Cottage vacation rentals in Whitewater Region

This cottage by the lake was perfect for a winter weekend. Cottage had everything we needed, including a well stocked kitchen and plenty of space to lounge in. The area is beautiful and the view of the shimmering waters of the lake was magical. Would gladly be back.

it was such a a cute little cabin to stay in for a small retreat from the city. the forest made it pretty private and sitting in the hot tub was beautiful. we would definitely come again if needed a few days away to catch up with friends!

If you are looking for a place to relax at for a few days this is the perfect spot. The hot tub was very enjoyable and the entire house was very clean overall. Only down side was the kayaks and paddle boat were put away for the season, overall great stay.

Sanja is great. Always answering my questions and ready to help me and my friends to have a great time at her chalet. Even the neighbors were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a lot the hot tub and had a great time at her chalet. We will come back for sure next summer.

We had a lovely time staying at Lorie’s. The cottage was beyond our expectations, exceptional really. The communication and instructions were clear as could be. There was a large amount of snow, we used 4x4 in our pickup truck to access the driveway, and had no problem. We would be happy to visit again

We loved our stay at Eliane’s! It was just as pictured, and even though we weren’t there in the summer to enjoy the beach, the view and sunrises were stunning! To be enjoyed from the hot tub or snuggled up inside. Nice quiet little town, with lots of walking trails walkable from the cottage.

This was a really nice place Marcin was very helpful and welcoming this spot was the perfect fall getaway with hot tub and steam room we will definitely book again !!! Great experience with a great host !!!

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

My time at the Kate and Matt’s was amazing - from the most beautiful sunrises over the water viewed from the rocking chair in the living room with a cup of coffee, to exploring this quiet lake by kayak, to walks through the bush, to cozy evenings by the fire (inside and out), and nights on the dock mesmerized by the starry night sky - this place is truly a “slice of heaven”. The cabin has everything I needed and was a home away from home. Kate and Matt are lovely and super responsive. Feel very fortunate they open their peaceful space up for others to enjoy. Look forward to going back again.

This is a beautiful spot, quite private and spacious! We loved the view from the big windows and porches! I hope we can return some time for another enjoyable vacation.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely, peaceful place. Perfect view out on the lake from big, bright windows. All the amenities you need indoors and out. We spent most of our time in and by the water - the dock and the beach area are amazing, between the many watercraft to choose from, the floating island, and the lounge chairs to relax and take in the calm of the lake and the loons calling. Beautiful sunrises, and nights enjoying the stars around the campfire. Thank you for sharing your lovely spot with us!

This has got to be one of the best vacations I’ve had. Insung’s place was very peaceful and quiet, while still having a lot of things to do. The house was very clean, kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable. My partner and I rented a boat from a local outfitter but unfortunately didn’t catch any fish, I’m assuming it’s because of the season. There is also a small, private shallow “beach” by the dock which can be perfect for kids. The gazebo is lovely for the times you want to be outside but not with the bugs! Overall, Insung’s place was a dream! I will definitely be back with my family! Thank you, Insung!

Jennifer was very responsive , great location , house could be more clean and it should be when we are paying a good cleaning fee . Bed mattresses are not good . Almost every one has backache . Overall our stay was good but if the place but more cleaner than it would have been perfect ..

Our group of 10 had a wonderful stay at Glenn's beautiful cottages. We were able to sleep 5 in each cottage with plenty of beds to spare. We enjoyed canoeing, swimming in the lake, grilling on the barbecue, and staying in playing board games when it rained. It would have been nice to have the hot tubs active during the rain, but we made do with the indoor jacuzzi tub! Glenn was super helpful, informative, and responsive which we all appreciated. And we loved that this was one of the only places around with a large enough kitchen table to seat everyone for a meal! Overall a very pleasant stay, highly recommended.

This cottage was the absolute perfect place to enjoy some down time as a family! The cottage was clean, well equipped and located on a beautiful, quiet beach. Everything we needed was provided and more! We enjoyed playing soccer on the large sandy beach, swimming, fishing, board games, campfires and watching movies in the evening. The kids and parents loved it!

My girls and I rented this place for a christmas girls gathering of cooking food, playing games, and watching movies. It was the PERFECT spot to do that. The place was soo comfy, beautiful and there were soo many personal touches that made it extra special. From the selection of coffee and board games to the hand written note and gifted chocolates, to the very quick responses. The sweetest host ever. We all said we will definitely be back next year! & perfect for a close by place to host. Highly recommend!

We had the best weekend! The house is perfect. Fully equipped with everything you could need and decorated so lovely- I can’t think of anything I’d want different. The location is idyllic- peaceful, beautiful, yet very convenient to get to lovely local trails. Peter was incredibly friendly and quick to respond. I hope we get an opportunity to return as we would 100% recommend it!

This was our first time staying here and using Airbnb. We had a great stay and would definitely come back again to explore the area more! Everything in the home is comfy and cozy!

This gem tucked on the Madawaska River is ideal for many reasons: - the cabin is situated on a small hill overlooking the flowing river, it is peaceful and beautiful, cosy and cute. - it is located in an area that is great for those looking for a little wanderlust/adventure close by - Tooey's Lake & Lake Clear were the nearby lakes that were great for day trips! - and the cabin itself is very clean, well equipped for making meals, and super comfortable - the mattresses were amazing, plush and comfortable. Luka is a terrific host, attentive, quickly responsive, and added some nice touches to our stay (provided wood for our fires, and dropped off some extra essentials that we needed). Keep in mind to bring your linens, and that swimming is not ideal for those with mobility issues, although, for those more experienced swimmers, it is a great spot to enjoy the water. We will be back, thanks Luka! 5 Stars all around.

My wife and I enjoyed another wonderful weekend and this perfect cozy cottage. All aspects of this property are top notch from the location to the construction. Every detail has been thoughtfully addressed to create a comfortable home away from home. Chris and David are the ultimate hosts and always go above and beyond to ensure that we have the best vacation possible. Somehow they were even able to provide beautiful warm sunny weather for our weekend. :)
