the house was beautiful. bigger than expected and very comfortable. kitchen fully equipped which allowed us to cook at home with the family . caroilin was a great host . communication excellent..the area is lovely . the purple onion restaurant was delicious. would highly recommend. not much in the area for kids but if you have the car for travelling you could go to nearby towns. we enjoyed the famine museum which was 15 mins car journey . was a great stay and we would love to stay at the house again

Lovely stay and very friendly host!

A dream stay, plenty of room to stretch out, eat together and stay warm after days hiking. The hot tub was a nice touch. Grocery stores close, really helpful guide provided. We felt this was a delightful and magical stay!

Really nice house and area, house was spotless and had beautiful views from the front door. Big garden and cosy living area. Very clear instructions from Lorraine and very helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway

We had the most enjoyable and relaxed stay at Villa Jokubas. We stayed in the jungle cabin and it was everything and more than we expected. Candles lighting, fire on the tv and relaxing music on arrival. To our surprise, heated floors in the bathroom was a beautiful touch to this magnificent cabin. The BBQ and hot tub were so easy to use and the local butchers in Abbeyleix - Bobs butchers had a great selection of BBQ products. The onsite bar hosted a spectacular sauna and a fire - perfect for a winter stay. At Villa Jokubas, they brew their own beer/IPA which was amazing. Finally, but certainly not the least, the hosts were so attentive and helpful. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to family and friends. Paula's apartment was perfect, lots of lovely thoughtful touches that made our stay so much more enjoyable. She provided plenty of food for our breakfast which was an added bonus. Thanks so much Paula hopefully we will be back soon xx

Great little place . Has everything you need for a well rested sleep and a lovely hot shower after a day of walking . Peaceful and quiet area.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She greeted us warmly and even took the time to give us a personal tour of the resort, which was such a thoughtful touch. She genuinely didn’t have to, but her kindness and attention to detail made all the difference. It was clear that she truly cares about her guests and wants them to have the best experience possible. The resort itself was very pleasant, offering a comfortable and serene environment perfect for relaxation. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, and the amenities provided made us feel right at home. We enjoyed every corner of the space, and it felt like a true escape from the everyday hustle. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and can’t wait to see how the place evolves over time.
