Wayne National Forest - Athens Ranger District - Athens Unit cabins

It was beautiful and great location. Beds were comfortable and it was clean. We had a hard time getting in but we were reimbursed for the night. It did not affect our stay greatly . We had a great weekend d and our dog loved it!! I would recommend check in before 10pm in case you run into issues. The issues are really due to wood expansion and issues out of control of the owner. However, you are out in the woods so communication outside of the home can be tricky. Inside the home we were able to work in our cloud environment, it was slower obviously but manageable. We would stay there again, perhaps in the Fall.

The home is as beautiful as the pictures. The kids loved the hot tub and game room. Thank you Mia for the smores!! The kids loved that added touch. We would have loved to explore the property and enjoy an evening bonfire but, it ended up cold & rainy until check out day. It did give us an opportunity to venture over to the Rock House cave before driving back to Indy which was 5 minutes from the house and worth the easy hike. We also went to a little spot called LJ's Ice Cream & Pizza for Milkshakes and wings, my son loved the wings so much we had to stop and order 40 wings to take home =).

Marc is a great host! The cabin was a perfect Christmas getaway for our family of 17! Plenty of rooms and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The cabin was close to attractions and the game-room kept the kids occupied. Made lots of great memories! Thank you Marc for a great experience!!

We arrived on a super foggy night and had trouble finding the driveway - the host was so kind and helped us navigate the area (which is hard to do when you have no service and can’t see LOL)! It was such a peaceful stay. The home was even more beautiful in person! Close enough to the caves and hiking trails. The hot tub was a fun bonus! We would totally stay here again!

Perfect girls weekend getaway! Kevin was a wonderful host and very responsive. Very clean, and peaceful. Location was great. I do recommend making sure you have all the groceries you need for your trip when you arrive at the home because the grocery store is a bit of a hike for us city girls :) Walmart worked well for us as it has the most options. I highly recommend this home!!

Absolutely wonderful getaway, quiet and peaceful but not so far from a variety of entertainment options. Great place!

I can’t give this place and the host enough stars! I don’t think 5 stars properly covers it. She was always friendly and fast to respond. It was my girls and I anniversary and she set out flowers for her that were beautiful. Now the place, inside is super cute, clean and well setup. We loved that there were board games and movies there. Outside was breathtaking and just what you want for a peaceful getaway. It’s now going to be our go to place when we need a weekend to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life. Truly has beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere.

The house was clean and conviently located. The neighborhood was a little sketchy. We were on a tight budget so it met our needs.

The house and the amenities itself were amazing. One of the nicest, cleanest, and well stocked Airbnb's I have ever stayed in. Kitchen had everything we needed. The game room and couches/TVs were awesome. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and well kept with towels/linens. I am sure having access to the lake would have been great in the summer, although we were unable to use it. Hot tub was clean and in great working order. We had zero negative things to say.

We adored Casita del Sol! The hosts go above and beyond to ensure their guests enjoy their stay. From the added personal touches of homemade buckeyes and doggie treats to the outdoor accommodations such as the hot tub and yard games, we truly felt like it was our home away from home. This place is THE BEST place for families with young kids that we have ever stayed. We visit the area often to see my parents, and we definitely plan to stay here again! Thank you for an amazing trip!

Me and my family had the best time in Corning. The location is just as describe. Jason and JJ were very accommodating and responded promptly if we had questions. We look forward to going back.

The place was very fun and clean. Lots to do and was surprised with the corn hole. Grill was nice and the hot tub was awesome

Even more amazing than last year! We noticed several renovations / improvements around the property. Everything was well-stocked, clearly-labeled, so well-organized! Kitchen/bathrooms/ linens/kitchen PRISTINE. Fall foliage on-point (last year we were a few weeks too late). The gas grill and solo fire pit are amazing! Thank you Devon for another AMAZING stay and break from the pressures day-to-day life!
