The apartment is gorgeous—has everything you need, with a few tasty extras, courtesy of the hospitable hosts. The location is unbeatable—incredible views of the beach, walking distance to cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, and steps from the beach. The beds are very comfortable, and the shower is great. The only negative is that we didn’t stay for longer! I highly recommend this property, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Note: not a criticism just a statement—the flight of stairs to enter + bathtub base shower with high step to enter make it less accessible for those with mobility restrictions. Just something to consider.

Beautifully presented accomodation in a wonderful beach location. Surrounded by cafes and a restaurant. We felt like at home, had everything what we needed, very comfortable bed with crisp linen. A lot of pillows and extra blankets. Lucy is a very professional host. Responds very quickly, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this accommodation for a holiday stay !

I enjoyed my stay at Lynette's lovely unit. Convenient location; close to public transport, parks, beaches and restaurants; safe, walkable neighbourhood; comfortable, clean accommodation; and undercover off-street parking. Lynette is a friendly, responsive, and helpful host. Great for a short or long term stay. Would recommend! 🙂

We absolutely loved our stay at Lucy's place - so much room, beautiful home and SO close to amazing cafes, restaurants and shops. So many lovely little touches to the stay, with Lucy offering plenty of local recommendations and yummy breakfast supplies. Would definitely come back again to stay and highly recommend - who can resist the amazing Henley Beach right on your doorstep! Thank you for having us, Lucy :)

Fantastic host. Had everything we needed. Comfortable beds lying there listening to the waves on the beach and the shower was amazing. I didn’t want to get out. Great location with beautiful views of the ocean and walk up the hill for more views of the river and marina. Nice stroll into Glenelg City and a short drive into Adelaide. Definitely recommended and I will rebook when I am lucky enough to go back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Oak & Yellow Door Retreat! The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Amanda was incredibly thoughtful, providing us with a generous selection of edible goods for the duration of our stay. The space itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with everything we needed to feel at home. It's also in a great spot, with easy access to nearby activities and dining options. Overall, a lovely, serene retreat that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet escape with all the comforts of home.

Meticulously clean compact studio, prompt communication from Roshan ( host), luxurious linen, appreciated light breakfast provisions, easy entry, quiet neighbourhood, the only thing missing was a small table/desk to eat &/or work from, I was in the region for work , however if you are there for leisure (wineries very close as is coast) this is the perfect place for you , highly recommend 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Julie's place. The apartment was quite spacious and bigger than appears in the pictures. The location was great, walking distance to jetty Rd and the beach only 20m away. The fresh fruit, bread and milk was very generous and made settling in to the unit easy. There were plenty of suggestions and pamphlets of day trips or things to do. We would recommend Julie's place as a great value for money stay in Glenelg

The apartment was perfection! Located one street from Adelaide Central Market and China Town and walking distance within the rest of the city. The atmosphere was well curated and with quality pieces of furniture and personal touches. I honestly could live here!! I loved the pool and also the neighbours are friendly and considerate. I felt the community vibe. Although the complex is in the middle of the city it was peaceful and the balcony sunsets A+ lots of coffee / cafes close by.

Mark and Penny’s place is truly five star. Their cottage is beautifully decorated with amazing art deco clocks, radios and lamps. There are Persian rugs and curtains that are all immaculately clean. They pack all the facilities into their small kitchen with washer, dryer, microwave, dishwasher, Dyson stick vacuum and ironing board. The cottage garden is very pretty with fountains and seats to relax and take in the peace and quiet. Oh and the wifi is excellent. We have stayed with Mark and Penny before and we will be back!
