Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Whitestone

We stayed at Paula's place for a couple of days to celebrate my daughter's 4th birthday. The kids had a lot of fun playing with the goats and hens. It was a peaceful stay and the place felt homely and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again if we were in town.

My family of five had a wonderful week at this home in Huntsville. We loved being so close to downtown and the park and playground. The house itself was well stocked with linens, kitchen supplies, and even games and books for kids. Would highly recommend!

Very cozy and relaxing for the two of us and our golden retriever. Large, fenced-in backyard with deck was great for the pup. We were both oddly impressed with the blinds and the vaccuum. Had everything we wud need and then some.

Great place to stay with friends and family. All amenities are nearby, great backyard to enjoy sun, friendly host and great place to stay! Will definitely stay again.

We came in from Alberta for a wedding in the area, and stayed at Tara’s place. It was much larger than we had imagined, and the property was just gorgeous! We would absolutely book with Tara again if we were back in the area.

Fantastic hosts and a beautiful place to stay. Hosts were very informative, responsive and flexible. Home was clean and exactly as depicted in the photos. The location is perfect for a relaxing get away with lots to do in the surrounding area. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend.

It was more then we expected. Really nice home with everything we needed. It’s quiet and clean. Nice place to relax. We also enjoyed the fireplace because this week-end was cold. The view of the lake is wonderful. It must be a nice beach to swim in the lake in the summer. We loved North bay. They have many beautiful places to take a walk and many other things to do. Many restaurants also. We had a wonderful weekend. Thanks to Lenka for your nice home and your help to make that moment a special one.

Jacqui & Steve’s place is the best! It’s quiet, clean, has comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, gorgeous property with direct access to forest trails, beautiful artwork inside and out and gracious & friendly hosts. :-) They even provide breakfast groceries for guests and share their veggie garden. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends. Thanks Steve and Jacqui for hosting us.

Kevin and Monika are exceptional hosts. The rooms were clean and the house is spacious enough to accommodate groups comfortably. We especially appreciated that it's pet-friendly, with an enclosed fence allowing our corgi, Hiro, to roam freely without a leash. They showed so much love for Hiro! (I’m pretty sure he’d rather stay with them than come home with us! Lol) When our cars unexpectedly wouldn't start, Kevin and Monika were there without hesitation, offering help and generously allowing us to extend our stay. Their easygoing + genuine conversation truly elevated our experience. They consistently went above and beyond, ensuring our time with them was not just comfortable but genuinely enjoyable. They also reply ON TIME and are incredibly easy to deal with—kind and wonderful people through and through. Thank you, Kevin and Monika, for everything! We're already looking forward to rebooking with you for our next trip ☀️

Had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend thanks to Amanda. She was incredible, making a trek out to help us when I stupidly blew a fuse. Our family absolutely loved their cottage. Will definitely come back.

My family had a great time at Mark & Betty’s cottage. It was spotless clean, tastefully decorated, ideally located overlooking a valley and a lake, and fully equipped with amenities, bath towels, fireplace logs , and books and toys for kids. Everyone has something they liked, to name a few, enjoying sunrise in bed, watching birds feeding from the bird feeder, reading by the window overlooking the valley and sleighing on the ski slopes. Mark and Betty were super responsive and friendly, they provided clear instructions and suggestions on things to do locally. Everything went perfectly, this will be an unforgettable Christmas for us!

Our small group had a great stay. Specially the kids . Overall , it's worth staying . Wish we could have longer time . We will definitely book again.

I had a great time staying at Agnis’s place. Whenever I had any questions I always got a prompt and immediate response. She was very understanding and flexible when it came to checking out as there was a massive snow storm the night before and the area/ roads were not yet plowed so she allowed us to do a late check out. Her place was beautiful, cozy, felt right at home. I would stay here again !

We had a wonderful stay! Abdul was extremely friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The place was well stocked with all amenities and the pool and hot tub were sparkling clean. There was a huge snowstorm the day we were supposed to check in so Abdul allowed us to switch our booking to come a day later when the roads were cleared. We greatly appreciated his flexibility and we were able to enjoy our time away to the fullest. We will definitely be back!

There aren’t words to describe how incredible our stay at your family cottage in Dorset was. This is our 17th year doing family cottage getaways and I can honestly say that this was by far the best. Nobody wanted the trip to end…From the gorgeous and blissful lake to the new dock filled with Muskoka chairs and enough kayaks that we went on our first ever family kayak expedition, to the neat little fire pit, to the indoor pool and the multitude of games and even a karaoke machine which was great for evenings and rainy days. The cottage was prepared with everything and anything we could have needed including the much appreciated extras like duck food for the kids to feed the duck family that frequented the dock. The cottage was spacious with enough room for everyone to sleep and live comfortably, and beautifully decorated and we truly felt that it was a home away from home. The Gerbers are hosts extraordinaire and we hope that we can return again for another wonderful family vacation!

We had a great stay at Marilyn's place. Every room was completely spotless and it was just as described in the listing. The cottage was a very comfortable size for four people, with lots of parking, and we enjoyed the fire pit out in the back. The kitchen was fully stocked and clean. We also really appreciated Marilyn's flexibility with our check-in and check-out time. Overall, Marilyn was very responsive and a pleasure to speak to!

Kerry's place was fantastic! One important thing to note is that guests need to provide their own linens, pillows, towels, and toilet paper/paper towels. This information is found in the "About the Space" section, but it’s crucial for guests to know, especially since we arrived at night when it was quite cold and hadn’t brought any supplies. I recommend that this information be included in the welcome message when a guest books the property to avoid similar situations. On the day we arrived, the heater stopped working, but Kerry was quick to assist us and sent an electrician to address the issue. Fortunately, there is a chimney in the cottage, and once we lit it, the space became warm and cozy. As first-time cottage visitors, it truly felt like an adventure. The place is magical, and Kerry is an outstanding host. Thank you for everything!

The view is really impressive! The fact that the fire pit is right next to the lake made the atmosphere even more pleasant! There is a canoe and a kayak there, which guaranteed our fun even on a cold autumn day. In the afternoon we had a barbecue and then enjoyed a hot tub, which guaranteed relaxation at the end of the day! The house is beautiful inside, the rooms are simple but with comfortable mattresses, only the pillow was a little too firm, but nothing that kept us awake at night! In the kitchen we had all the utensils, except that some were stored dirty. The stove works but is a little weak, if you are planning on cooking there, just be patient and everything will be ready! Just one point, but this is the house rule and we already knew it, check-in is very late, only at 4pm and check-out has to be exactly at 11am. Consider getting up early. Overall we had a great stay, we enjoyed nature, watched the stars at night and left there refreshed to face the city routine again! Thanks!!

Adam’s spot is great! It’s perfect for relaxation and to be surrounded by nature. The hosts themselves are fantastic to communicate with and very helpful. The cottage is setup for a comfortable stay, and Has ample space. Don’t hesitate to book, its well worth it :)

Quiet place Stayed while going to school for 8 weeks. Would definitely recommend

Although our stay was short, it simply could not have gone any better. Ron is a very kind and considerate host, and goes out of his way to make his guests feel comfortable. He even offered to show us nearby trails (which are breathtaking by the way). I loved hearing his stories and can tell he is obviously a genuine person. Property is well-maintained, quaint and idyllic. Definitely recommending him to my friends.

A beautiful and peaceful location - right on the lake and with lots of amenities. The place was super comfortable and had everything you could possibly need - we’d definitely come back any chance we get!
