Beautiful custom built home in a quiet foothill setting. Probably the best stocked and equipped kitchen I have experienced at an AirBnB; fruit, snacks, and eggs were provided. Perfect location if you are simply wanting to get away and slow down for a day or two. The owners live in an adjacent building on the property and Anna met me at check-in and did a quick walk through of the house with me, which was very helpful. She was available if we had a need, but otherwise, left us to enjoy our time. Welcoming, friendly hosts and beautiful home in an ideal setting.

This is our second time to stay at this place. I am Airbnb super host myself. I highly recommend this beautiful house. It is located at a quiet neighborhood. The house is furnished with high quality furnitures and comfortable beddings. It has good enough cookwares and kitchen supplies to make proper meals. Sufficient plates, bowls, wine glasses and more to set up dinner table. The house is very clean. I will definitely stay there again whenever I am in town. In fact I already booked our third stay in coming months.

The place was very warm, welcoming and very spacious. I would definitely recommend to everyone. The place is near the boating launch which is a big plus to my group since we were on a fishing trip. Jakob's cottage was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Great location with easy access to both Calistoga and Clearlake. We didn't get to meet Jakob, but he was friendly and very clear in his communications. Would highly recommend this lovely cottage to anyone looking for a place to call home while in the area!

This is an absolutely stunning lake side home that had every amenity for families to make treasured lifetime memories. My favorite was the huge picnic table on the deck where you could have dinner and watch the sunset over the lake. Rich, is the perfect host, so flexible and responsive with anything you might need. My parents, husband and I enjoyed day trips to Lassen, fishing literally from the backyard and the beautiful scenery that surrounds this home. Quiet and peaceful, it’s the perfect place to get away from the stress of everyday life. Many thanks for sharing your home with us, we will be back!
