Hunter Mountain Retreat nestled in the Trailside complex is steps from the slopes. During the ski season, you can walk through parking lot & ski down to get your lift ticket. The Kaatskill Mountain Club is on the opposite side of the trails where you can go for dinner or a drink at the bar. Activities include Zipline, Skyride, Disc Golf, Horseback Riding. Trailside is by far the best & most luxurious place to stay in Hunter. Our rates are very reasonable for the luxury & location.

Anne is an amazing host and this townhouse is fabulous. Perfect for a mountain stay. Comfortable, spacious, great view of the mountain, clean, modern yet cozy. Very convenient to everything in the area. I cannot say enough about it, but having such a great host was the cherry on top, especially since we were there for an extended period!! You cannot go wrong!

What a great place to stay with your dogs. From the moment we entered, we felt dogs were welcome. The fact that it was pet friendly did not impact the quality of our stay. It was cozy, comfortable & impeccably clean. Our hostess was very responsive. I was concerned about the safety of the walkway due to ice & our Michelle had extra salt added to the driveway prior to our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would love to stay again.

The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. It is beautifully designed and extremely clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are very comfortable, and the playroom for the toddlers was an amazing addition to the experience. Judy was very responsive and considerate of all of our needs. We would love to come back for another stay!

I stayed with a group of girlfriends at Chris’s amazing a-frame house and couldn’t be happier about our choice! The house was beautifully and tastefully furnished, bedrooms (and beds!) were lovely and comfortable, and common areas were stylish and cozily appointed. The fire place and hot tub were both a huge hit with our crew, as was the fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed and more. It wasn’t the right weather for a fire pit, but that was available too. Chris gave lots of great recommendations for local restaurants, etc, and house instructions were simple and clear. Would 100% recommend to someone traveling to Hunter Mt or surrounding area!

Mougeh's place is a lovely home with ample space, toys, books, games for entire family, within walking distance to the beach, and four mile drive to all shopping needs. The reason for the three star rating given in the "clean house" question was because when we arrived we noticed dog hair in the living area. We contacted the host and immediately the next day the cleaning service arrived and cleaned it. We were refunded the cleaning fee. Mougeh is very caring and responsive to her guests's needs.
