Excellent space to just get away from it all. Beautiful home and surroundings and an amazing host who was kind and down to earth.

What an amazing house! Just spend 5 wonderful nights here with family, and it was the perfect home away from home, comfortably accommodating eight of us (four adults and four children). The games room was a massive hit with the kids, as were the hot tub and fire pit. A short walk to the beach, and beautiful views out over the lake. The birds taking flight over the lake at sunset was just gorgeous! And to top it off - Keith was the perfect host, friendly, helpful, and responsive. Highly recommend.

Fantastic place for friends or family. We used it as a base to explore the local area. We spent a day in Walhalla which was stunning. We wished we had more time just to hang out at the property. Like other reviews have said, the open fire provided a warm welcome. The house has everything you need and I don’t think the current photos do it justice. It was warm and inviting and very comfortable. Highly recommend and hopefully we will come back again.

We enjoy our stay so much at Carmen's place! The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious for all 11 of us! Everything was better than expected. Kids and adults alike had a blast with the pool table. We loved the horseshoe driveway and super spacious parking spaces, and having a well (safely filled in) added such a charm to the house. We saw birds daily-cockatoos, galahs, rosellas-and even had a blue wren and friends in the backyard and 3 kookaburras laughing in the electric pole out front! Beach was easily accessible across the street-fantastic for our beach loving family. Carmen was a wonderful host, super quick at responding, so friendly and kind. My kids loved the welcome platter lol. Thanks so much for taking care of us Carmen!! We have had a fantastic week and will definitely love to come back for a second pool tournament! 😊

Friendly host ，clean place.

We had an amazing stay at Clare’s place! The location was perfect, making it so easy to explore the beautiful lake and beach nearby. The facility was wonderful, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Clare was a fantastic host with great communication, always quick to respond and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Michael and Bridget were excellent hosts. They are incredibly helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to make our stay over NYE as comfortable as possible. The house is even better than the photos, spacious backyard, serene views, and all the modern amenities you could ask for. My friends and I are all so grateful for such a great stay :) I highly recommend staying with Michael and Bridget.

Had a lovely time staying at Wendie’s place. The location was great, close to the lake and not far from the beach. The house was so cozy, tidy, had everything we needed and a lovely hamper upon arrival. Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing place for a weekend getaway or if you are looking to get away from the city life and go off the grid. Peaceful and serene landscape. Highly recommended. Katharine was extremely helpful and welcoming to our group.

What an absolutely outstanding location! We have now stayed here twice and just WOW! Beautiful scenery, Beautiful home and fantastic hosts. Our family love visiting, our dogs have a ball and our toddler is in heaven. Cool In the heat and warm on the cooler nights. Thankyou Lily and Tyler for such an excellent weekender location.

Great little getaway spot for the fam or even just yourself to clear the mind or get some peace.. apart from the friendly Mr Rooster doing his morning thing, he's a great alarm clock though to be honest! We visited sit the small and friendly local pub in Briagalong... great people and the food was nice too. Thanks to Hana once again

This was the perfect place for a relaxing few nights away with a friend. Outdoor baths with magical views day & night - private & peaceful ✨ Great kitchen with all the cookware etc we needed plus spices, oil & other bits & bobs we were free to use. Comfy couches, huge windows for views & natural light (perfect for doing yoga in front of) & a short walk to a sweet little lake. Beautiful wider area to explore by car if you wish to! We loved Mushroom Rocks & Walhalla. Definitely hope to return.

Everything was provided, from a BBQ to a firepit with extra wood, snuggly blankets and items for our baby (Portacot and High Chair). Instructions were clear and place was easy to find - and it really was private! It seems there are 4 units on the property plus the main house. You do go up a dirt road for 5 mins but it is very safe. Wifi was fine, tv had apps you could sign into. The two bedrooms both had fans but best to keep the doors open to use the cooler in the lounge to its full effect. Basic supplies available - salt, pepper, oil, paper towel and amenities so we were able to cook our own meals easily. Oven, hotplate x 2, microwave, full fridge and BBQ available. 15 mins to Bairnsdale, 30 mins to Paynesville and Metung. We would 100% go again! Thank you Nigel and family.
