Great apartment by the beach in mount lavinia. Some good restaurants and bars nearby. The view is great, the apartment was clean and very well kept. Joseph, who is managing the property, has been incredibly helpful and kind, and agreed to let us keep our luggage after check in as our flight was late in the evening. Totally recommended!

The accomodation is very comfortable, clean and newly furnished. There's everything you need for a few days stay in Colombo. Ranil is always been kind and responsive. Moving around the city is extremely easy, we found this location a great spot especially for running between one errand and another in the capital city. Definitely recommended.

We had a pleasant stay at Buddhika's apartment in Borella, Sri Lanka. Buddhika was always available and responded promptly to any questions we had. The apartment was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for our two-week stay. Both bedrooms were fully air-conditioned and featured spacious, comfortable queen-sized (or larger) beds. The amenities matched the description on the Airbnb listing perfectly, with no surprises. Conveniently located, the apartment is just a short distance from Colombo's city center, major hotels, key government buildings, and other important landmarks. Having a car made it easy for us to get around, although Colombo traffic does mean even short trips can take some time. However, ride-sharing services like Uber and PickMe are readily available, even without a personal vehicle. Overall, we were delighted with our experience at Buddhika's apartment and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Colombo area in Sri Lanka

Mr Jayantha was very accommodating. He made sure everything was working and right at home. He kept in touch with us throughout the stay and even topped up the internet for the kids. He was able to meet us at 5am. for check-in and midnight for checkout. Thank you again for the hospitality.

Lakmali was a very helpful host. She inquired often if we needed any help or if any problems with the apt. The place was clean and everything worked in the apt. It was a nice stay.

I was in Colombo for work, followed by a vacation with my family. Romesh's place was perfect for my 2 weeks of work in Colombo. The apartment is centrally located close to several restaurants. Romesh and Janak were very responsive throughout my stay. Check in was very easy and Janak welcomed me and oriented me to the place. The apartment is very well maintained with AC in all the rooms, and a good WIFI connection. The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge, microwave and all the implements for cooking and eating. The location is secure and I had no concerns about safety or security. Hotel Janki is close to the apartment and I had several meals there and use of the swimming pool for a small fee. When I am in Sri Lanka, I normally stay in my own house, which is currently rented out. Romesh's place was as good as staying at my own house. Thank you.

Lovely house in a gated community. 5 mins from the international airport. Very clean and exactly as described !

We are two American travelers who like to avoid the tourist track. We immerse ourselves in rural life. This was a perfect fit for us. It is airy and cool, with a beautiful veranda surrounded by well-tended tea tree plants and landscaping. The grounds were constantly swept clean and kept in pristine condition. One side of the property runs along the Kaluganga River giving a feeling of openness to the surrounding jungle. The house was clean, had lots of fans, and one air-conditioned bedroom whose effect is felt in the living room as well. It also had a large, well equipped kitchen. The friendly caretakers were always at hand to help us with anything we needed. They are accustomed to cooking and cleaning for guests. We cooked for ourselves. We were there for over 3 weeks, without a car. We got around walking, buses to town, and tuk-tuk if raining. Fresh vegs at nearby stands & roadside eateries, very simple but excellent. We hung out & let the time float by. Amazing place.

We stayed at this place for 4 nights, and the experience was great. There is plenty of space in the house with a rooftop perfect for a gathering with your family and friends. Clean spacious rooms and bathrooms. Smart tvs and high speed internet. Overall great place to spend your vacation. I don’t have any bad things to mention. The place was really homely. Secured Easy access . Well maintained and beautiful set up along with plants and lovely ornaments and a fountain near the living area. Quiet neighbourhood. Sumal ( the host ) is very attentive and always ensure that we are comfortable . And ofcourse friendly and helpful as well.

The place was spotless and well-maintained! We stayed for over a month, and Janith’s dad was always available and happy to help whenever needed. As it was my first time using Airbnb, I was a bit nervous, but Janith reassured me that the place was safe and it truly was. Its proximity to the city was incredibly convenient. I’m so glad I chose this place because they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Ajith uncle's place is in the heart of the city. Very convenient to visit all the sightseeing places in Colombo. Very good indian pure vegetarian restaurant in the vicinity which was very convenient for us. He communicated all instructions in clear manner. The only drawback I saw was both the bathrooms were small in size which was little inconvenient for us and especially with kids and eldey we found it difficult. Other than that everything was good. The flat is in second floor and if you have heavy bags, please check with him for any help if required to Carry luggages to second floor.

Chathura was very responsive from the beginning. He accepted almost immediately which was ideal as I was trying to find accommodation for my parents last minute who were on holiday. The apartment was neat and tidy, everything you need. I would recommend Chathura for anyone looking to stay in colombo.

Where to start, what a great host, cozy place, felt serenity and place like more than home. Since i booked n approached her, she was very responsive , allowed early check in. She has decorated each n every item in the apartment with special attention and theme. Right from main door till all rooms, beach theme pillows, wall decoration, special souvenirs from across the world, beach theme kitchen cabinets. The place is just few meters from beach, great views of the sun set and beach around and roof top pool of course is a main attraction.. I am thankful to her for being such a great host I would not even think to go anywhere else next time i am in Colombo .

Amazing communication from the host who messaged me from before check in, throughout, and even after, I was offered a welcome drink and advice throughout. The room is also not even 60 seconds from a beautiful beach where food, drinks, and an amazing sunset are available to watch. In summary, I will be using this bnb more and can not fault it !! Tamara was very helpful… the place is good and clean.. only one comment you need to know that you have to take your luggage up the stairs to reach your rooms.. one room in first floor and 2 rooms in second floor .. that’s it.. otherwise the place is good and clean and tamara was very helpful.. thanks for hosting us

Pubudu is a gem of a person. Although our stay at his home was only 3 nights, he was helpful for our entire holiday in Sri Lanka. He even provided extremely reasonable prices road travel.options within Sri Lanka. As regards his home, it is a great options for those looking for a peaceful and serene location. His home is exactly as listed and in fact has more than what is listed. Pubudu has taken care of everything one could possibly require on their travels. There are a few supermarkets within walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped for those who prefer to cook for themselves. The building complex also has a nice swiming pool which can be used. The apartment is a home away from home.
