Wellesley Island vacation rentals

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights while we took care of some business in the area. The cabin is off the beaten path and has a cozy feel. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely amazing, we had great plans, but the ice storm and the cozy fireplace changed those plans. Hermann and Tracy were an absolute blast! Super chill, and super friendly, we would come back just to spend time with them! We had a cute visitor to come check up on us as well! We hope to be back, thank you hosting us Hermann and Tracy!

We had an amazing long weekend at the Hideaway! The cabin and surrounding area is beautiful and maintained very well. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

We really loved staying at their place. Well equipped kitchen and ample sleeping space. Comfy couch. Great fire pit and water front. We will be back with warmer weather so we can swim in the water!

Our retreat at the cabin was just what we needed. The walk to the waterfront was a beautiful easy hike on the path/road on the property!e found the kitchen stocked with everything we needed, s as was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable with quality linen. We loved the homey feel of this country cabin and enjoyed the atmosphere and property! My favourite part was the photo album of the restoration of this historical building. You did beautiful job respecting its history while bringing it into this century😊 Thank you so much for opening this treasure up to us.

Julie sent us the cottage address and more information well in advance of our arrival. She was friendly and even though she lives close by we couldn't see her house and she gave us total privacy. The hot tub was so amazing and secluded. The house was warm and clean. Very quiet location. We will definitely visit again! Thank you Julie!

Booked the red cabin for a long weekend on Lake Ontario. We had great access to the lake and were able to come back to a hot shower, full kitchen, and even had time to build a fire. All you need in one convenient cabin. Beware that the dock/ramp was very shallow. I have a bass boat and was able to get into it but might be more difficult in a larger vessel. Good news is that the cabins have an external outlet to plug in the boat batteries. Connie was great at keeping us updated and gave clear instructions for check in-check out. Highly recommend! (Especially for Anglers)

Lovely space - just like the pictures. A little tricky to find the first time, but its location is part of what makes it so peaceful. The cottage was perfect for our needs and the hot tub was delightful. David answered all our inquiries promptly and even let us check in early when I asked. We had some issues with the internet service, but that was clearly weather-related. And although he was unable to resolve the issue before we checked out, David was very responsive and reached out to the internet company right away and made every effort to get it fixed.

Second time coming staying at Sam’s. Just as magical and peaceful as before. Can’t wait to come again next year.

Absolutely stunning property! The cottage was cozy, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing weekend stay. The biggest (and most pleasant) surprise was how well stocked the kitchen was, it had everything we needed and more. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into making the space feel like home. Highly recommend!

The “Sunset Cottage” felt like a cozy home away from home. An extraordinary lake view from the bay window was the perfect center piece for this modest, quaint escape. Carol and Pete are extremely personable and caring. Their hospitality made this trip a breeze. I highly recommend them and this AirBnB.

Elsie has an amazing little cottage nestled with great river views and direct access to the waters. The place was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with all essentials. My only feedback would be to extend the checkout time to 11 am and to have some lights installed near the fire pit.

We only stayed for one night to break our journey up as we were heading to Niagara Falls , absolutely gorgeous location a step away from the lake with breathtaking scenery , perfect to sit out on the patio enjoying the scenery and having a drink and chill , beds were very comfortable we both slept well , welcome basket was a nice touch , we used the kitchen and made our own dinner and table was gorgeous to sit at , would recommend to anyone who enjoys relaxing and great views

Beautiful spot for a quiet family getaway with our geriatric mastiff. They had everything we needed for wet March weather with a 145lb dog. We look forward to going back in the summer as it looks perfect for lakeside fun as well!

Morgan was great at hosting and quickly responded to questions during our stay. The house is well furnished with modern appliances, excellent kitchen, bathrooms, fenced back yard for taking the dogs out, and bed linens are top quality. Very comfortable stay. Too bad the lake effect storm moved in so we had to leave a day early to get ahead of the storm we would be driving through. Informed Morgan and she offered a little discount for our inconvenience. All in all it was a very good experience.

We totally loved Mexi’s place. It was super relaxing and restful for us. It was so comfortable, it felt like home. Mexi is very easy to communicate with which made it nice. Thanks, Mexi! And… Mexi had everything you might need on your visit away… from blow dryer and straightener, to shampoo/conditioner/body wash, and much more. One spot we really liked a lot was the porch. So peaceful. You won’t be disappointed. We would come back.

We had an exceptional experience at this place! The environment was tranquil and the surroundings were simply beautiful. The host was incredibly friendly, providing us with all the necessary instructions and even helping out when we encountered a minor hiccup with the fire. The adorable animals on the property were a delightful bonus, and we were even treated to some fresh duck eggs! Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable retreat.

everything was great. place was clean and ready to be stayed at. no problems or concerns. great responsive host as well!!

My family and I had a comfortable stay at the cottage. There was more than enough space for the 7 off us. My toddler enjoyed playing in the sunroom. The location was quiet, yet very close to Clayton and Alex Bay. I would stay here again on a trip to the Thousand Islands.

I don’t want to leave this review as it may keep this place booked and I would not be able to rent again. We think it is just right for us. We rented for an ice fishing trip and they are more than accommodating. Would rent again and again
