Everything was as described, it was easy to get to a very quiet area. Everything was great.

Amazing place, host, felt right at home. Kids loved it!

The best part about this Airbnb was the amazing location. Right next to so many restaurants; I could walk for coffee, food, and drinks whenever I wanted! Also great hosts and nice place!

A little smaller than shown in the pictures. But overall very nice and clean inside. Love the bathroom and especially the shower. No oven mitts for the stove so bring those. Extra blankets and towels in the closet could’ve been nice. The complex is a little trashy and when you walk into the C building there’s a moldy smell. The apartment is right by the washer and dryer which can get pretty loud so be aware of that. Check in/check out seems a little unfair for the price. A 4pm check in seems a bit late and a 11:00am “SHARP” check out seems a little early in my opinion. At the end of your stay Jesse will mention a “special discount” for your next stay. Ambiguous but hope this stands true. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great first time in Detroit for the Wunderhorse concert at El Club down the street. Airbnb was clean, spacious, and perfect for our trip! Had a slight issue with the doorknob (our mistake) and Jeremy was right down to help us out. Thank you Jeremy for welcoming us into your place!

Very clean. Trina was very responsive and helpful during the check-in and check-out process. Instructions were very clear. Great place.

Modest urban neighborhood. Felt safe. Helpful to have on-site parking, though lots of street parking. Kitchen was really well-stocked w/ dishes. Liked having tea & coffee, as well as nice appliances. All instructions were clear & helpful. No glitches. Price was a bargain for our goal of close proximity to DIA.

Came in to work in Detroit, Shiv's place is the best deal on Airbnb for the Detroit area imo. he accurately described the place, it's an old building, not perfect, definitely lived in regularly. The air conditioning kept us cool, and the heat kept us warm. The washer and dryer worked, as did the hot water. Everything that I needed was there. Shiv was very responsive when I had a question, but was not intrusive what so ever. great host. If ever I need to stay in Detroit again, I hope that this place is available!

This property is very walkable to restaurants and shopping. It’s also on a very quiet block. We felt comfortable and safe. The beds were great, plenty of towels.

We loved Ahmad's beautiful and peaceful home! We stayed for three weeks with our newborn baby, and it was very comfy and felt like home. We loved the neighborhood and found our stay easy and enjoyable. Ahmad was incredibly communicative and helpful! Would definitely stay again.

Great home base for family visiting to see the Lions take on the Vikings at Ford Field. The neighborhood was quiet and the space was clean and comfy.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, very close to places to shop, and easy access to local freeways. I appreciated Meriam's responsiveness during our time there. We'd definitely book and recommend this home for future visits.

The house is roomy, clean, and located in a quiet safe neighborhood. The backyard is lovely for sitting and observing the birds, squirrels, deer. We had lots of local activities so didn’t get to spend as much time in the house as usual. Our host was very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. Thank you

I have stayed in this property prior and have not been disappointed. If in the area in the future, I will always look at the availability of this home. I highly recommend this property to others.

Overall this was a great stay in a great apartment and we wouldn't hesitate to book again. One hiccup and one warning. The hiccup: We found check-in to not be "simple and hassle free." The garage door code didn't work, but we were still able to quickly get in with supplement instructions from the host, which were sent super fast. However, we then discovered that the key did not open the exterior door to the building. Again, some quick messaging got this sorted out, but it shouldn't have been a problem in the first place. The warning: Your location is super close to lots of exciting things, but be aware that if there's anything going on at Little Caesars, there will not be legal street parking available to you as it gets super crowded. The garage space is big enough to fit a medium-sized SUV, but getting inside could be a bit stressful. We found backing in to be much easier than going in head first. The listing points all of this out, but just be aware that it is really true!

This is a great spot to stay for sporting events! Very walkable and good bars/restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend!

The place was great, very peaceful and felt like home. Very clean and organized. Host very responsive and clear instructions of checking in and out. Would recommend. In case I do go back I would rent it again.

Awesome location! Walking distance to downtown Royal Oak including walking distance to the Zoo. The place was cozy and comfortable. The only (minor) issue is the noise from upstairs. It didn't bother me much, but you can definitely hear every step the upstairs neighbors take. Overall the place was great. I'd stay there again for sure.

This is the best AIRBNB I’ve ever stayed in for the price in Detroit. It only has ONE drawback, the place doesn’t have any parking. There’s a vacant lot next door but it isn’t designed for parking. We parked there at our own risk.

Shone was absolutely amazing, He allowed me to check in hours before check-in time & went above and beyond to accommodate me when I ran into a problem. Shone as well as his wife responded to my every need In a reasonable timeframe… this home looks exactly like the pictures and is in a quiet/peaceful community 10/10 if you’re looking for somewhere cozy and relaxing I recommend booking here!!!

I can't thank Sean enough for his amazing hospitality. Not only is the location just as pictured, the pictures don't do it justice. The location is close to everything a Detroiter would love. fully stocked kitchen and bar with local favorites, smart tech home, COMFORTABLE, parking is easy and convenient, and he even thinks of his guests enough to leave a gift card to an amazing local market. I will ABSOLUTELY be back and again can't stress enough that IF this place is available BOOK IT!!!
