We loved staying at Kate’s. Mingling with the other people camping/glamping in the communal areas was great. The house was perfect for our group.

We had a great stay over xmas and new years, it was a really nice family space and an ideal base for relaxing and enjoying Reefton and the surrounding area. Communication with Alice and Eamon was quick and easy.

What a wonderful place to stay, rainforest views all around and the constant sound of waves. Paradise.

Great place for our family to stay. Walking distance to the heart of Reefton. Outside area was fabulous. Clean and comfortable house.

Absolutely magic. Highly highly recommend. Te Miko is a stunning little collection of houses surrounded by lush native bush. The house is spacious and beautiful. Lovely wee path down to Truman Track. I was impressed that there is a shared cycleway/footpath all the way to the pancake rocks

We loved this property. Spacious , clean and tidy with good quality modern chattels . Very comfortable beds and lovely outdoor area . Located within walking distance to the town , we would definitely stay there again .

We loved our time at this property. It is ideal for large family groups, with the outside area, including a trampoline, a hit with the young ones. There is plenty of space to spread out, regardless of the weather. Having two bathrooms/toilets was good for a large group. The location is well placed between Greymouth, Kūmara and Hokitika.

Beautiful home in a beautiful place. Couldn’t believe how much space we had. It was clean and modern. Robert was extremely helpful. Once I texted him about a cutting board and he showed up 10 minutes later with the cutting board that had had taken for some work and forgotten to return. Ten minutes! Great value!

We were their first guests and the overall experience was fantastic! This was like staying on a mini farm with fantastic amenities Feeding the eels was a treat. The chickens were a blast and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the sauna Kushla and Ben were fantastic hosts. For me it was like staying with old friends A true gem and I recommend staying longer than a night!

We had an amazing stay here, the place is even more spectacular in person. The home has everything you need for an incredible stay everything is so well thought out. The views are magic, even in the rain. Holly and Tim were such great hosts we would love to come back again!

Kim’s place is lovely with plenty of room for a group. We really enjoyed walks nearby (Lake Daniell and the Klondyke Valley both beautiful) and the hot pools at Maruia Springs.

Basic but cozy! The cabins are really near Arthur’s Pass National Park and we enjoyed the easy access to hikes. Beds were comfy with warming blankets and the hot shower works don’t expect too much! Fireplace if it gets cold but we used the space heater instead. Kitchen had a mini fridge, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, and even an air fryer, BYO food you’ll be well sorted. Water was tasty. No issues with the train and road noise, you will hear the rumbling/whooshing for sure but whether it bothers you is really up to personal tolerance. Google maps will take you right here, slow down and watch out for the big Alpine Huts signage.

Absolutely stunning, comfortable home in gorgeous surroundings. The outdoor bath was a winner and Lisa was so helful and fast to reply. I stayed at Lisa's with four friends over Christmas and everyone absolutely loved it. Highly reccommend, andvwould love to stay again.

We had a wonderful time in Hokitika, made even better by having such an exquisitely decorated, clean and functional place to stay and relax. We would go back to Dalton Cottage in a heartbeat!

Perfect for a quick getaway and great that we could bring the dog. Well set up for our needs.

Wow... That was our main word for this stay. The location and view was incredible. It instantly felt like a real relaxing getaway. We noticed some issues around cleanliness that I will share directly with the host so that they are aware, as this place deserves the best! The hot tub was an absolute highlight. Such a friendly and responsive host to chat to online. We had a fabulous time here and we definitely hope to return to this oasis on the hill!

We were able to book last minute on a rainy West Coast day and it was perfect. We soaked in the hot tub and slept so good in the comfortable bed. We would definitely come back!

Amazing place to stay especially after the Heaphy track. LOVED the outdoor bath and bath salts ( thanks Julia) Tastefully decorated, very comfortable. Great to have a washing machine. Loved the home touches eg eggs and home made jam and relish. 5 star plus plus plus.
