Such a lovely guest house! Our family loved staying here. Everything in the house is made with love and attention to detail. The place was clean, with fresh towels and sheets, a nice scent, and great refreshments. The kitchen had everything we needed. Firewood was ready, and there were clear instructions for using the fireplace. The view is stunning, and we really liked the trail map provided for exploring the area. The home was beautiful and clean. It was a short drive to town for supplies and to the lake for some fresh air. Our family loved the space to spread out for sleeping. Beds and bedding were so comfortable and the wooded setting was dark and peaceful, all of which made for restful sleep. The kids loved the game space in the basement- playing ping pong, air hockey, and on the PSII. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped for making family meals and the large dining table allowed for the 10 of us to eat together. All of this, plus we were able to enjoy all of this with our 2 dogs. Ellen was responsive to a couple of questions and needs, as well as understanding when an item was accidentally broken. The only concern was some additional rules that were not on the original listing, but were messaged a few weeks before our reservation.

Susan’s place was absolutely wonderful. I’ve always dreamed of staying somewhere peaceful and secluded—and this cabin delivered exactly that. The view was spectacular, and even though the weather wasn’t fully on our side (a mix of rain and strong winds during our two-day stay), the beauty and serenity of the place still made it a memorable trip for my daughter and me. What truly stood out was how accurate the listing was—what you see is exactly what you get. As someone who’s stayed in several Airbnbs, I really appreciated that there were no surprises. The home was just as described, and Susan was incredibly responsive and thoughtful throughout. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful space with us! We left feeling refreshed and grateful 🙏🙂

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! The house was fantastic, and we especially loved the small creek next to the property—it added a lovely touch to our stay. The outdoor TV, fire pit, and hot tub were well-maintained and perfect for relaxing evenings. The basement was a bonus. There's a pool table and plenty of activities to keep us entertained.

This was our second stay at Carolynne's cabin. We fully enjoyed our stay. It is very private and close to the lake. The cabin is clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook a great meal or you can cook in the fire pit outside. Thank you Carolynne for sharing your cabin.

The description and photos are very accurate but do not do justice to this cottage. It was absolutely perfect, we fell in love with it as soon as we walked in. You can see all the hard work and effort John and Lori put into this place for their guest. It was decorated beautifully, my husband loves all the canoes that were sitting around. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away and just relax. Thank you again John and Lori.

We occasionally come to this area to visit family, we have stayed at Jim and Perci's 3 times and have been completely satisfied every time. Wonderful stay and wonderful hosts.
