Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Wheaton-Glenmont

Just checked out yesterday We had an amazing experience. Seven us stayed here and we all had plenty of space. Hosts were great and accommodating to all of our needs. Amazing location, seems like all touristy sites were 10 minutes away. On top of being in a great location, the home was an a cute and safe residential neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again if we can.

This space was great for 7 people and 2 dogs! Plenty of space and never a moment where I felt crammed. The basement is a huge space and great for energetic kids or dogs. The backyard was not entirely fenced for those that have dogs that may like to try to escape, but was fenced for about 90% of the yard. Location was great, typically a 25 minute drive to DC for us and was close to the MGM casino near by. Definitely a great place to stay!

Tmeila very kind, considerate and accommodating as we where in for my daughters wedding. The listing was exactly as described. She was rapidly responsive on two questions.

Terrific hosts and great place to stay!

Tyler was accommodating with our early check in request as we were in town for a funeral at Arlington National cemetery. Proximity to metro,restaurants and cemetery was perfect. House was great for our two families and gave us a place where we could gather and visit. It’s very comfortable and well appointed!

The Lights of Hope house was perfect for our needs. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner there for about 20 family members. It had plenty of space to accommodate everyone for dinner and for people to spread out. Although only about 10 people spent the night, it had enough rooms and beds for many more. We were also pleased to know that all proceeds go to a charitable cause to benefit inner-city children and families. We will definitely consider reserving the house again in the future.

Such a cute place. Cozy, clean, comfortable. Gorgeous views of the water. Lots to do nearby. The steps up to the bedrooms are steep and there isn't a handrail - something to consider but we managed fine. Love that there was parking for our vehicles. Would stay again.

I can't say enough about this space. It's in a great neighborhood, close to the train and easy to navigate. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. (They allowed me to drop off my bag before check in.) The space itself is adorable, super clean and very comfy. I would 100% stay here again.

Courtney was a wonderful hostess, providing us with local recommendations and remaining super responsive throughout our stay! The place was super comfortable and cosy, and in a very quaint and safe neighborhood. The nearest metro was close, which was perfect for us as we wanted to stay a little out of the city. I’d totally recommend staying at Courtney’s place if you’re ever in DC and want a great stay! Next time, we’ll be visiting the zoo.

This apartment did suit a big family like ours with teenagers. Lovely kitchen and TV area. Yes, you do hear the owners from above but it was totally ok.

My husband, young adult son, and I stayed at Katherine’s place for six nights while we were visiting our daughter in D.C. over Thanksgiving. It was perfect for the three of us. The space is very comfortable with lots of personal touches. I have to mention the shower. There was always plenty of hot water and the water pressure was great. It really stood out compared to many places we have stayed. The neighborhood is lovely too. My son enjoyed running in Rock Creek Park, which is very nearby. Kathleen couldn’t have been kinder, and was very quick with communication. We would love to stay here again, and highly recommend to others!

It was a great stay! I loved the cool little electric stove and I like how the place was very close to my job. The apartment was cozy, spacious, and overall good! I would definitely stay here again!

Kelly’s listing lives up to the great reviews. Didn’t get to meet her due to the holiday but the house manual was very clear and comprehensive. Check -in and check-out was a breeze. Terrific location, very clean, quiet historic neighborhood, comfortable beds, and everything you need for a pleasant stay close in to the District. Parking on the street was a bit tight at times though, but we usually found a space and used the permit she gave us. Will be our go-to when we visit the District again. Thanks, Kelly!

Loved Ben’s place: full of extras (shampoos, coffee and sugar, large washer: dryer, etc). Ben replied to questions promptly. The Logan Circle neighborhood is full of friendly folk who helped with directions. I did a lot Of walking to admire all the Victorian homes — including Ben’s 1895 home. I would definitely stay there again!

Jessica’s place was spacious and made us feel at home. The master suite was larger than most hotel rooms! The coffee was especially appreciated.

Mark’s condo is very comfortable, with lots of lights, working space, and outlets. The location is convenient to the Metro and groceries and restaurants. The neighborhood is very walkable and there are several nearby parks. Here’s what’s great: Mark texted me before we left and when we arrived, to make sure that I located the entrance, free garage parking, and keys. The beds are very comfortable; the kitchen is narrow and fully kitted. Thoughtful amenities include laundry & dishwasher detergent, lots of extra towels, down blanket, a bathrobe, and a medicine cabinet full of travel size shampoo, soap, razor, toothpaste. I recommend Mark’s place.

We love staying at The Daisy every year we come to visit our grandchildren. They love it, too. It's fun to have them over for Pizza. It just feels so warm and homey and close to our son's house. Clean space located in a very quiet neighborhood. Willie is a quick and responsive host. If you are a light sleeper, be advised that you can hear the tenants upstairs walk around. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay.
