Very welcoming and cozy. Well taken care of and nicely kept. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and relaxing. Perfect walking distance to venue we were in town to visit. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Great place for a quiet getaway! We could go for long walks in a beautiful area! Very clean, great linens, and parking were perfect.

Home is beautiful and very updated. There is one large Master with a King Bed and Single Bed which was perfect for us. There is an additional master with a Full Bed on the other side of the house. Large open concept kitchen/dining/living room. Property is on a dirt road that is somewhat bumpy so keep in mind if you have a small car. We have SUV’s and a huge moving truck so the huge dirt lot was perfect for us. Very pet friendly as well! Would absolutely stay here again. We loved it!

I came here to celebrate my partners birthday and it was the best choice I made. I was going for something comfy but also very family friendly and it exceeded our expectations. It was a very relaxing get away from the city as well as very adventurous. Whenever we had any questions they were always answered right away. Very good places to go to around the area and going to the lake was one of the most peaceful things we went to. I would totally recommend staying here especially if you have little ones. We enjoyed it so much we would love to come back again soon.

I highly recommend staying here! Not only was the host, friendly and responsive, but overall the atmosphere of the home was peaceful and enjoyable. I'm returning guest, last time it was under a different owner, it's great to see that this house is still available to enjoy in the peace and simplicity of nature. The new owners, John and his wife, have taken amazing care of the home, they added some new things to the house while also keeping the original. I definitely plan to be back more.

Penny was an amazing host! Anytime we had an issue she would help us out immediately and get us whatever we needed. The cabin was nicely decorated and the hot tub was also a perfect addition. She also provided clear directions on how to get to the cabin. We had a fun and relaxing weekend staying at the cabin!

Monte’s place is my new favorite in the White Mountains. Very comfortable and convenient location. The yard was perfect for the dogs. We felt right at home. I actually booked it again before leaving. Looking forward to my next trip to Monte’s and Lakeside!
