Great place ,friendly host! Was able to work with a group of hurricane clean up crew on a short notice and changing requests multiple times!

We were not able to actually stay at Lisa’s place because of Hurricane Helene, but will definitely go when we are able! Lisa was a great host, very responsive and helpful!

We loved our stay at this cabin. Only 15 minutes from most everything in the area but felt like we were in the middle of the woods. Very private. Everything was clean and well appointed. Instructions were clear for the operation of all things. Nice to have a washer and dryer in the cabin. The hot tub was awesome to enjoy after long days of hiking. Responsive hosts. Would stay there again and recommend to friends and family.

Loved the location. Well secluded and private but close enough to get to necessities. Tommy was quick to reply to any message that was sent and even in the event of turmoil of Hurricane Helene was quick to ensure us his place was unharmed and ready to welcome visitors.

Such a perfect place to stay. Even with seven people in the cabin it never felt cramped. The location was beautiful! It was such a perfect place for a weekend away.

Felt so cozy on a snowy day! I enjoyed the layout with two private rooms on the main floor with a loft room above. There is a spiral staircase to access the loft. The restroom was on the main floor and was large. The kitchen was nicely equipped. The hot tub was clean and the dog run secure. We came in at night and got a bit lost but there is a wooden number sign at the end of the driveway. I’m still giving five stars but the only suggestion I’d make is to reinstall the door handle on the second door so we can utilize that entryway to the covered porch free of rain or snow. Would stay here again in the future.

Such a beautiful location, private. The hot tub was a great touch within the chilly weather. The beds were so comfortable. Everything was clean as could be. Great host. An experience I will not forget.

Garry and Debbie are excellent hosts and deserve 100 stars, not just five!! They are concerned about the comfort and safety of there guests at all times. The cabin is everything one needs for a relaxing get away!! The sound of the river is so peaceful. The cabin itself provides all the comforts for a home away from home. We look forward to our next visit there!

Nice location in a great little town right near the Appalachian Trail. Had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend.

We used Greg’s cabin as a base camp for hiking in the Shining Rock Wilderness. The place was incredibly clean and we were able to make it up the gravel road in our small hatchback, despite the dusting of snow on the ground.

We had a great time at The Lure of the Mountains. It was a little bit hard to get to but well worth the drive. Excellent views of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock area. The kitchen has most all of the basics we needed and the Weber gas grill worked perfectly. Hot tub was a plus!!! The weather forecast wasn't very good but actually turned out very nice. I would definitely recommend this house to others. 👍👍 THANKS

We stayed at Angela’s cabin for a wedding we attended right down the road. It was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The outside creek was beautiful. Wished we could have enjoyed it longer as we were in and out the entire stay doing wedding things. We will be back!

Kevin’s place was just like the pictures and has everything we needed! It was quiet and cozy! There was a beautiful trail in the back yard and a fire pit! The road to the cabin wasn’t too bad for my little Toyota carolla as well. Would stay again thank you!

Our stay was amazing! Everything was as described! We came from Pennsylvania to spend Thanksgiving with our Florida Family who rented your other home next door! If you want to “hang up and hang out” for a long weekend, this is definitely the place to do it!! The Christmas tree was also a nice surprise! We will be back!! Continued prayers for strength and healing to the community of Old Fort and neighbors!!

Lindsey’s home was an excellent place for Friendsgiving! The kitchen was well-stocked and the cabin was so cozy (many post-meal naps were had by the fireplace). We loved being able to bring our pups, too. The yard was huge and on a slope; my dog had so much fun chasing his ball around. The wraparound porch is huge and the view of the mountains stunning. There are plenty of games and things to do around the house, and there are several smart TVs, so we were able to catch all the football games. Highly recommend for a secluded getaway!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Sunflower Cottage. The cottage overlooked large fields and the mountains. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and driving the 15-20 mins to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. We attended a wedding at Bearwallow Mountain and this location was very convenient to the wedding events. We brought our fur friend with us and she loved exploring the area. We felt right at home at Sunflower Cottage. We can't wait to return in the future!

This was a great stay. She made us feel right at home and went over and beyond to make it comfortable. They were on a boil water notice so they brought us bottled water. They communicated with us during our time and were a fast response. Would love to visit again.

What a perfect cabin to get away to! A lovely view with the river out back, quiet and secluded, a total vibe! Ceevah and David were very responsive and there for any needs, the cabin was well maintained and there was plenty of untisils for cooking. All in all a for sure visit for a nice, relaxing time in Mars Hill/Asheville.

A very cute and very clean home, nestled in a little wooded spot with a safe green area to walk. We felt right at home and it was only ten minutes from downtown! Would recommend in terms of everything you'd want and expect from an Airbnb!

This place was just what we needed! Simple and quiet for a couple nights with our dog. Response was excepcional when I was having any confusion, and everything was extremely clean. We felt very safe staying here and everyone was super friendly! Our pup felt right at home and loved having a bunch of grass and a stream to explore. Will definitely stay again if I'm in the area!!
