The actual owner of the Airbnb is incredibly helpful and responsive — the system he uses to manage is easy and quick, as well. The location is perfect if you’re wanting to hit the slopes and it’s a lot bigger inside than you’d think!

Trey’s place hit all the marks for what I needed - clean, cozy, comfy, and affordable. Bonus points for an amazing loose leaf tea selection, gorgeous mountain views at sunrise and sunset, and close to everything I wanted to do in the area. (Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster were on my list - did them all in a day.) All instructions were clear and easy, and I had everything I needed for an enjoyable weekend away in the NC mountains. Go stay here and support western NC!! I hope to come back again soon :)

The instructions given by the host were clear and helpful. The staff at sugar mountain were also super friendly and helpful. I was sooooo glad we got to park at the building and didn’t have to mess with catching a shuttle and all :) so as the helpful notes the hosts sent says, it’s worth asking if you can park behind the building. The place was just as described. Really appreciated the standing fan that was provided. I also LOVED that they provided pool towels, most places don’t do that and that was such a blessing with little ones who love the pool. We also thought the bed was comfy. We hope to come back!

We loved this place! Amazing views, beautiful house, loved having a fire pit outside and a fireplace inside, and just a few minutes from Blowing Rock. We did some nice hikes and hit the slopes a day for snow skiing. Thank you!

Beautiful location and the cabin was gorgeous. Love the Christmas decor and it felt like we were right at home. Lots of games and things for the children to do. They loved it.

This cabin was absolutely gorgeous. I wish we could have spent more than one night. The decor was fantastic and the "mush-room" as my boys named it, is perhaps the coolest bedroom ever. My boys loved the swing outside ( as did I), the firepit where we made smores w the supplies from the welcome basket Ian provided, and we made dinner on the charcoal BBQ. We used the games, puzzles and record player, as well as the coffee/ hot chocolate machine! We had a great night's sleep as well. Absolutely beautiful, can't wait to come back for a longer stay.

The place was great and easily accessible to the town (food/shops) and very close and easy to get to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. Well stocked kitchen for utensils and kitchenware. Very comfortable for a family of four with dogs. Great host also. The heating is by room, thus we spent a cold night before we realized that. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a great ski week staying at Daniels condo by Beech Mtn. Condo is on lower parking and easy in and out to resort and surrounding amenities. Daniel was clear with directions and with door key pad check in was a breeze. We will be back! Erik
