Amazing space! Easily accessible if you are ok with some stairs. The stained glass windows are beautiful and the sunset views are fantastic. Conveniently located— it was an easy walk to numerous food and coffee options! (We really liked Rendezvous and Greeko’s). We would like to come back again and enjoy Abingdon for another season of the year :).

Our stay was great! The place was spotless, beds were super comfortable and instructions to get to the place and to check in were perfect! Definitely an amazing experience, thank you so much!

We have stayed at the Red Door for several years. It is always great. Very clean, spacious and decorated beautifully. Location is perfect if you want to be walking distance from Blowing Rock restaurants and great shopping. Will always stay at the Red Door when in the area.

I’ve stayed in Catherine’s upstairs unit many times, but this was my first stay in the new downstairs unit. It’s lovely! Very nicely decorated, homey decor, very nice kitchen and bathroom! Felt so comfortable and right at home! As always, Catherine was a great host, always responsive and helpful! Definitely recommend!

We stayed for 2 1/2 weeks. Great location. Nothing we needed was more than 15-30 minutes away even though some destinations were in other towns. Condo was clean and quiet. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Second year in a row that my husband and son stayed there to do their ski trip! Very convenient, clean and perfect for their trip!

The apartment was very comfortable and worked for our needs. It’s my husband’s hometown and was close to the people we weee visiting. Cheryl was always helpful if we needed anything.

The condo was the perfect base for our family's weekend in the mountains. It's is walking distance to the sledding hill, in the next building to the pool/hot tub, and there's a smaller hill for sledding right outside. Do take the instructions about snow chains seriously; the last half mile of the drive was very icy when we were there.

We recently stayed at the Rambo house before taking off on a section hike, and it was a fantastic experience. The house itself is great, offering comfortable accommodations and a nice facility that made our stay enjoyable. Its location is perfect, with easy access to Damascus , allowing us to explore the area effortlessly. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay.

This place is very welcome very cozy very clean with a beautiful view of the mountains. Very quiet and relaxing place .we enjoyed our vacation and we will come back . The host Melissa was super nice and very thoughtful of everything what you need to make your stay fantastic.we love that place and is highly recommend to give a try .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed. The house was fresh and clean. The location was close to groceries and restaurants and we felt right at home. We entertained family during our stay with plenty of room. It was very tastefully decorated and even had a Christmas tree. Thank you to Karen and Maurice for their attention to detail. We plan to stay here again when we are back in the area.

This is the 3rd time we've rented David and Sharlene's house....which should speak for itself! Beautiful location, unbelievably comfortable and well stocked home including kitchen equipment and bath and laundry supplies, and close to everywhere you might want to go from the Creeper Trail and the Holsten River in the backyard, to the cute little winery down the street, and centrally located between Abingdon (for arts and food) and Damascus (for biking and hiking).

I was in town for work and this spot was in the perfect location. Easy to get wherever I needed to be in a nice quiet neighborhood.

The house is beautiful and a peaceful place to go in the evening after a day of fun, or at the end of a hectic travel day. The kitchen is well stocked with all the things you will need and has very nice appliances. Towels are large and fluffy like you would find at a spa. Karen and Eddie are very responsive and so friendly. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Absolutely beautiful mountain home! Very relaxing and peaceful place. Jennifer was very accommodating to early check in/out time for added fee; which we took full advantage of. Highly recommended.

I had a great time in this comfortable condo. An ideal location about 25 minutes from beech resort and 15 minutes from sugar mountain. The fireplace was a nice touch, couches were very comfortable and the kitchen had sufficient cookware and dishes. I’ll will look forward to staying at this condo again in the future.

Very detailed instructions, easy to understand, and overall wonderful location. We were visiting to go skiing and this was perfect, our balcony overlooking the slopes was a great way to wake up excited about the day to come. The place was very clean and cozy. After being out all day we were able to come back to the condo and feel right at home. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful as well as the owners. Overall wonderful place!

David and Jennifer’s place was a perfect place to spend a long weekend full of skiing and mountain fun. Perfectly located to the local amusement of Beech Mountain, it was easy to access Beech Mtn skiing, as well as restaurants and groceries options. The property is clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped with all cooking tools (i.e. toaster oven, air fryer, waffle maker, microwave, coffee maker, etc.)-bring your own condiments, aluminum foil for baking sheets and lighter if you want to use the cozy fire place (you can purchase fire wood 3 min away at Fred’s Mercantile). Our family of 5 fit very comfortably. Added bonus, if you go in the winter months, the house has a couple of sleds that we used to sled down the hill in the courtyard of the condo at the bottom of the complex steps! Beautiful property, can’t image in how nice it would be to use the spacious side porch. Next time!! Thank you for having us!

We arrived at night, it was beautiful but then awoke to the most breathtaking views. We would stay here a million times and never get tired of watching the mountains change with clouds, sun and snow. The rooms and bathrooms were top notch, the kitchen was perfect and the living room was also great, too. We love having a washer and dryer to cut down on the packing and laundry when we get home. Definitely worth staying, being able to take in the views. A++++++

Such a great location, epic view of the mountain and the details of coffee, salt/ pepper, washer/dryer are amazing extras! Comfy bed and my friend slept on the pull out couch which was great. All and all excellent stay and would definitely book again!

Everything was perfect, our family was very comfortable and lots of space. The condo was clean and exactly as listed. The location is beautiful and very safe. We will definitely be going back during the spring
