This was my second time staying at Bao’s house and everything was perfect! The location is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. There are many nearby shops to purchase whatever you need, but most importantly, yummy food! I discovered Oyatsupan on this trip! My dog loves looking out the window at other dogs enjoying their walk 🐶 The green pathways throughout the neighborhood are always my dog’s favorite adventure!

The place was perfect for a family of five. Very easy check-in and checkout process would definitely stay again. Thanks a lot Tina.

If you’re needing a place to have fun and relax on your trip, look no further. Up to date amenities, very clean, walkable, and very responsive host. Will definitely be staying in the future again!

The house was well stocked and equipped with all you’d need for a comfortable stay; we stayed 5 days and only left for our own entertainment and pleasure; no running errands to get things we needed that the house didn’t have, No, not the case; it had it all and then some! We built a fire outside in the patio that was awesome; plenty of wood! Beautiful! The master bedroom shower is awesome; roomy with 2 nice shower heads; that was great! Had one question for Vickie, she quickly responded ON Thanksgiving day! All this and waking up in a house surrounded by a plush forest! Perfect! Loved it, would definitely recommend! Easy peasy!

Clean, easy instructions, cute little home, very cozy, at the end of the street, awesome front porch, kid friendly, and awesome full sized fridge. Jillian was friendly and responsive. Loved that there was a nice driveway to park in. Loved the park right down the road for the kids. Quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable. We will be back.

Kathryn's home was for hosting my parents over the Thanksgiving holiday. Having a place for two folks needing very minimal steps (there are only two in the main living area) was quite important. The house was perfect for their needs. It's well-appointed, comfortable, and peaceful. The location is outstanding - tucked away, but easily accessible to anywhere visitors would like to explore in the Portland area. We had one minor plumbing issue, which was addressed immediately and completely resolved. Kathryn and her additional care takers were easy to contact, and very thoughtful. Everything was organized, clearly communicated, and stress-free. Absolutely would recommend this property, and will happily stay here again.

Overall I’d say my experience staying here was 5/5 stars. The neighborhood was great, the amenities and house were well cared for. We did arrive pretty late to check-in, after the sun had gone down, so we did have to make a few laps around the neighborhood to find the house, but once we did it was super easy to get it in! Patrick was extremely nice and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend!

Jenn’s place was perfect for our family getaway weekend. The house was very clean and comfortable for all of us. Kitchen was well stocked and neighborhood was very walkable. Excellent location for everything we wanted to do. Great place to stay!

Erin’s place was as described and so convenient for our trip. Quiet area and centric. She was quick to respond and answer any question we had. Location was great for our family as it is located 3 minutes away from relatives and from major commercial areas with restaurants and shops.

The apartment was nice and cozy I felt like I was at home everything was close by a lot of amazing places to go eat and a lot of good places to go sightseeing I 100% recommend it and would definitely stay again if I’m ever in town

Julie was a generous host. It was a peaceful place for my family to stay and easy for our local family to come for meals and visit. Every morning we had coffee on the large private deck. We sat on the deck some evenings and enjoyed the fresh air and complete lack of mosquitoes. The two full bathrooms for the five of us were essential. We booked this house to have a great place to stay-in and have local family over but it was also close to many things in Portland. The zoo and the science museum were two of them. Julie was responsive to requests and just a very kind person.

Dorian and Marvin were such incredibly warm, and welcoming hosts. I had the privilege of staying at the Airbnb for three months. Their space made me feel right at home, surrounded by nature, and farm animals it was the perfect get away. I’m so thankful for my time at the Airbnb and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, and peaceful vacation.

Scott’s BNB is absolutely gorgeous and worth every dollar. He is an exceptional host and treated my girlfriend and I to a much needed, relaxing night. Communication was on point and his family is more than willing to help if he is unavailable. The guest house is fairly close to the main house but there was 0 issues related (even if I was feeling that we were too loud for him). He respected our privacy beyond expectation and was extremely accommodating for us. I highly recommend booking with Scott and I know that I’ll be booking again in the future!

Great family Thanksgiving at the Swoosh house. Due to rainy weather we did not benefit from patios and bbq and VillaSport pool. No garage door opener and house is very vertical! Everything was clean and comfortable and everyone enjoyed the big round table for meals and games together. You will have a good time here!

The best AirBnB experience to date! Their home was beautiful, with so much space, well furnished and located conveniently near the highway and also very close to family in town. Jenn was very communicative and accommodating, which made our stay comfortable and stress free. The space was more than enough for our group of 7, the kitchen was very well equipped which helped us with our Thanksgiving dinner, and the beds were so comfortable, it was hard not to just lay in bed and watch TV. The games provided both indoors and outdoors entertained us the whole week! We would love to stay at Hunker Down Homes again whenever we're in Oregon, if they'll have us!! Thank you Jenn and Steve for being the best hosts we've ever had!! P.S. we loved the bubbles provided! Definitely kickstarted our vacation!

We had an extended stay due to serious damage to our home. With the lengthy nature of insurance timelines, they were very flexible working with us to extend our stay multiple times . Their place is comfortable and well equipped and they were always proactive in making us comfortable with maintenance activities. They even checked if we needed them to bring over fans during a hot spell , but the AC was excellent . Location is great- we live nearby and there are several nice parks with trails, as well as a short distance from lots of great recreation opportunities. Max and Elizabeth are super communicators as well as really nice folks and it was great to not have any stress about a housing situation on top of managing instance claims and repair details. They even shared a referral to an amazing contractor that was enormously helpful and we are now enjoying his work!

Fantastic home with beautiful furnishings, gorgeous grounds, and more than adequate kitchen supplies. Claudia is a super responsive, thoughtful, and friendly host. She was welcoming to my dogs as well. My family and I hope to stay there again next year!

I recently stayed at Jenny’s Farm over Thanksgiving, and it was an unforgettable experience. The farm was picturesque, with stunning landscapes and friendly animals that added to the serene atmosphere. The Airbnb was spacious and peaceful. Jenny was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
