Family-friendly vacation rentals in Wheeland Settlement

Ana's place was clean, spacious, and well equipped. We really appreciated having some beach equipment (small cooler, umbrella, beach chairs), and the resort's paddle boards and kayaks. The pool is great, the area is quiet and peaceful, and we felt like we had a private beach!! Of note, there was no laundry detergent and there is quite a bit of sea grass in the water. You can walk a little ways down and avoid it, or keep going and find the national park with some cool sights and beaches. Definitely need a rental car, and groceries here. Was perfect for our family, who like to avoid the heavy touristy areas and really explore the location, not just sit on the beach the whole time.

Great location! Turtle Cove had great restaurants especially SharkBite that was reasonably priced and if you are lucky can see the shark swim by while eating - however our favourite was Smiths Reef (walking distance) it was never crowded and a family of turtles frequent the spot - My family enjoyed snorkelling, swimming and relaxing.

Robin and Donna are excellent hosts, who went above and beyond to exceed our expectations! The property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, which is exactly what we where looking for only a 2 min drive from Grace Bay beach and the city center, with the infamous CoCo Bistro restaurant right around the corner from our villa. Robins Villa is beautifully laid out, very spacious and immaculately clean with a detailed decorative touch in every room to make it feel all the more warm and welcoming. Thanks guys for everything!!! We had an amazing stay and hope to see you again soon!

This is a hidden gem. If you want to unplug and get away, then this is your place. You don't have to leave if you don't want to, this place has everything you need. Grace bay is a short drive also if you want to get out.

Suzi’s place was perfect for my finance and me. Location is close to a ton of places drivable within 10 mins or less. Definitely rent a car to get to know this beautiful island. Place was clean, had tons of towels, beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler. Pool and hot tub are great touch as well! This place is an A+++

Had one minor hiccup which was self induced, however host was very responsive. Clear instructions and clean apartment. Would recommend to anyone.

Our stay at Megan’s place was phenomenal. The place is gorgeous, and so close to the beaches and shopping areas. Being super close to the pools and hot tub at the resort was also a great perk. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Allison's place was fantastic and was exactly what we were expecting. Located a short drive from everything, but it was still secluded and enough off the beaten path to feel special and private. Clean and comfortable, it was a great place to spend a week.

Felipe was an absolutely wonderful host! He was extremely responsive and has an absolutely wonderful place. It was clean and contained every amenity that is needed. He even allowed us to drop our bags before check in time. We felt completely safe at the property. Felipe’s Airbnb allowed for us to have an affordable stay while still enjoying the beautiful island. The location for the place is perfect and only 20 mins away from all the main spots. Felipe even recommended us a jetski guide who was AMAZING and affordable. Don’t look further and book this Airbnb if you want an affordable and nice stay on this beautiful island 😌

Our family just had an incredible experience in Provo thanks to Katherine. Comfortable beds, A/C, WiFi, etc. Her knowledge of the island was so helpful! The notebook she provided with where to go and where to eat was GOLD. She had all the snorkeling, kayaking & paddle boarding and gear we needed & more! Her JEEP was great for getting to some of the hard to access beaches (Malcolm, Northwest Point, etc.) Her response time was excellent and she provided us with great transportation to & from the airport. Her home is centrally located on the island so everything was close and accessible. Our 12 & 14yr old boys had a blast! Easily our families best getaway-SO many little adventures. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!

10/10 for real everything was close by or within walking distance. The place was quiet and clean i would definitely book this again 100% and Yoshi was very accommodating and understanding we had a blast in Turks after staying their I WANT A CONDO lol

We have been to this island 3 other times and chose this part of the island to stay this time. We rented one of Katherine’s vehicles which was very convenient and she arranged rides to and from the airport. We enjoyed using the kayaks provided and exploring the canal behind the house! This is a very peaceful location and this cottage was perfect for the two of us. Her assistant, Josie, is very sweet and met us at the cottage with delicious rum punch. She has a wonderful guide that is very helpful, especially if this is your first visit to the island!

This is a wonderful place to stay on the island! It's a little out of the way compared to the resorts, and it takes some time to figure out how to get to places, but it's so well worth it. The place is spacious and comfortable, and the island is small enough that it's easy to get anywhere by car. Highly recommend! I hope to stay here again.

The apartment was very comfortable for our family of 3 and we really enjoyed staying in a more residential area. Kel is a perfect host and was super responsive to any questions we had. We loved having access to the communal pool and seeing some of the other folks living (or staying) in the housing community. It is a little tricky to find, so definitely follow Kel's directions vs. relying on your GPS. I would say prepare for mosquitos. The apartment is well-sealed and has a clever magnetic screen on the front door, and we saw only a few insects inside. However, the mosquitos in TIC are tiny and they somehow manage to get in anyway, as the more sensitive members of our group learned. This may vary by season--our stay was in April.

We had a wonderful time staying at Casa de Isle! Five adults had plenty of room and never felt cramped. Dan and Debbie are great hosts; always ready to offer advice or suggestions when asked, but allow guests all the privacy and space needed! The home is clean, comfortable and well-stocked. Cooked several meals in the kitchen and on the grill- had all the essential tools! The pool deck is where we spent much time relaxing, having morning coffee, just enjoying the surroundings. We loved our stay and getting to know Dan and Debbie. Hope to cross paths again! Thank you for a memorable, special, family vacation!

This place is magical. Celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday. It was private and peaceful. We wanted to disconnect from the everyday routine. We definitely enjoyed the villa. The pool was perfect! We will definitely come back again. Thank you White Villa!

We had 2 families at Erin’s place for the week. 4 adults and 4 kids (11-13year olds). The place accommodated everyone super comfortably. The location was incredible! Walking distance to beach, shops, grocery, restaurants etc.. I feel the need to mention that we all felt safe the whole time, even walking at night. We rented a car and explored other beaches around the island with short day trips, but the Grace Bay beach (probably 5-10 min walk) was awesome. The kitchen amenities were perfect as we cooked a lot. Grill was clean and worked great too. The huge outdoor screen porch was a favorite for hanging in the morning and night time too. If you are thinking about Erin’s place, DO IT! Fantastic vacation all around!

Stay was great! Really close to the beach, AC, provided beach towels and other useful amenities like sunscreen, a cooler, and chairs. They provided a bunch of recommendations and super communicative!

We had a great time! Taylor Bay is just beautiful and we were only a few steps away. The house is really cute and has lots of amenities. The seperate master suite and outdoor shower were really cool! The screened in area was a really nice place for hanging out at night. Dylan was very helpful and answered all of my questions prior to the trip. Once on the island Thashena was quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! There were seven of us and we were celebrating as a family. The privacy of the bedrooms was a good complement to the spacious common spaces indoors and out. With 6 adults in their 30's and one 75 year old , we all were able to both be together and have some private time in our rooms. Our host was incredibly generous and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Her beautiful home was spotless, and the rooms were comfortable—everything we could have hoped for during our trip. What truly set this experience apart was her kindness and attentiveness. She went above and beyond to recommend amazing places to eat and unique beaches to visit, all tailored to our interests. Her suggestions were spot-on and helped us make the most of our time. We were not a night life group, but very nature oriented. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place with a host who truly cares about your experience, this is it. We can’t recommend her and her home enough!

Our visit was perfect. Our host Judy was very friendly, helpful and quick to respond. The condo is immaculate and has all the extras we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed morning coffee and tea on the dock by the canal and evening swims in the pool. The kitchen is set up well and the patio has a brand new grill. Walking distance to several great restaurants. The Sharkbite Bar & Grille was a highlight for us. Go after dark and watch the lemon sharks cruise by while you eat a blackened grouper sandwich. Gelato right across the street from the condo! Beach access at Smith’s Reef is a five minute walk with great snorkeling. A five minute drive down Lower Bight Road gets you to the resort area and the busier Grace Bay beaches. You can reach most destinations with a 15 minute drive, including gorgeous beaches at Sapodilla Bay and Taylor Bay.
