Our stay at Maarten's place was fantastic! The instructions for check-in were clear and easy to follow. Maarten and Ilse were amazing hosts, always responsive to our msgs. They ensured we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The house is nestled by a serene lakeside, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. It was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything, including a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, bikes, relaxing chairs by the lake. The thoughtful touches truly stood out, like the beautiful Christmas decorations with a charming tree and lovely lighting added to the festive atmosphere. We loved spotting the adorable Big duck family and squirrels near the property and enjoyed a wonderful bike ride through the forest trail, where we saw deers, horses and rabbits. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re so grateful for this experience and would love to stay here again in the future! Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable family getaway.

What a beautiful place, what a tranquility! Close to Sneek and Bolsward. A bakery nearby where they have delicious bread. The cottage is clean, stylishly decorated. We had not realized that it is really 1 open space where you sleep and live. For our 5-month-old pup, that took some getting used to, but she also had a lovely time. In short, a place to come back! The exquisite Rituals products were so thoughtful! Plenty of towels, very well cared for!

The house was the same as in the description. It was very clean. The hosts wrote to us a week before. And were quick to respond to questions. We have also received an exact description of how to get to the house. You got into the house and felt right at home. The kitchen is super equipped and it has everything you need. A delicious sweet surprise was also ready for us on the table. Irene and George are great hosts. We will definitely return in any case.

Cozy, clean and spacious apartment. Communication with Christa was smooth and friendly. We were very neatly received by Christa's father. Getting up with a view of the meadows was delightful!

Great location, bus stops right in front of the house. Right on the way to the beach, super nice little island. Everything you need in the immediate vicinity. Nice garden and small sauna in the basement. Relatively steep stairs, was okay with us, but you have to keep in mind. I'd love to come back.

We had a lovely stay in this quiet space. Very nice to recharge here after a day of work at the trade fair in Groningen.

Wonderful place to quickly feel at home. Close to the beautiful forest! And the playground for the children is also nice!
