We’ve just spent a wonderful week at Mark and Cathy’s beautiful cottage and could not recommend this place more! Mark welcomed us personally and was happy to give recommendations and help with any questions we had! The cottage itself is so lovely and cosy, we felt right at home and just loved spending time there — be it relaxing at the pool, braaing in the evening, having breakfast outside :) Lastly, I just wanted to say a big thank you to our hosts, who we’ve had wonderful chats with and made our experience even more memorable :)

Fabulous vacation home for a large family. Our high expectations have been far exceeded. The house and pool is more spacious than we expected and fully equipped and is very well maintained and super safe. The children really enjoyed the warm pool. Communication with Bibie was excellent and super fast. During the week the maid helped us keep the house clean. We would love to come again. We had a great time in the Little Guinea Fowl Cottage. Thank you so much Bibie for hosting us.

This is a wonderful cottage in a terrific location. Host and hostess are easily accessible and respond quickly. The unit is nicely equipped and has plenty of space.

Cute, clean cottage with a beautiful private garden overlooking the mountains. Lindsay is a really lovely host, super friendly, kind and accommodating - even allowing us to stay a couple of hours longer as she had no one checking in - which meant we didn't have to waste the day waiting at the airport. Perfectly central to stroll to Kalk Bay or Muizenberg as we didn't have a car. Perfect spot to relax in St James for a week or so.

We loved our stay at Anthea’s place. We were with our 1yo son and it was just perfect for us. The surroundings and view are breathtaking, the pool is great and Anthea & her housekeeper were so kind & helpful and also flexible for check in & out time. Thank you so much !

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the little garden cottage. It was located perfectly, in the city, but very private, safe and quiet. The view over there harbour and the city is amazing. Angela and her husband welcomed us so friendly, they are amazing hosts. The cottage is quite big and we felt very comfortable. We would definitely come back.

We had a great stay at Vin’s place with our dogs. The place is clean, peaceful and the garden is beautiful. Vin is super responsive and accommodating, and full of good local recommendations !

Laura’s home is perfect and her beautiful family is so welcoming and responsive throughout the stay as well. We loved the privacy and being able to filter from the city noise and just relax. Great hosts, great cottage what more can one ask for 😊

This was definitely the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. The hosts were truly exceptional - super attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We had some unexpected car trouble, and they were incredibly helpful, ensuring we got everything sorted quickly. Their local recommendations were spot-on, and every suggestion was absolutely fantastic. As for the accommodation, it was spacious, impeccably clean, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Walking into such a well-maintained and thoughtfully prepared space was a real highlight. The views were amazing and added so much to the experience. We had an incredible stay and would return in a heartbeat!

The Retreat was even nicer than the photos! The outside space is great, the garage is big enough for 2 cars and the house is amazing. Birgit was easily contactable for the few issues we had and checked in with us during our stay. Blessing was wonderful, friendly and welcoming, a great addition to our stay. I would recommend staying here to everyone, it is a great location and a fabulous house.

What a lovely spot! The cottage is quiet and peaceful and has everything we needed for a weekend stay. The beds were very comfy and there was plenty of extra bedding available when the weather turned rather cold. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped and has a wonderful view of the garden. Great shower, too! Maya was the perfect host - we felt right at home from the start and would love to visit again some time.

I had the most wonderful stay in the detached cottage. Extremely helpful hostess - even managed to accommodate my last minute request of an additional night as my travel plans had changed. This made my trip to South Africa all the better - not having to search for additional accommodations. I absolutely loved the location - with a terrific little grocery store 100 meters up the road. And the famous beach, restaurants, cafes and bars within a few minutes walk. Parking was extremely easy as well - directly across the quiet street. Extremely safe area - I had no issues walking alone at night back from the restaurants. Again, an absolutely perfect location - and a most welcoming space.

This is my second time coming back to this house. This was the most beautiful, accommodating, value -for-money and spectacular Airbnb house I have ever come across. The views are spectacular. There is easy access to the beach as well an inside and outside braai. The house is very modern and safe. The communication with the host hosts are prompt and professional.

A lovely, spacious home from home. We loved the fully equipped kitchen and indoor/outdoor living opening onto a quiet, secure and private garden.

Sarita is a great host. Warm, friends and responsive. The guest cottage is separate from the main house, allowing privacy and quiet space. Views over the beach and mountains in the distance on the accessible balcony. The pool was also available. Cottage equipped with essentials in a kitchenette, gas stove, neat bed, sofa and separate bathroom with shower. The location is on the mountainside, in Gordon’s Bay and a 10 minute drive to Strand beach. A great place for solo travelers or a couple.

Cape White eyes, hoopoe ,Fork tailed drongos , sun birds to name a few & the most beautiful of butterflies flitting past the large plate glass windows in our main bedroom were a delight . The indigenous garden and beautiful bay and Silvermine mountain views from Mark's place ensured that I woke up to bird song every morning. As an outdoors person and nature lover staying here ensured a little of the nature that I love and normally seek out staying in National Parks was on our doorstep while I was still able to have my dogs along with us for this holiday . Of course you are choosing Fishhoek as a holiday destination because of the hiking , snorkelling, sea swimming, kayaking , history, opportunities and coastal vibe. There is so much to do and explore right on your doorstep . Check- in was super easy. Mark was a very kind & accommodating host always available by phone. His beautifully appointed apartment worked perfectly for my family & our doggies. Thank you for a great stay Mark

The studio was compact but lacked nothing that we needed. Included generous supplies of coffee tea and sugar and all amenities for cooking. Bed very comfortable. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Good security. We hope to be back next time we visit our family.
