We absolutely LOVED our stay and having stayed at quite a few places in the area before, I can say that it was the best accommodation we have experienced so far. The apartment was absolutely spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, had a spacious bathroom with a full laundry, a perfectly equipped kitchen. The bedding was so comfortable, I wished I could stay for a few more nights to enjoy it for a bit longer. The view was to kill for, very quiet and lots of tracks to walk. The location was perfect for us - a short drive to Whangarei and about the same to Waipu. Russell and Michelle were so very helpful with all the multiple and sometimes annoying questions I bombarded them. A Big Thank you for our beutiful stay!

This is very nice place to stay. A quiet area with some good walks. My situation was a little different as I wasn't on holiday and wanted somewhere quiet and reasonably close to the hospital where I was visiting my husband each day. The property is off the road and there are auto gates. As I was on my own this made me feel very safe - on top of which Genevieve was in the main house a lot of the day. It was comfortable and cosy (given my stay was during the winter) and Genevieve and her husband went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Thoroughly recommend and if I ever need to be in Whangarei for any length of time I hope I can use this accommodation again.

What a fabulous place to stay! Away from the road with a gate to keep kids and dog contained. Was a lovely place - we will definitely book again.

Beautiful family home lots of space and the most amazing views. Easy access clean and tidy. My family enjoyed playing pool in the bottom floor of the house and how cool there is a skate ramp to enjoy outside. We woke up to the most beautiful view of the sunrise and enjoyed a coffee outside watching the sunset. Thanks again to Ollie our host! Made everything so easy for us.

We were 4 adults and 4 kids and the house was perfect! We loved the outdoor sofa area and it was walking distance to the most fabulous beach. We absolutely loved our stay!

For Gals Weekends we've stayed in a LOT of holiday homes, and this one has been one of our top favourites - a simpler home than some others, but we've never had such close proximity to the water ... just a few metres! Brilliant. And with neighbouring fences, it also felt private. A winner.

Anneke’s place was truly magical - the views of the water are incredible to wake up to. The space itself is lovely and comfortable with tons of natural light from all of the ocean-facing windows. Anneka was such a wonderful host - she answered any questions we had and was so generous in making sure we had everything we needed. The private beach was so unique with a fun walk down the trail. Despite it being the summer months, we were lucky to get some rainfall which made it possible for us to enjoy the lovely outdoor bath tub! We would 100% stay again and hope to return in the future!

Kylies home was beautiful. Inside and out. The views were anazing. We made delicious pizzas on the pizza oven and roasted marshmallows. The pool and spa was a great hit with all the family. We will recommend Kylies place to everyone. Thank yiu Kylie
