We found ourselves needing a place to stay while my husband worked for the week in Homer. Given the limited number of hotels available, I checked Airbnb and found the Milk Barn. It is the perfect size for a couple, and given the miserable cold temperatures we had while visiting, we were so thankful to have a cozy place to snuggle in for several days. I work remotely, so the wifi and choice of comfortable work spots were exactly what I needed. We cooked dinner each night in the perfectly well-stocked kitchen, then used our projector to binge movies and TV shows. (There's a nice TV available, but we enjoyed "movie nights" on the projector this trip. The place is clean and has all the amenities you'd expect. It was a special last-minute find that made our week enjoyable. Amanda is a great host and even took the time to help me locate resources for an article on this area.

We had a great stay at Braley’s house. It was a perfect location, close to where our family was having a Christmas gathering. Everything was exactly as described online. Braley was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend her house if you need a place to stay in the Minden area.

This cabin was so well appointed & when you walked in, you felt like you just belonged… Peggy is amazing at responding to messages & it was almost like you knew her. So many “extras” that they didn’t have to offer, but made our stay that much nicer. Would be a wonderful place to stay to get-away from all of life’s stresses. So peaceful, we even slept in because it was so quiet. HIGHLY recommend to anyone & everyone! Thank you from N. Texas

My family is so thankful for the opportunity to use this home. It was close to our daughter’s wedding venue and had everything we needed for a home away from home wedding base. The pictures do not do this home justice! She took my breath away and would recommend this to anyone with a 10 out of 10 rating.

Kayaking, fishing, sunsets, fire pit and more…everything was amazing and as advertised! Mary was very helpful. She greeted us with cookies upon arrival to show us around the property and how to use the boat launch. Had a blast making memories with my kids!

Lovely neighborhood!! In fact, my friend said it reminded him of the movie The Truman Show. Very pretty and quiet!! Caroline provided clear instructions for check in and check out. If I had one small complaint, the water pressure in the master bath was somewhat lacking. Other than that, everything was truly perfect!! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the home and with the exceptionally comfortable seating and bedding. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment for meal preparation and with very nice dishes on which to enjoy those meals. The layout was spacious and amenable to a nice gathering space for our family. The location was convenient to town but far enough out so we could enjoy peace and quiet and privacy. The owners were responsive and instructions were easy to find and easy to follow. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless and appear to have been upgraded with newer and attractive features. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a stress-free rental that affords excellent value for the cost.

It was a beautiful place to stay full of history. I absolutely loved the decor. It was warm, inviting and plenty of space for our family to hangout and spend time together. We could not have picked a more beautiful time to go because the wisteria were in bloom and the smell was wonder and the color purple filed the yard. We definitely will stay again❤️

Huckleberry hideaway, is a diamond..it is by far,one of the most unique airbnb's i have visited..it is peaceful, relaxing,and beautifully maintained ..Mr.Lundy and Kristi are both awesome ppl..kristi was so quick to respond to any questions,and made sure i had everything needed..has an amazing hot tub, with a gorgeous view,while soaking...a catch and release,pond to fish...the gameroom is awesome..excellent pool table,darts,and plenty board games,to play ..will definitely be visiting again soon!!

We (family of 4) stayed at Matt’s place on our way through LA when we had to unexpectedly stop for the night. He accommodated us at the last minute (late night check in), and was very responsive. The place itself felt private, was clean and organized, had covered parking, and the couch was incredibly comfortable. Overall our experience here was short, but great. Thanks Matt.

We had such a wonderful quiet time staying here. Valentines weekend combined with such a cute pink setup for the little cottage was perfect. Very easy to find and get in. Sara was very responsive when we reached out. We loved that we were within walking distance from 3 different restaurants and a coffee shop as well. If you have time, go to the free germantown museum to learn a bit about the history.

Mary is the most welcoming and attentive host we have ever dealt with on Airbnb. It is obvious that her Priority is a safe and comfortable stay for her guests. It is the most well-equipped kitchen I have ever encountered as a guest! The lakefront property is absolutely gorgeous, and we can’t wait to return and stay a little longer when it is warmer.
