Our 2nd stay at the glorious Beaumont high country homestead and this mini break was just as good, if not better than we remembered. The homestead is the perfect spot to enjoy all that Chinghee Creek has to offer - rolling hills, friendly cattle, peace and quiet, and quality family time at its best. Our kids (10 & 13) spent their days exploring and battling each other at table tennis, and we all enjoyed reading, baking, and board games. Our hosts Claire and Rod were incredibly helpful and generous during our stay, inviting us to view some recently born calves at Christmas Creek. A five star rating doesn't seem enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Me and my two friends stayed at Jenny’s place. We loved it! Jenny and Angus have created a beautiful, quirky and welcoming sanctuary for guests. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Blume next door, where Jenny provides many of the flowers and herbs from her garden. Angus was generous enough to do a sketch of us to remember our special weekend. We wished we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you Jenny and Angus for a great Airbnb experience!

Laura's place is as beautiful as it showed on the pictures. The entire home has its rustic country charm with morden and functional kitchen and bathroom. The beddings are fresh and clean. The little front verandah is very charming and full of light. The property is at a very convenient location at Boonah. We had a lovely stay with our toddler. Highly recommended!!

Ok, for those reading this review please do so knowing it is genuine, unsolicited and because I actually wanted to write a review about how wonderful our stay was. This is Melt and your host..... Melt is everything the other reviews say - yes, it's secluded, yes it's luxury, yes it's non pretentious, yes the rainshower that overlooks endless forest is magical and romantic, and yes you wake up to kangaroos hopping around in the forest to breathtaking sunrises as you sip a coffee in bed. (Hopefully made for you by your partner!) But let me talk about what is more important. The entire booking process was flawless. And attention to detail in every aspect, from HOW to actually get in, HOW to get there with clear directions, and WHO you are dealing with. A couple of hours from the hustle and bustle of Brisbane. The only thing you need to do when you arrive is unpack, smile, light the fire, and pour a relaxing glass of wine! Thankyou guys, this won't be the last time we visit!

The Romancealot cabin was more private than what we expected. Right up the very back of the property, past the other two cabins, it felt like nobody was around except for the wildlife. Such a well designed and thought out space. The bbq kitchen was absolutely perfect with a small double fridge. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was a dream with the rain head feature or a handheld option. I knew it had a skylight/window above the bed for nighttime star viewing but to our surprise if you turn all the lights off and just keep one bedside light on you’ll see what I mean when you look up. It was so funny we had the best belly laugh in ages. Plenty of usable items in the kitchen for your entire stay, even a small air fryer. The fireplace was fantastic. We loved having it on. Now, the hot tub, 10/10!!!!! Such a fantastic idea. Perfect, wonderful, relaxing, calming….. great first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The Summit walk took about 20easy mins 🥰?

We stayed at the cabin for a couple of nights with two kids and our little dog. It was perfect. Situated a short drive to a variety of things to do the cabin and it's location offered more than enough. Exploring the creek and property by day, fire by night it was more than enough to slow down and relax. It was wonderful.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having 2 toddlers in a very homey accommodation was amazing. They as well as the rest of my family felt at right at home. Location is right next to a park where my kids would go down to and have a play and my parents enjoyed the crisp morning walk by the lake which is also so close. Thank you so much for hosting my family and I. Definately reccomend staying at Kilpa Cottage.

It seems that we have rated Cara's place very well and five stars, that's because it has earned this rating. From the moment we drove in the gate we loved it. It was my wife's 70th birthday celebration and her family all arrived the following day. They were in awe as much as we were. The perfect place for a family gathering, relaxation, beautiful views. The house - everything - was amazing! There was no way anyone wanted to leave and we are already hoping for a return soon. We absolutely loved the kitchen and it was so easy to prepare a High Tea for the morning and birthday cake, and then a roast dinner at night. Cosy fire at night. Thank you so much. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful B&B, and it was an unforgettable experience! The home is spacious and perfect for large families, with plenty of comfortable beds to accommodate everyone. The wide-open spaces allowed us to relax and enjoy our time together, whether we were playing games in the living room/play area or enjoying the fresh air outside. There was even a separate 'play area' with my favourites game "pong-pong and Jenga. The decor is charming and welcoming, making it feel like a true home away from home. The host was incredibly friendly; the home had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. If you’re looking for a cozy yet spacious retreat for your family, I highly recommend this B&B! We can't wait to return!

"Nonna's Place" - a welcoming holiday home

We had a relaxing stay. We loved sitting out on the patio overlooking the bush. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were very useable. Our host was thoughtful and left fresh milk in the fridge and had a great selection of tea and coffees. Would definitely stay again. Stanthorpe has a lot to offer for tourists and the town has a relaxed 1970’s vibe.

What an incredible property. Linda and Gary as the most gracious of hosts. The house was spotless and exactly the luxurious remote escape we were after. The kitchen is well equipped for cooks and the furnishings made us feel at home. Slept wonderfully on soft beds. The outlook spectacular, wild wallabies and no neighbours to be seen. It’s a country road so be sure to be confident driving at night if you required. Definitely hope to return again.
