Wonderful house with truly comfortable furniture. I actually photographed some of the furniture and manufacturer's tags to get those chairs and sofa for home. Mattress (king) also excellent. I stayed 5 days for work, and didn't want to leave. Super convenient for hiking on Neversink, too. It is not completely private since you may see hikers going by, and as an older female staying alone, I was aware of that. But there are plenty of shades including blackout and I got used to it. The view, before leaves come out, is awesome, the Mt. Penn neighborhood and Pagoda lit up at night, and the Howard Street Bridge, love it. Time to read the Updike "Rabbit" books again. One tip, make sure the upper shower knob is pointed down, or you will get a cold overhead blast from the other shower head. Otherwise all appliances and amenities are terrific! Thank you Denise for your quick and friendly communication and nice greeting card. Would stay again.

The house was just what was promised. Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The amenities were a promised. The directions and information provided were very helpful. It was easy to find what we needed/wanted and the signage in the kitchen was great. The deck was lovely - even tho' there was only 1 day warm enough for us to actually use it. Thanks so much for hosting us. We loved our stay.

Overall very nice place to stay. Convenient location near to Bryn Mawr College and downtown. The apartment was clean and comfy. Dave was very responsive whenever we needed help and responded almost immediately, which was especially helpful when my 18-yo daughter got locked inside her bedroom accidentally (the lock on the door probably should be replaced). Dave coached us over the phone on how the gently jimmy the door without breaking anything.

We absolutely loved our stay in Mount Gretna. The location is so unique—it really feels like a hidden gem. This place was sooo fun for my kids! The animal care taker Erin was amazing!!! She really made the trip special for my kids. Would not have been the same experience with out her. She took so much time with us and was so wonderful with the animals and letting our kids be around them.

very cute brick ranch perfect for our couples trip. nice living room, kitchen and bedrooms. bathrooms were small and toilets were very close to shower or a wall so they were kind of hard to use it your tall like us. very easy to communicate with hosts. loved the coffee bar and location close to shady maple.

This little quaint place was what me and my honey needed! It was small yet spacious and it was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s exactly how it looked in the photos. Wilkum Home, a PA Dutch inspired space w/ Parking

We had an amazing stay at the Wilkum House! It was extremely clean and had AMAZING decor throughout the entire house. The bathroom and kitchen are extremely nice and very clean. The backyard is even like a little getaway. The location of this place is ideal for hitting all the important parts of downtown Lancaster! Would absolutely stay again!

My family and I had a great time at Dream on Main. Plenty of room for us and my daughter loved the playroom & fuseball table in the basement. We got to enjoy the hot tub, but not the fire pit (maybe next time). We enjoyed the snacks that were left in the kitchen for us! We used Door Dash & Instacart for groceries for the long weekend, never had an issue with the deliveries. We could hear the trucks on Main st & saw that the bedrooms had white noise machines, but we did not feel the need to use them. We cant wait to come and stay again!

It's our home away from home when visiting Lancaster! We visit the area frequently, and this is the only place we will stay. Elmer & Nancy's hospitality is unmatched to anywhere else. You couldn't find a better place to stay. Oh, and Nancy's homemade peanut butter eggs....BEST THING EVER! You won't be disappointed with anything!

Although we have stayed in many rentals, this "home away from home" was the best by far. It was the perfect, peaceful get-away for a trip. Everything was explained. And while in many homes someone has to stay in the "not so nice" bedroom, each room was modern, equally beautiful and the beds were comfortable. Each bedroom even had its own sound machine to help you fall asleep if you're not used to the quiet of the countryside. It was magical to wake-up every morning to the horses and chickens on the property. One could even feed the chickens! It was delightful to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or play games at night in the sun room while enjoying the nature surrounding us. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything one could imagine. They even had a delightful coffee and tea bar! All of the bathrooms had everything we needed including soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. It was close to all of the tourists sites such as Sight and Sound, buggy tours, etc. We didn't want to leave!

Juliana's place was the perfect getaway for my Mom's 70th birthday. Half of her sisters already live in the area so we were looking for somewhere to stay close to them for a girl's weekend. Everyone commented how beautiful the home was. It was clean and spacious and close to plenty of things to do- brunch at Speckled Hen/downtown Strasburg, shopping at the outlets, thrifting at the many thrift stores in the area, farmer's markets, and more! The rain kept us from being able to enjoy the fire pit and creek but it was such a lovely view to see everyday. Thank you, Juliana for sharing this space!

This place was absolutely amazing. First off, the cleanliness was out of this world. The home is simply beautiful surrounded by nature. We loved the use of the private hot tub. The home was definitely cozy and spacious. Mandy was responsive every single step of the way from our initial questions prior to booking all the way up until check out. Any time we reached out it was met with care, compassion, and friendliness. The area is definitely quiet and rural, so expect spotty cell service as described. The home was about 45 minutes away from Lancaster which we enjoyed a nice afternoon enjoying for a Sunday lunch. We traveled there during a snow storm and with the darkness and winding roads, it was definitely crucial to exercise extreme caution, especially since the journey to the home was mostly traveling up and down hill. I am so grateful to Mandy for giving us the opportunity to escape here. Thank you so much! Book here and you will not be disappointed. :)

Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others. A few small spots could have been cleaned a bit more and the price was a bit steep compared to similar locations, but ultimately happy we chose to stay here and the size of the home was perfect for what we needed.

Love the quaint cottage setting. Second time staying. Gail is very responsive and proactive with the booking. Getting in is easy and it feels like you’re in a magical place. Stocked with coffee and often forgotten bathroom items, books to read and even weights and mat for a workout. We’ve stayed during spring and miss the restaurants and activities in the area. The lighting isn’t very good for tasks or reading but you can rearrange lights to make it better. It’s a great place to get away and relax. Would recommend for your next stay.

This place was wonderful! Went for a weekend with my dogs and boyfriend to see family and stayed here! The house was very clean when we arrived and the host left us some wine and snacks which was very nice after a long day of traveling! The outside is beautiful as well and our dogs loved the yard! Would reccomend this place to anyone staying in the area!

We loved our stay here! The camper was spotless, and in a great area. Nice, quiet place to stay, but within a good distance of everything around. About 20 mins to Lancaster and there were also great places even closer. Joshua was a great host, we even needed to extend our stay and they were super accommodating. Even though it was at their house, it was super quiet and we never knew they were home! We would definitely stay here again.

We drove close to 8 hours in order to take my parents to the Sight & Sound Theater. We chose this home for the space and close proximity to everything.. but also wanted space and land. This home provided that and more! The kids were able to feed the sheep and chickens..we LOVED the home and land, thank you for a wonderful stay!

We LOVED our weekend!! Anne was the best host from the day we started searching a place. I had a large group I was bringing to PA, and she was so willing to talk through our needs and make sure her home fit those needs before we booked! She answered all questions I had, helped us with local needs like grocery options and the distance to our quiz location, and she went above and beyond making us feel welcome!! The house was perfect. The individual rooms and bathrooms fit our needs-but, the main level kitchen and living room brought us all together, and blessed me! We already talked about booking it again when we return every 3 years!! Anne, thank YOU! Thank you for your kindness, for welcoming us, for the ways you blessed us (eggs are a gift), and for allowing us to stay in your home! We pray others feel as blessed by your hosting and we did!!
