfect for our needs, exactly as described, and in such a beautiful setting… We were a group of 10 (4 adults + 6 kiddos) enjoying a weekend getaway along with skiing at Belleayre… and all hope to return to this cozy house next winter, if not sooner!

Second time we stay at Chelsey & Dominic’s place. They have a gorgeous home, with beautiful surroundings. The house is tastefully decorated, the rooms are very comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped. Both hosts are incredibly responsive and they made us feel right at home — thank you!

I had a wonderful stay at John’s and Kelly’s home. The surroundings were beautiful, the house was just lovely, and everything was sparkling clean! I hope to come back soon!

This is the first time a listing with "kid friendly" has truly fit the description! We have two littles and Neesha's home did not disappoint with safety guards, toys, books, games, crib and small beds. Everything was available down to the highchair, noise machines and monitors. Anyone who travels with kids can appreciate having all of these necessities available and ready to use. It's a whole suitcase less for the trip! The home itself is beautiful, pristine, spacious yet still very cozy. It felt like a quiet family retreat with our own jungle gym in the backyard and a fire pit for smores. The town of Kingston was not far away - we rode the Polar Express. And for more adventures, Woodstock is super close and has great shops and restaurants too. But we didn't have much desire to leave Neesha's home. We loved the chef's kitchen (fully equipped) and had many family meals in the dinning room. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful space inside & out ! Thoughtfully designed and sturdy built new house with stunning views of Catskills and cute neighbor's cows in back field. Chef's kitchen was a welcome perk -- 5 ways to make coffee, all the pots & knives, if you bake bring a muffin/loaf pan. Georgeous sunlight, strong wifi, good heat, weak water pressure but we arrived right after storm and power had been off in subzero temps so that may have affected pressure. Place has 1Q, 1K in bedrooms, sleeping on not-a-sofabed couch was not a thing. Welcomed the intense quiet, thanks for a great holiday 🙌 Thought the $50/ day cleaning surcharge was a little heavy, but it was impeccably clean so worth it -- I am severly allergic to dog dander but did not even know owners have a dog till we saw crate in the closet 😄

We have stayed here more times that I can count. Bob and Jacki's place is a great get-away. Comfortable, cozy and so clean and well stocked for a longer stay. If you see how many times I left a glowing review you will see I mean it since we keep coming back. It is our go to spot when staying in the Catskills. Thank you as always, Bob and Jacki!!

This place is fabulous! I was looking for a place for a long weekend retreat and was delighted to find this listing. The apartment is large, well appointed, and very clean. Below is a gorgeous spa/yoga center, where I treated myself to two treatments over the long weekend. All around are great restaurants and shops. I didn’t get in my car once after parking because I just wanted to soak up the serenity of this apartment, the spa below, and the historic street in Hudson. I envision returning with my husband, with friends, and alone for another personal retreat. Thank you for such a great stay!

My extended stay (4+ weeks) at John and Daniel’s was better than I could have hoped. They were superb hosts who made sure I had everything I needed while giving me privacy as well. Their apartment is immaculate, efficient, and cozy, as depicted and described! It was a wonderful place to call home while looking for a new full-time home near Hudson. I also loved that the apartment isn’t right on Warren St. but is still close enough to walk there easily. I’d recommend John and Daniel’s place to anyone whether for a weekend or a few weeks!

Orna was so welcoming and easy to communicate with. The apartment is cozy and well appointed. We were visiting our daughter and family for Thanksgiving. They recently moved to Kingston . Great location! This would not affect most people, but my 90 year “young” dad was with us, so the old fashioned tub/shower was a bit of a hazard for him. Really a gem of a place if you are traveling through or visiting loved ones in Kingston.

We had a lovely stay at J and Zoe’s place in Catskill! The apartment was bright, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. It’s located on the charming main street in town which we loved!

Our second lovely stay with Diana and Mark. Super clean place and great area. Only good things to say and can’t wait to go back.

We had a wonderful stay in Hudson at this AirBNB. Anthony is a great host. The apartment is bigger than appears in the photos. This visit to Hudson was to celebrate a 60th birthday, and was perfect for a ladies overnight. After parking the car upon arrival, we didn't use it during our stay. We walked everywhere. We will be back for sure! Highly recommend if you love to eat, drink and shop!

We had a wonderful stay at The Hudson Milner. The Bowler Hat was exactly as we expected, the location was ideal for exploring everything that Warren Street has to offer. We’d definitely book again!

This condo is absolutely beautiful and comfy! We especially love the bed and pillows.

Perfect 😊. More than worth it for the price. As a family that visits windham often this was a great deal. The place is perfect, great location and super cozy. Has all amenities you could need and was clean. Host was super easy to get in touch with and everything was so easy. Couldn’t ask for a better spot. Would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful time skiing at Hunter Mountain as Luiza's cozy ski-in/ski-out condo was perfect for our short getaway. Luiza was a fantastic host, who was exceptionally friendly, proactive, and responsive. Her recommendations were spot on. Her condo was very clean, warm, and comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a great weekend. We look forward to returning sometime in the future!

we enjoyed our stay at the cozy condo, and the accommodations made for a perfect 2 day ski trip to Hunter with ski on ski off access. self check in was easy and house instructions were clear. We would stay here again.

Cullen was an exceptional host. The space was exactly as described, with plenty of supplies. Communication was stellar. The condo had plenty of extras like clean linens and blankets, there were even additional chargers set up and toiletries if we needed. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms very clean and updated. Parking right in front. We felt safe and comfortable. This AirBnB is 5 minutes to Windham mountain and minutes from Town. Plenty of places to eat and shop. I highly recommend this Host and property. If we ever go back, we will try to re-book with Cullen.

This was the perfect location for ski lovers. There was a great bar right below the place. Suzanne was very accommodating. We arrived rather late for check in but we were greeted and given all of the instructions needed.

My daughter and I enjoyed the condo at Hunter. It was right next to a green trail. The trail was closed but we were still able to ski on/off or walk to/from the base area. The condo itself was as described and shown in photos. We would definitely stay again and recommend!!

Very comfortable and clean two bedroom apartment at an affordable price. Great if you're planning to spend time exploring Kingston and the surrounding area, which we did. It's extremely walkable to the downtown Kingston area, and a quick drive to uptown/Stockade. For hanging out indoors, there are games and the couch fits 3, but there's no TV. Darla's a wonderful host!
