We immediately felt at home. The attention to detail was exceptional, with everything thoughtfully provided—coffee, tea, milk, water in the fridge, beach towels, and firewood. We were welcomed with compilentary wine. The house itself is rich in history and full of character. It’s spacious, with plenty of cozy corners both inside and outside. The deck offers a breathtaking ocean view. Our host, Linda, was very responsive, quickly addressing any maintenance needs that arose during our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the inverter ensured the TV and internet stayed connected during loadshedding. If additional power was needed for extra lighting, an outside generator was available. The area felt safe and secure, and we were at ease throughout our stay. It’s just a short walk to the beach and the lagoon. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the beach house. Linda is truly a super host, and we highly recommend staying here.

Maria made us feel right at home. The place is incredible, and the furniture is equally impressive. We mostly followed the recommendations they gave us. The house is situated in a very safe area, just a 5-minute walk from a restaurant and a coffee shop. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away. It’s the perfect place to stay with a baby. We used the barbecue and beach chairs. Knysna is an ideal break on the Garden Route. We would have stayed longer if we could have!

A beyond five star stay! The stay was the most comfortable I have ever had with my elderly mom who has special needs for her mobility. Owen and his support are incredible and helpful. We literally never needed for a single thing. It is comfortable, clean, well located, all the possible utilities you might need. If you are going to Knysna, you have found your dream accommodation right here!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Sunset Dunes. The house is well equipped to meet all of ones needs. The location is great and the view of the Sunset from the dunes behind the house is AMAZING! The host Minette was great, she went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable. The house is sparkling clean and lovely overall Will definitely return

The venue is beautiful designed so much space with different areas yet not huge. Host was always helpful and responded quickly. We loved the house it was a home

We enjoyed just sitting out on the patio and listening to the waves and enjoying the scenery. This is one of those places that you should linger at and stay a few extra days. our host was so friendly and welcoming, she went out of her way to make us comfortable.

Gabriel’s property is excellent. Everything we needed to spend a quiet period near the center of George. The furniture is new and the impeccable bed linen being changed weekly. We felt at home! The surroundings are very beautiful with several options for walking, including trails in one of the main parks of George. We could not have chosen a better place!

Communication with the host was very easy and the check in procedure was explained in detail prior to our arrival along with numerous other relevant bits of information and suggestions for local amenities. The property was clean and as described and as per the photographs which we appreciated. Great location near to the centre of Knysna but a short and cheap taxi ride is suggested in the evening so we had no issues getting around. I would gladly recommend Carla's place and would stay again on a return trip.

Had a wonderful stay!. Location was fantastic,close to everything we needed and easy to find. The views were absolutely stunning. The place was very nice,clea and comfortable. Would definitely recommend it. Thank you Leigh-Ann for being a great host.

Dawn is an excelent host. The communication is great and she also recommended us various attractions nearby. The house we stayed played a huge part on our trip to Knysna being so great. It's beautiful, tidy, cozy, safe. We also liked the location: close to a grocery store and only a few-minutes drive to the Waterfront and the Heads. And there's nothing better than starting the day having breakfast at the balcony looking at the lagoon.

We already knew the apartment and it was very good as always.

The loft was absolutely stunning with beautiful surroundings. Our check in was smooth with a warm welcome and we got a tour of the grounds and the bikes/kayaks that were available to use which was a really nice touch. This place is such a bargain for what you get. Would highly recommend.

Cherie is a great host - her personal touch is evidenced in her beautiful artwork, the delicious rusks and great coffee to enjoy. So friendly and relaxed. We were able to enjoy kayaking on the lagoon and taking in the beautiful surrounding. This is a great stay, highly recommended.

Tiffany’s place was a great place to stay during our time in George. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the kitchen and bathroom was stocked with everything we might need! It was easy to find and flexible check in was great. I would highly recommend!

Overall, a really nice accommodation, very clean and modern. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! It was close to all the places we wanted to go to. The only downside was that we were woken up by some dogs barking in the morning. The host provided lots of nice tea and coffee. We had a great stay.

Heather has a beautiful apartment in the most incredible setting. You couldn’t ask for a better location & proximity to the Waterfront. Heather & Jenna were super helpful and flexible with our check in & check out. We’ll be back when we return again for the next Chukka Festival.

We only had one night but could happily have stayed much longer. It is very spacious, has good beds, safe parking and wonderful views of the area while being very close to the centre. The apartment has everything you could possibly need with lots of useful extras in the bathroom and kitchen. Peter is very friendly and proactive and on hand to sort anything you should need.

Daniel was an amazing host! Knysna is beautiful but Daniel's home is not only beautiful but so welcoming. He was always available, attentive and shared so many activities and things to do. his whole family was so kind, you don't even feel out of place. I was so sad when we left. Definitely coming back!
