Vacation rentals with a patio in Water Island

I recently stayed at an Airbnb in St. Thomas, and it was a fantastic experience! The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking, offering a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The location was ideal, with easy access to local attractions and beautiful beaches. The host was incredibly communicative, making the check-in process a breeze and ensuring we had everything we needed. The place itself was spotless and well-maintained, making our stay all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to explore St. Thomas!

Fantastic! We stayed at Monic's apartment for a week and we absolutely loved it! The location is gorgeous, as it's nestled back in the hills of the jungle. Each morning, we enjoyed making coffee with the fresh coffee beans that were in the kitchen for our stay and just enjoyed the apartment and the view! When we were ready to explore, it's only a 10-12 minute drive into town for amazing meals and 15-20 minutes to explore all of the beautiful beaches. To be honest, we were nervous to drive on the narrow, hilly roads the first night, but after the first day, we learned our way around and felt like pros! We rented a car in St. John, which I would highly recommend. Finally, we used the washer/dryer daily, which was super helpful with wet towels and swim suits AND the fact that this rental has beach chairs, towels, coolers and snorkeling gear was a huge plus!! You will love this apartment and we cannot wait to visit again.

Really enjoyed the accomodations, quite location, beautiful water view and easily accessible from airport and downtown Charlotte Amalie. It is convienent to both the West and South East ends of the Island. Only 15 minutes to Red Hook area which includes the Ferry services (both People Ferry and Car Ferry) to St. John.

I could not recommend staying with Bridget and Michael more. Not only were they extremely friendly and responsive but they always went the extra mile to make me feel welcomed and sure that I had a good time. I was a solo traveler (24M) and did this whole trip on a tight budget, regardless Bridget and Michael did everything they could to make sure I was having a good stay and went to all the right places on the island. My only recommendation for people who are looking to book is to either rent a car or be okay with a hike before you go because it is a bit of a rough road and steep hill getting to the airbnb (It’s a hilly island so this isn’t uncommon). I opted to not get a car and still thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the walkability to Cruz Bay and all the shops was fantastic. REGARDLESS, everything else made that small detail WORTH IT and the YouTube video explaining how to get there helped a lot! I could not recommend choosing this AirBnb enough and am excited to come back and visit!

Had a great one night stay in this unit up top. It had everything we needed, was pristine, had all new amenities, furniture, and appliances. Definitely a great stay for two people and for a short term stay, even three, as there is a sofa bed. The communication with May was excellent and she made everything very easy. We appreciated that there was a cooler and beach chairs, if we wished to take them with us to the beach. The location is a 5 min drive to Cruz bay and easy to drive to other parts of the island from there. Would definitely recommend!

The apartment was clean, very comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches that made the experience truly enjoyable. Very quiet neighborhood. Authentic St. Thomas. 10-20 min drive to most places. The house was stocked with plentiful bath and beach towels, a well-equipped kitchen that had everything needed for cooking, and a Keurig for morning coffee. Hosts even left snacks & water bottles for our arrival! The cooler was incredibly handy for day trips, and the tub full of beach accessories and chairs made beach outings easier and more enjoyable. Even small conveniences like tissues being readily available showed how much attention was paid to guests’ needs. One important note for future guests: the driveway is quite steep and off an alley that was full of potholes, so I would highly recommend renting an SUV or a vehicle with four-wheel drive for ease of access. Overall, this property exceeded my expectations, and the hosts were incredibly helpful with recommendations

Great place to escape for a few days. wonderful views off the patio. I had a small problem with the bed, but the host was quickly responsive. I advise arriving in daylight if possible, but I did not and still found the place easily. The host also had fantastic ideas of what to do.

The views and place are better than the photos - no photoshop used. You will fall in love with the view. Beautiful gardens with flowers and perfect sunrises. This is the main reason to stay here. Temperature - my spouse runs HOT. No problems here end of December! The constant breezes were more than enough. The hosts also graciously left us an extra standing fan. Cleanliness - I know I am a small bit more of a clean freak than others and was pleasantly surprised by how clean this place was! Better than I expected. I appreciated that they left us a broom, too. Bed - the mattress looks nearly brand new and was quite comfortable. Kitchen- well stocked with stainless steel - no beat up teflon here. The photos are accurate. We missed the lighters for the gas stove so don’t make our mistake and buy one - our mistake! Overall I’d stay here again. The views are magic and the hosts were kind and responsive.

Isa is such a GEM of a human! She was so kind, welcoming, thoughtful, all around fantastic host! Her space is so serene and peaceful and the views are magical! It had all the essentials and was pristinely clean! She welcomed us and our doggies with grace and warm hospitality - we absolutely loved our time at her space! Thank you, Isa!!!

Highly recommend this stay - it’s close to town but zig zags up and out of the way as well - ocean bay view with great breezes on the porch. One spot for jeep parking. Andrew is very responsive - efficient and quick to help if you need anything. It has just what you need for a home base in a beautiful place. We come every 6-12 months and would definitely add this home into our rotation :)

Incredible property! The view from the patio is to die for! Pictures definitely don't do it justice. The property is furnished with what looks to be antique pieces; absolutely stunning and unique. The property is walking distance to town so no car is needed if you are staying close by. The property also had 4 quality beach chairs, towels, lots of sunscreen, waters, sodas, snacks, fruit, and a complimentary bottle of rum to get us started. Harold, the property manager is the best! He was very friendly and willing to drive us to and from nearby areas so no rental car was needed. Only thing to be aware of is that the living room area does not have AC, but the two bedrooms do. There are fans in the living room, but just be aware that you will likely be sweating when not in the bedrooms. Overall, fantastic experience. Customer service was exceptional. The Ledgewood team proactively reached out to check in daily to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Words cant even describe how impressed I am with the house and the host. Suzy was on top of it from the moment we rented the house. She reached out to give us very detailed instructions on how to get to the house. It is hard to find, but if you follow the instructions its no problem at all. Suzy was also attentive to everything we needed help with while we were there. As for the house not only is it dreamy, it comes with almost anything you may need, plus some beach goodies. We had fun lounging on the outdoor patio and enjoy the stars at night. This house is an amazing stay and worth every single penny.

This place was perfect! I stayed for a few months here and loved every minute! Baron was very responsive and was able to bring us whatever we needed! The parking was nice so we did not have to park on the street. I could not recommend this place more! You can see St Croix from the top of the hill and the neighborhood is peaceful. 10/10 stay in the VI! It is centrally located so the drives to any beaches or restaurants is around 15 min. There is beautiful birds and plants surrounding the home. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and local stay in St Thomas!

"Yellow Flamingo" refers to the ground floor of the 2-store villa. The kitchen is equipped with all that we needed with UV-treated water and extra filtering system. Breakfast area is in a small screened terrace with a view to surrounding trees and bushes. Nearby pool with a great view to the Cruz bay is a nice spot. Space is adequate for two. The king bed is very comfortable. We got used to the pretty loud whistling noise of local creatures ( frogs?) in the night, but more disturbing was the noise from the upper floor unit when it was occupied- from loud stepping and noise from drugging the furniture / rolling doors. Kristy and managers are very friendly and ready to help any time.

I had an incredible stay at this Jazmin's airbnb ! The place was spotless and perfectly located right by one of the best beaches on the island. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond by providing a detailed guide to local attractions and restaurants, which made our trip even more enjoyable. This was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had. Highly recommend!

We SO enjoyed Julie’s place 🥰 Very comfortable, great corner condo w corner patio running around ….best part! The bed is king size and very comfortable. I was surprised no one mentioned that?! Rained a lot when we were there so we spent a little extra time in the condo; it’s very homey. Never heard the 2am loud bar everyone was talking about in other reviews not that we would’ve minded it, just sayin :). Little busy road out front in am. Trucks etc but mostly just heard bird’s and nature. AC is bomb also fans in room if you’re a light sleeper like me. She’s got every thing you need for a kitchen including blender, toaster, oven, hotplate etc. Office room too. Also, the best floaties for the water were with the beach chairs and cooler; cooler was bomb too, we were glad to find that. Def get the floaties in case they’re not there honestly! Best things EVER for floating around for hours, they are KEY for the beach! Would definitely recommend staying here! PS~Amazon: hammock floati

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Larissa’s condo! The space was pristine—spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. Larissa was a fantastic host, incredibly attentive, and quick to respond to any questions. She was so welcoming and provided thoughtful touches, like beach towels and excellent recommendations for nearby activities. The condo’s location was perfect—just steps from the quiet beach and pool, making it super convenient for our family. We had a great time, and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you, Larissa, for making our trip so memorable!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful beach condo in Bolongo Bay in St. Thomas, and I can confidently say it was one of the best vacation experiences I've ever had. The condo itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and had stunning ocean views from the balcony. We loved waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying our morning coffee while watching the sunrise. The location was perfect, however you will need to rent a car as it is between Charlotte Amelia and Red Hook. The host had also provided beach towels/chairs and a starter kit for basic household items. Communication with the host was seamless throughout our stay. They were quick to respond to any questions we had and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Their attention to detail truly made us feel at home. This was my first time at St. Thomas and this Air BNB was the perfect vibe I was going for, not totally off the beaten path - but not super tourist-y. 5/5 stars.

Perfect location in the resort, with a sandy beach area right in front of the place. The beach and water easily lives up to everything you have read about Sapphire. The condo is immaculate, well appointed, and with a wraparound deck that has an exquisite view. We have stayed in countless Airbnb places, and I have never seen k e has well-provisioned as this one. Amazing. Bed was super comfortable, and the multi ceiling fans make for an excellent sleep. The proximity to Red Hook, and the ferries there, made this condo so convenient t to what we wanted to do during our stay. We were fortunate to meet both the owners, who were so very welcoming and gracious. Without hesitation we would stay here again, and certainly recommend this place to anyone visiting St. Thomas.

Great location up the hill from Cruz Bay town. Lovely views out the windows over the bay, just down the driveway from the pool and community bar. Just FYI, the main road down to the town is busy and lacks sidewalks, so it's not super walkable, but it's easy to get a taxi and we had a car to get around. The Hills are also super visible, so it was cool to be able to pick out our place from around the island.

What can I say? Carrie’s place was absolutely stunning! The views when you first enter are breathtaking! I traveled with my dad and daughter. The two master suites were perfect! This condo is spacious and looks exactly as described. Waking up to the ocean views and sounds of the waves crashing was so peaceful. Restaurants and things to do are nearby. You may want to rent a car because it can be more convenient if you like to venture out, sightsee and do others things besides excursions. Red Hook has amazing restaurants. Havensite is a nice for a little shopping. Carrie was responsive and very helpful with all of my questions. I would recommend 10/10! Thank you, Carrie!
