Lovely property with great gardens. lovely home in a rural setting with beautifully maintained garden Kitchen has everything you could need and it has a lovely large sitting room/sunroom overlooking extensive rear garden Just FYI the third and fourth bedrooms off the kitchen are very small - the third double is squashed up to a wall(fine as a single but v small for a couple) and the single bedroom is really only suited to a child otherwise excellent property and very responsive hosts - very accommodating re check in. Highly recommended as a wedding stayover venue which suited our needs locationwise

I stayed at Carmel's place a few years ago and have often wanted to return. This time we stayed at Carmel's place with a large group of mums and our kids. We had wonderful time and would love to give even more stars as Carmel and Fintan went above and beyond anything expected from and air BnB host. The location was great in a rural setting and safe and secure so we felt our kids were safe running around. The cleanliness and facilities were second to none and their were so many extra personal touches that made our stay so comfortable including taking into account food preferences for breakfast and leaving us some lovely treats. Some quotes from the other mums show how pleased we really were: Carmel was so thoughtful. When they saw how many kids there were they power washed and sanitised some extra toys for them to play with which was a nice touch. Carmel went above and beyond with the extras (toiletries, slippers, dressing gowns, breakfast, treats), we really weren't expecting that. And she seemed happy to host a load of children which lots of places are not. Absolutely the best air BnB I’ve stayed in for all the little extras, the pony rides were fantastic….the slippers & toiletries etc. It was a great space for kids & families. I didn’t feel worried about letting the kids roam for a bit… The super stocked fridge 👍🏼 the electric front gate made it feel safe as well and the ground level trampoline was a major hit with all 😁

Mark's place is a fantastic property will more than ample space for large groups of people with all the home comforts you could need to make your stay home from home. Also Mark responds very quickly and is fully focused on making his guests stay perfect. We will always stay again if Mark has the availability.

I booked this place on a whim, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! Jacinta was an absolute gem, her responsiveness was unmatched. Even though I missed her visit, she took the time to stop by, ensuring everything was perfect for us, leaving a thoughtful note that made us feel truly cared for. The lodge itself was nothing short of stunning, warm, inviting, and full of charm. Nestled in a picture perfect setting, it felt like our own little haven. Every moment of our weekend getaway was filled with beauty and tranquility. It was an unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to return.

We needed to do a quick trip to Longford and we booked with them. The house was easy to find and they allowed us a flexible check-in. They are a lovely couple, very easy-going and very helpful. The room was better than in the pictures and the bathroom was in suite. They allowed me to use their office for an important meeting I had so I just want to thanks again their hospitality.
