Thank you so much Christina and Steffen. Your place was gorgeous and a fantastic place to spend our first Anniversary. I wish the weather had been a little less amazing so we could have spent more time in the spa pool. But it was amazing to sit out and enjoy the evenings sunset and watch the stars come out. Highly recommend!

Kate was a great and friendly host. Helped us feel at home on our visit to Wellington! The guest house was freshly remodeled, clean, and comfortable. We stayed with three kids and two adults and this space didn’t feel too crowded despite being one room.

True Luxury within a Boutique yet homely setting here at The Gatehouse. It was evident that this was going to become my best AirBNB experience from the moment Philip made contact. The entire process was swift and smooth with no delay in communication. The house itself is remarkable, with high end sound equipment, luxury bathroom toiletries and rich flora at your doorstep, just to name a few. The location itself is a simple 20 minute drive from the CBD or a short ferry trip if you prefer. Its peaceful surroundings and friendly locals help aid this in being the best Airbnb you can find, not only in Wellington but perhaps the entirety of the Southern Hemisphere. Look no further if you want to set the bar so high as to make a 5 star hotel feel like a hostel…

Well appointed and clean room with ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, couch and desk. A very comfortable stay, with a private entrance and garden area. The hosts David and Kerry are amazing, they made me feel right at home from the small treats and welcome goodies they left in the room, to showing me the local sites, public transport routes, walking trails and restaurants.

Despite not crossing paths with Rachel & Steve, they were the best hosts keeping in close contact, but at the same time enabling our privacy. They Bach is perfectly located and provided all we could desire with breathtaking views. It was so simple to book and we felt so welcome. Super special to understand the history (no spoilers) & association with Sheila Natusch too. Highly recommend Ōwhiro Bay as a beautiful place to further explore Wellington.

A wonderful place to stay in Wilton, Wellington. An architecturally award-winning contemporary house with great views and all mod cons available to guests. Super-comfortable, warm and convenient! We walked down into the city twice through the lovely Botanical Gardens and the ferry terminal to Picton is only 10 mins drive away. Jesse and Briar are very responsive hosts. Highly recommended!

great stay, spa was amazing, enjoyed the skylight and how light it was in the mornings. We had a bit of a problem getting the shower to be the right temperature, but the spa more than made up for it.
